Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Chapter 97: Chapter 86: Privilege: A Deep Dive [6,200 Words!]

Getting off the bus, a wave of heat greeted them, but the view was wide.

Brother Zhang and Xiaoliu began unloading the equipment and setting up the machines.

Li Younan stretched his joints, watching the line of tourists at the entrance not far away, resembling a slowly moving long dragon, a dense crowd.

There were already many tourists on the square, taking photos and checking in at the monument, craning their necks under the memorial tower.

”Younan, want to touch up your makeup? You’re sweating a lot,” said a little girl responsible for the logistics in the team, approaching with a powder puff.

Li Younan waved his hand: ”No need, no need, I’ll sweat anyway once I start running, better to keep it natural.”

Besides, he really didn’t quite trust their makeup skills.

Xiaoliu came over with the script, pointing to a wide granite staircase alongside a set of low landscape platforms beside the monument: ”Younan, as planned, you’ll start running from here, jump over the landscape platform, and then sprint along this axis. The camera will pull back to capture the full view, framing both the monument and you. The drone will be responsible for the aerial overhead shots. A safety officer will place a cushion below the landscape platform, so don’t worry.”

”Got it.”

Li Younan walked to the starting position and felt the friction of the ground.

Nearby, some tourists noticed the group of people with cameras and work badges, and curiously looked on. A child excitedly pointed at the drone shouting, ”Look, a big plane!”

Their parents were politely kept outside the filming area by the security.

Ready and set, Brother Zhang announced the start.

Li Younan took a deep breath, accelerated down the steps, powered by his feet, easily leaping over the landscape platform. After landing, he took a few steps to buffer before continuing to sprint towards the monument along the central axis.

In his view was the wide square ground and the towering base of the monument ahead.

Running, in the corner of his eye, he could see the tourists stopped nearby, holding up their phones to film both Li Younan and the monument.

This feeling was a bit curious—Li Younan was working here while they were purely here to enjoy.

The place Li Younan ran through, an area ordinary tourists couldn’t enter—had an entirely different perspective.

After completing the shot, they reviewed the footage.

The panoramic view captured by the drone was indeed stunning, with a small human figure swiftly moving in the middle of the vast square, against the backdrop of the solemn monument, with the city skyline in the distance.

Meanwhile, ordinary tourists could only crowd outside the fence of the monument base and gaze upwards.

During a break, Li Younan sat under the shade of a tree, drinking water. Some bold tourists asked across the safety line, ”Hey, filming a movie?”

Li Younan chuckled: ”Just shooting a promotional video.”

”That’s so cool, you can run freely!”

Their tone carried a hint of envy.

Li Younan pointed to his sweat-soaked T-shirt and the pile of equipment nearby: ”It’s all work, gotta listen to the director.”

They laughed heartily.

In the afternoon, they moved to the Wanshou Palace historical and cultural district.

This place was even more crowded.

Li Younan’s small team navigated through the narrow alleys, searching for suitable filming spots.

Brother Zhang and Xiaoliu constantly had to coordinate the flow of people, clearing brief spaces for shooting.

Sometimes, they’d have to wait for several waves of tourists to pass before capturing a shot.

At a relatively quiet alley entrance, they planned to shoot a first-person perspective of Li Younan jumping down from the low wall of an abandoned gate tower, landing on the bluestone road.

Setting up the camera, a nearby green bean soup shop had a long queue.

The shop owner was sweating profusely with the busy workload.

Brother Zhang instructed the little girl: ”Go buy a few bowls of green bean soup for everyone to cool off, get several extra.”

The girl seemed to be an intern.

The girl responded and squeezed into the line. Li Younan leaned against the wall waiting, observing the tourists patiently or impatiently queuing for a bowl of refreshment.

After a while, the girl returned with a plastic tray, filled with several bowls of chilled green bean soup. Everyone got a bowl.

Li Younan took a bowl, sitting on a stone stump next to the shooting point, sipping slowly.

The green bean soup was sweet and refreshing, instantly quenching the summer heat.

Watching the tourists in the alley looking for food and check-in spots, and observing the team beside him adjusting the sports camera, a sense of privilege bubbled up inside, albeit with a touch of petite bliss.

No need to queue, directly enjoying a refreshing treat, filming in closed or non-accessible areas, enjoying moments of tranquility, having professionals solve routes, safety, and composition...

After finishing the green bean soup, the filming continued.

Jumping off the low wall, the bluestone road enlarged rapidly in the sports camera’s view, wind rushing into his ears. Landing firmly, a few gasps and applause could be heard from tourists at the end of the alley.

Li Younan took off his helmet and smiled at them.

...

The final shooting location was the Nanchang Uprising Museum.

This was also the designated check-in location during this trip to Nanchang. Originally, this place wasn’t in the shooting plan; it was Li Younan’s strong suggestion to add it.

After all, it’s a mandatory check-in spot, it had to be done.

When proposing to add the Nanchang Uprising Museum to Yang Hui, Li Younan seemed quite sincere, and Yang Hui was greatly moved.

In this day and age, it’s rare to find such grounded, passionate young people, prompting the coordination and inclusion of this in the plan.

Early evening, the car drove onto Zhongshan Road, and from afar, they saw the silver-gray ”hui” shaped building of Jiangxi Grand Hotel.

Similarly, there was a long line at the entrance, all waiting tourists.

Summer evening, the heat hadn’t dissipated yet, with fans waving and sweat wiped in the queue, the air was filled with the scent of waiting.

Their vehicle didn’t stop; Brother Zhang turned into a nearby small passage expertly.

Xiaoliu greeted the staff at the entrance, showing the Integrated Media Center work badge: ”Filming light show footage.”
