Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Chapter 124: Chapter 92: The 100,000-Fan Streamer’s Rural Home Makeover Plan! [6,000 Words!]

Li Younan drove Lu Xiaolan and Xu Liya back to the county town.

As soon as the car stopped, Xu Liya jumped out and stretched comfortably.

By now, she had removed all her makeup and changed back into her regular clothes. Carrying a small suitcase, she squinted and said comfortably, ”Today’s experience was amazing, Brother Younan. Don’t forget to send me the photos.”

Li Younan nodded.

He planned to have Jing Chaoyi help with some editing before sending the photos to them. After all, if you decide to do something, you might as well do it well.

These two girls, who had just finished their college entrance exams, were at their most carefree right now. With interests, they should indulge a little. As the older brother, he shouldn’t spoil their fun at such a time and should help them enjoy to the fullest.

Xu Liya added to Lu Xiaolan, ”I’m really jealous of you, damn it...”

She couldn’t help but curse and then sneaked a glance at Li Younan. Seeing that he didn’t seem to notice, she continued, ”All my cousins are useless. If I could trade all my cousins for you, it would be great.”

Lu Xiaolan laughed heartily.

After Xu Liya went home, Lu Xiaolan sat in the front passenger seat again.

She had just received a message from Li Younan’s aunt, who was also her own mother, notifying her that they had to go out for two days. During these two days, no one would be at Lu Xiaolan’s house, so her mom asked Li Younan to take Lu Xiaolan over to stay and eat at their place.

In her mom’s view, Lu Xiaolan was still an 18-year-old girl, and it wasn’t right to leave her alone at home. She could share a room with her when she came over.

Lu Xiaolan gladly agreed. Like Li Younan, she adored her aunt.

Because her aunt never lectured her like other elders.

In the car, Lu Xiaolan looked through her makeup bag.

Li Younan glanced over curiously and asked, ”By the way, I haven’t asked yet. Where did you get this set of makeup?”

This set of makeup wasn’t complete; it had some good items and some not-so-good ones.

Lu Xiaolan looked up and said, ”This set belongs to my cousin.”

Li Younan blinked. If it was Lu Xiaolan’s cousin, he probably knew who it was and kept quiet.

Lu Xiaolan’s cousin wasn’t related to Li Younan.

Lu Xiaolan zipped up the makeup bag, blinked, and suddenly said to Li Younan, ”Cousin, can you teach me how to apply makeup?”

Li Younan looked at Lu Xiaolan and then focused back on the road.

After turning at an intersection, he slowly replied, ”Teaching you makeup isn’t a problem... hmm, now that you’ve graduated from high school and are about to enter college, it’s a good time to learn.”

Li Younan didn’t have any negative views about makeup; for a girl, it was quite an essential skill.

At the very least, dressing up nicely can improve one’s mood.

The conditions at Lu Xiaolan’s home weren’t bad, and their consumer views matched their family conditions.

Plus, makeup skills are not like parkour skills. They involve a lot of knowledge, and while talent and muscle memory are important, it’s a teachable skill.

If he were to teach parkour, he wouldn’t even know where to start.

Seeing that Li Younan agreed, Lu Xiaolan’s eyes lit up even more.

Today’s experience opened a new world for her. She found that she looked stunning with makeup.

If she could learn just a trick or two from her cousin...

But she hesitated for a moment, then casually glanced at her cousin and said, ”Cousin, your makeup skills are so great. Did you really learn it just by experimenting on your ex-girlfriend’s face?”

Li Younan calmly replied, ”What’s wrong? Don’t you believe me?”

Lu Xiaolan thought about it and remembered her cousin’s calm expression, then realized that she’d never seen any feminine items, let alone makeup, in his room or his video feeds.

That ridiculous thought she just had vanished instantly.

She smiled wryly, wondering what she was thinking. Of course, her cousin was straight.

She didn’t say it out loud, though. She sneaked a glance at Li Younan, then guiltily looked out the window, ”I just find it unbelievable that you straight guys learn girls’ skills so quickly.”

By this time, the car had parked steadily in the courtyard of the residential area.

Li Younan unbuckled his seatbelt and knocked Lu Xiaolan on the head, ”Why emphasize... straight guys?”

The knock was a bit hard, and Lu Xiaolan whimpered, then covered her head, pouting, ”That hurts...”

...

In the evening, laughter from her mom and Lu Xiaolan echoed from the living room.

Li Younan stayed alone in his room.

He sent the photos they took that afternoon to Jing Chaoyi to handle some post-editing.

An excellent photographer captures portraits with a depth of feeling.

And an excellent editor can enhance that depth through the mastery of light and color.

The photos taken by a phone with one-click beautification, even if the subject is a beauty, can only be called portraits suited for superficial tastes, but in professional terms, they’re considered less impressive than AI-generated images.
