Bizarre Voyage: Summoning The Fourth Crisis

Almost before anyone could react, the Iron-faced Warlock raised its hand, the edge of its palm coated in a sharp Blade of War, and swiftly chopped down at Li Miao’s neck.

SWISH!

Li Miao had no time to react. The Law Knight Armor where his shoulder met his neck was instantly torn open, leaving a huge gash, and a faint pang of pain shot through his chest.

But it wasn’t over. After landing the blow, the Iron-faced Warlock placed its attacking hand behind its back while its other hand immediately prepared to strike Li Miao again!

But by now, Faraway and Brother Yu had reacted.

”Hah!”

With a furious shout, Brother Yu swung his hand at the Iron-faced Warlock, unleashing a Crescent Moon Sword Qi.

Faraway was even faster. Raising the Drowned Hand Bones, he focused his Spirit. Several drowned arms materialized out of the Warfire and clawed at the Iron-faced Warlock.

Meanwhile, Li Miao came to his senses and swung his Greatsword down at the Iron-faced Warlock.

Faced with an attack from multiple sides, the Iron-faced Warlock’s gaze remained cold. It pulled back its hand and brought both palms together to form a triangle. The Warfire instantly flared, and a circular golden Shield rapidly expanded from the center of its chest.

CLANG! BANG!

The very next moment, all three of their attacks landed on the Shield, one after another, ringing out loudly.

Startled, the group prepared to press the attack, but the Iron-faced Warlock had already clasped its hands behind its back. Moving with an extremely bizarre gait that left a trail of afterimages, it returned to its position in front of the Gulard Soldiers.

’This thing...’

Li Miao touched his chest. Wax Oil was steadily flowing out.

That one Executioner’s Hand Blade had wiped out nearly half of his Life Value!

Faraway’s brow furrowed. ”This thing is tricky! We need to coordinate!”

Upon hearing this, Li Miao and Brother Yu quickly abandoned the idea of fighting alone. They moved into formation, their eyes locked on the Iron-faced Warlock and its crowd of Gulard Soldiers.

The Iron-faced Warlock’s tall, slender body emanated a cold-blooded, murderous aura.

The next moment, its cold eyes swept over the three of them. Then, it raised an arm and pointed forward, issuing a command devoid of all emotion.

”Those who dare challenge a Law Enforcer...”

”Exterminate!”

”ROAR!”

In the next instant, the Gulard Soldiers let out a Battle Cry and fearlessly launched a fierce charge at the trio.

The trio remained unfazed by the onslaught.

Brother Yu and Li Miao defended from the front, while Faraway roamed in the rear, dealing damage and looking for an opening to use the Flower of Drowning’s Magic for support.

However, the Iron-faced Warlock was clearly not idle either.

Its swift footwork and terrifyingly lethal Executioner’s Hand Blade were constantly fixed on Faraway; it launched dozens of attacks against him in an incredibly short amount of time!

SWISH!

Faraway dodged the hand blade by a hair’s breadth. As he evaded, he channeled the Drowned Hand Bones, launching a Ghost Claw to counterattack and force the Warlock back.

Moreover, whenever the Iron-faced Warlock tried to attack Li Miao or Brother Yu, Faraway was always able to promptly restrain and interrupt it.

It could be said that Faraway, from his position in the rear, was single-handedly absorbing all the pressure from the Iron-faced Warlock.

Even so, he was far from comfortable. He had sustained a few injuries, but none were fatal.

The Soldiers on the Gulard Warship were clearly no match for Li Miao and Brother Yu; their numbers were dwindling rapidly!

SWISH!

Seeing that only a few Gulard Soldiers were left, Li Miao and Brother Yu pressed their advantage, mowing down the remaining ones.

After cutting down the last Defender Captain, Li Miao and Brother Yu were finally free to focus their attention on the Iron-faced Warlock.

”Pin it down!”

Faraway keenly noted the change in the situation, quickly formulated a plan, and shouted calmly.

Li Miao and Brother Yu instantly understood. One unleashed a Crescent Moon Sword Qi, while the other moved to the opposite side and began charging a Gulard Heavy Strike.

Facing the three-pronged assault, the Iron-faced Warlock used an Execution Step to appear beside Li Miao. The hand it had kept behind its back finally came forward, conjuring a Law Protection to defend itself.

CLANG!

The fully charged Gulard Heavy Strike landed, making the Greatsword tremble violently. The Shield from the Law Protection dimmed considerably.

Just as the Iron-faced Warlock dropped its Shield and prepared its next move, several Hands of the Drowned seized its arms and ankles!

With a loud shout, Li Miao swung his sword at its neck.

At the same moment, Brother Yu charged forward and thrust his sword straight at its heart!

Any one of these three possessed the formidable strength to solo a Law Knight.

And although the Iron-faced Warlock was much trickier to deal with than a Law Knight, even with the help of numerous Gulard Soldiers, it could only meet a bitter end before this top-tier, three-man squad.

Furthermore, for all its powerful Attack Power and Agility, its Constitution and Life Value were clearly its weak points.

[You have slain the Iron-faced Warlock]

[The special near-shore monster ”Iron-faced Warlock” has been cleared. This monster will reset after a period of time.]

As the kill notification appeared, Brother Yu pulled his sword from the creature’s heart.

THUD!

The Iron-faced Warlock sank weakly to one knee, its body turning to Ashes and beginning to dissipate.

Yet even in the final second before it dissipated, its posture remained ramrod straight, maintaining its solemn and elegant bearing.

”Lawbreaker...”

Seeing it finally die, Li Miao and Brother Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief.

The feeling this Iron-faced Warlock gave off was completely different from a Law Knight.

A Law Knight exuded pure, oppressive force, whereas the Iron-faced Warlock was more like a cold, ruthless assassin, liable to deliver a Lethal Strike at any moment.

But thankfully, it was finally toast.
