Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

”You can fly in the water.”

That’s the only introduction to swimming skills, yet it gave Li Younan a very intuitive understanding of this skill he had mastered.

In a certain sense, swimming in the water is indeed very similar to flying.

Birds fly in the sky, using the buoyancy of the air; swimming in the water also uses buoyancy. In some ways, flying and swimming are comparable actions, only one provides less buoyancy, while the other provides more buoyancy.

And this skill is said to allow you to fly in the water, so from certain angles, both speed and control over the body can almost be compared to the posture of birds in the air.

Or perhaps... Li Younan thought, it’s not just birds that can fly, but also superheroes, like Superman or Super Saiyan.

However, this thought made Li Younan chuckle to himself.

Unfortunately, now on the way into Tibet, it’s unlikely to find any swimming scenes.

But after leaving Sichuan, there are a few lakes.

However, swimming in such cold waters at high altitudes in April is akin to self-torture.

For a long time before, his inability to swim was a source of pain.

Later, through relentless effort, he finally learned this skill that many people could acquire, but overall, he still wasn’t very proficient. He could manage basic water treading in a pool without drowning, but such feats were unrelated to adjectives like graceful or fast.

Whenever he swam in the pool, Li Younan would naturally envy those who could butterfly stroke or freestyle, effortlessly gliding back and forth in a lane.

In contrast, he slowly used breaststroke, struggling in the water, and occasionally ended up swallowing water if he didn’t breathe correctly.

Logically, coordination was already his forte, so there was no reason to be so clumsy. To put it bluntly, it was still a matter of proficiency.

Even the most talented swimmers need to spend a lot of time in the water to become familiar with those movements.

Recently, Li Younan had been quite busy, and after learning to swim, he hadn’t practiced further, so this level of skill wasn’t surprising.

But things would be different going forward. Given a pool, he could experience what it feels like to fly.

Of course, there was another skill that didn’t directly enhance swimming skills but could perfectly complement them, and that was the secondary Deep Sea Lineage skill—enhanced thoracic elastic fibers, increased blood oxygen exchange ability, and connective tissue with stronger buffer capacity, allowing him to maintain normal activity in low oxygen or high-pressure environments.

This secondary Deep Sea Lineage skill was a perfect complement to his swimming skills.

The current human record for apnea diving is 107 meters, meaning without relying on a scuba tank, just holding their breath; they can dive to a depth of 107 meters. The scuba diving record, however, is an astonishing over 332 meters.

With the addition of these two skills, although Li Younan hadn’t tested it, he felt that he was probably not far off from these records.

Having acquired this new skill, Li Younan was in great spirits. He even hummed a tune while driving.

Liu Li couldn’t help but glance at Li Younan a few more times, her eyes shimmering with unspoken thoughts.

...

The journey ahead once again grew a bit long, with the next stop being from Xinduqiao to Litang.

They didn’t linger much as they passed through Yajiang, just taking a brief rest before setting off again.

Then came the legendary winding mountain roads where the altitude surged directly to over 4000 meters.

Li Younan naturally didn’t feel much, and the cockpit also had oxygen outlets.

It was worth mentioning the wise decision Li Younan made when customizing the camper—he didn’t mix the camper’s electrical system with the vehicle’s own system. This meant that even while driving, the camper’s electricity could power the oxygen machine, keeping the oxygen level in the cockpit at a healthy state.

Liu Li naturally sensed all of this.

Because along the way, she saw many tourists pulled over, either breathing oxygen or vomiting due to the altitude sickness.

Having seen such scenes multiple times, she couldn’t help but think that if not for Li Younan’s early preparations, how could she have such a relaxing and delightful travel experience?

He was indeed a careful person...

To be precise, he was not only careful but also considerate.

Although she had long known about Li Younan’s attention to detail, when that meticulousness was applied to herself, the experience still warmed her heart.

After passing through the winding mountain roads, the next stretch was like the sky grassland regions of Ruoergai and Hongyuan.

By the time they reached here, most of the day had passed, and it was already afternoon.

Liu Li had never seen such vast grasslands, so they stopped here to rest for a while.

Grasslands, as Li Younan had previously told Liu Li, are stunning at first sight, but after seeing them repeatedly, they can become monotonous—why is it always grasslands?
