Bizarre Voyage: Summoning The Fourth Crisis

Meanwhile, Mushroom’s message in the group chat had naturally caught the attention of many.

When Brother Mangzi, who was patrolling a passageway, heard the news, his eyes lit up.

He immediately dropped everything and rushed straight for the Open-pit Mine’s elevator.

But after standing on it for barely two seconds, he smacked his forehead.

’I think there was a Stone Man up there that needed a decree. I’d better go get it.’

At that thought, Brother Mangzi hastily scrambled into the Exile Mine. A short while later, he had the decree in hand and was back on the elevator.

’Perfect timing to try out my new Weapon.’

Brother Mangzi chuckled, placed his Bloodstained Great Axe into his inventory, and then pulled out a pair of jet-black Finger Tigers, slipping them onto his hands.

SWISH! SWISH!

After throwing a couple of practice punches, he nodded in satisfaction.

He happened to be a combat sports practitioner in real life, so he had plenty of experience and they felt quite natural to use.

’Now let’s see who dares to call me a caveman.’

Brother Mangzi thought.

Because Brother Mangzi had started the game with a club and a loincloth, he was often the butt of jokes from Li Miao and the others.

But now, he fought with his fists!

Before long, Brother Mangzi reached Exile Peak. The Black Stone Gatekeeper, which only recognized the decree, was a non-issue; Brother Mangzi wasn’t foolish enough to not use an item he had.

After walking up to the Spirit Candle and lighting it, Brother Mangzi looked toward the fortress interior.

[Battle Bliss]

[Tier: Embers]

[Level: 15]

[Warfire: Warrior]

[Ability Value: ...]

[Talent: Heavy Strike]

[Ability: Dodge, Recovery Wax Block]

[Skill: Bone Fork Throwing]

That’s right, Brother Mangzi’s information panel was just that simple. He only had one Skill and hadn’t even learned Knight Charge. He had managed to acquire Gulard Heavy Strike, but he hadn’t learned it yet.

As for his Level, he had raised it quite a bit thanks to the Living Corpses on the Pillaging Ship.

As for his Ability Values, he had poured almost all of them into Power, with the small remainder going to Constitution.

He just needed enough to not get one-shot by monsters.

Brother Mangzi stretched his joints, but they didn’t make a sound, which disappointed him slightly.

He then stepped into the passageway and entered the fortress.

As the hoarse voice of the Law Knight ahead of him rang out, the battle... officially began!

”ROAR—”

The Law Knight, as always, opened with King’s Battle Cry.

Anyone might deceive you, but a Law Knight’s opening move never will!

But Brother Mangzi wasn’t just standing around watching.

The moment the Law Knight turned its head, he was already closing in at top speed. By the time it let out its roar, Brother Mangzi was beside it, the muscles in his arms tensed, his Warfire burning fiercely, Ready to Strike.

Veins bulged on his forehead, his eyes blazing with berserk battlelust as he suddenly threw a punch!

”Hah!”

There was no Combat Skill to augment it—just a simple, crude, charged-up haymaker!

The next moment, the Storm Finger Tiger collided violently with the hard Knight’s Helmet...

BAM—

The Law Knight’s Battle Cry came to an abrupt halt, directly interrupted by Brother Mangzi.

Under the immense force, its towering figure swayed, and it stumbled back several steps before steadying itself.

That one Heavy Strike had taken off nearly a tenth of its Blood Volume!

”Again!”

Brother Mangzi’s eyes were filled with excitement as he once again closed the distance and attacked the Law Knight.

The feeling of fist meeting flesh was intoxicating. The realistic sense of impact fed back through his five senses stirred the purest impulse from the depths of his soul!

’It’s too real...’

’Finally, I can...’

’Finally, I can let loose and throw my whole being into a fight...’

’Either kill my opponent, or... be killed by my opponent!’

”Die!”

At this moment, Battle Bliss’s eyes were filled with a craving for combat. The violent desire that had been pent up for so long was finally, completely unleashed.

And the Law Knight before him was the perfect outlet!

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

He roared, venting, the muscles of his arms like machinery driven by a perpetual motion machine, erupting with endless power and momentum.

The Warfire on his body blazed, growing ever more intense!

THUD, THUD, THUD...

Because it had been caught off guard at the start, the Law Knight took two more solid punches. Although the damage wasn’t high, the drop in its Life Value was still clearly visible.

It then raised its Large Shield, firmly blocking Brother Mangzi’s fists.

The next moment, it found an opening. Its Warfire flared, and it fiercely swung its Greatsword, striking Brother Mangzi, who was lost in his own assault.

BAM!

The sounds of the assault ceased. Brother Mangzi’s body was sent flying backward like a cannonball, tracing an afterimage in the air before crashing through a brazier with a loud BANG.

”...Ptooey!”

Brother Mangzi spat out a mouthful of dust. His eyes had cleared a little, but he was still incredibly excited.

After taking that solid hit, he could clearly feel that his Blood Volume was dangerously low. Moreover, a huge gash had been torn open at his waist.

He popped a Recovery Wax Block into his mouth and exhaled.

Awesome!

Meanwhile, the Law Knight on the other side charged forward, swinging its Greatsword and Shield, giving him no opportunity to catch his breath.

It was the Law Knight’s turn to attack, but Brother Mangzi was clearly no pushover. Even while dodging and risking getting hit, he had to counterattack!

BAM!

After several more fierce exchanges, Brother Mangzi found an opening and once again landed a charged punch squarely on its waist!

BOOM!

This time, the Law Knight’s balance was completely shattered, and it lost its center of gravity, crashing heavily to the ground.

Seeing this, Brother Mangzi gave a savage grin, quickly moved to the Law Knight’s side, and his body erupted in blazing Warfire!

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG—

This time, the unbalanced Law Knight could no longer raise its Shield to defend itself. It could only take Brother Mangzi’s Heavy Strikes one after another, directly to the head, its Blood Bar dropping rapidly.

Suddenly!

The Law Knight let out a sharp roar, dropped its Large Shield, and sent Brother Mangzi flying back with a single punch.

Brother Mangzi was about to press forward and capitalize on his advantage, but he suddenly stopped, a flicker of bewildered surprise in his eyes.

”Fil...th...”

The Law Knight suddenly roared, its right hand gripping its left arm tightly.

Only then did Brother Mangzi abruptly notice a sticky mixture of flesh, blood, and fluid oozing from the gaps in the Law Knight’s left Arm Armor.

It looked just like a pile of Rotten sludge, horrifying and disgusting.

The Law Knight let out a pained roar and collapsed uncontrollably to its knees.

The Rot, it seemed, was gradually spreading within its body.

This development was also causing its Blood Volume to drop continuously. Before long, it would probably die from this abnormal condition.

Brother Mangzi watched this scene, his brow tightly furrowed.

After a moment, he put away his Finger Tigers, took out the Bloodstained Great Axe, and slowly advanced.

The Law Knight was tormented by pain, completely unable to pay him any mind. If he were to strike now, he could quickly end its suffering.

Holding the Bloodstained Great Axe, Brother Mangzi let out a sharp yell and swung the axe down fiercely.

THWACK!

The Great Axe fell, blood flowed, and what fell with it was a Knight’s arm, writhing with Rotten flesh.

Much of the pain vanished from the Law Knight’s roars.

Seeing that it wasn’t completely dead yet, Brother Mangzi breathed a small sigh of relief.

CLANG!

He tossed the Greatsword in front of it. Brother Mangzi then turned, created some distance, and raised his fists, facing it.

”Continue, Knight!”

”Get up and die in battle!”

Brother Mangzi took a deep breath, then shouted with a solemn gaze.

He didn’t know if it could understand him, nor did he know why the Law Knight had suddenly developed such an abnormal condition.

He only knew that it was a worthy opponent, and it deserved a warrior’s dignity and honor!

SCRAPE...

The Law Knight’s Knight’s Helmet slowly lifted.

Perhaps it didn’t understand. Perhaps it lacked the sanity to comprehend the actions of the person before it.

But a warrior’s instinct drove it to extend its remaining hand, grasp the hilt of the Greatsword, and slowly rise to its feet.

Blood continued to fall, but its will to fight soared higher!

”ROAR!”

With two Battle Cries that rang out in unison, both sides launched a final charge at their opponent!
