Bizarre Voyage: Summoning The Fourth Crisis

Storyteller: ”You mean you wore the Law Knight to death with your sword?!”

Brother Yu was a bit confused by Storyteller’s question.

Never Air Force Fisherman: ”Yeah, what’s wrong? Is that not right? Is there some special way to beat it?”

Storyteller: ”...Brother Yu, just scroll up and read the chat history.”

「A moment later.」

Never Air Force Fisherman: ”...”

...

While the players were busy strategizing against the Law Knight, Luo Ge also braved the powerful repulsion to kill a Law Knight, successfully obtaining its Fire Seed.

Although this trip consumed a great deal of Wax Oil, after getting the Fire Seed, Luo Ge received more feedback from the Spirit Candle.

’This transformed Warfire...’

The Law Knight’s type of Warfire was undoubtedly special.

According to the feedback from the Spirit Candle, the emergence of this special Warfire came from constant refinement and trial, which made it possible for it to self-awaken and transform into this kind of Warfire with a ”special quality.”

In addition to the requirements for Talent, strength was also an indispensable condition.

Simply put, if someone was exceptionally talented, they would find it easy to ignite their Warfire, but they wouldn’t necessarily be able to transform it into this kind of special Warfire.

Those who could completely autonomously transform their Warfire into a special Warfire were, without exception, heaven-sent prodigies who possessed a combination of talent, luck, and strength.

However, the Law Knight’s Warfire had clearly not transformed autonomously.

This was evident from the various pieces of information it left behind.

The reason its Warfire was able to transform stemmed from an oath sworn under the ”Gulard Law”...

As for Fire Ignition, Luo Ge received no feedback.

But the Spirit Candle was able to use its mysterious power to preserve the Law Knight’s Fire Seed after death, making it compatible with a Candle Spirit Body so that players could also obtain the bonus from the transformed Warfire...

Luo Ge was currently in the Law Knight’s fortress, browsing through some books.

In the middle of his thoughts, he suddenly stopped what he was doing.

He heard a summons.

After his body merged into the Spirit Candle, Luo Ge quickly arrived at his destination, appearing in an ethereal form beside the Spirit Candle.

Seeing the Candlekeeper appear, Li Miao’s eyes lit up.

He was currently on Exile Peak, having just killed the Law Knight, and was still holding the Fire Seed.

’I was too lazy to run back so I tried calling him, I can’t believe the Candlekeeper actually showed up.’

”Candlekeeper, I have a question.”

Li Miao asked hurriedly, holding up the Fire Seed in his hand.

”Our Attributes... they can be changed, right?”

”The Spirit Candle has the power to reshape a Candle Spirit Body, but after reshaping, you would need to reignite your Warfire. The cost is considerable, and... the Spirit Candle is not yet capable of performing the reshaping,” Luo Ge said.

’I don’t plan on enabling that function just yet.’

”Then what about the Warfire from this Fire Seed after Fire Ignition?”

”It will disappear. To get it again, you would need to acquire a new Fire Seed.”

Upon hearing this, Li Miao scratched his head, then glanced at the Law Knight’s Fire Seed in his hand.

’To be honest, ever since the Wooden Staff appeared, I’ve been thinking about changing my class, but it’s just been a thought.’

As if sensing his hesitation, Luo Ge spoke again, his voice calm.

”Every path to power has a different view, and different flaws. Finding the path that suits you is what’s most important.”

After speaking, Luo Ge gave a slight smile, and his figure began to fade.

「After he left.」

Li Miao still looked conflicted, but after a moment, he shook his head. ”Forget it. A Knight is a Knight. If I change to a squishy class, I’ll die in just a few hits.”

Then, he picked up the Law Knight’s Fire Seed.

[You have chosen to introduce Fire Seed·Law Knight (Initial Stage).]

[Your compatibility with this Warfire is: 100%]

[Fire Ignition in progress...]

One prompt appeared after another.

The Law Knight’s Fire Seed in Li Miao’s hand suddenly flared to life.

The scales and the sword formed a stable, illusory triangle. The sigil of Gulard shone, black and gold light intertwining as it slowly converged on Li Miao’s chest.

The next moment, the ordinary Warfire within his body also floated out and began to gradually fuse with it.

A moment later, a newly formed Law Knight’s Fire Seed returned to Li Miao’s chest, causing his entire body to erupt in a dark golden light...

And most importantly, Li Miao’s body actually began to slowly grow taller, bigger, and more robust.

This transformation only stopped when he reached about two and a half meters tall, at which point the light faded.

[Fire Ignition successful!]

[Warfire has been changed to: Law Knight]

[Your Power +2, Constitution +5]

[New Talent ”Proof of the Law” and new Skill ”Law Oath” have been added.]

[Law Oath: Silently recite the oath under the Gulard Law, consuming a small amount of Physical Strength. A sacred and great power will wash over your body, clearing one negative status effect from yourself.]

[Your body has changed under the influence of the Warfire. Your Power has slightly increased, and your Constitution has moderately increased.]

[Your body has changed under the influence of the Warfire. You can consume your own Physical Strength to alter it at will.]

”Haaaah...”

The surging power and boiling sensation in his body almost made Li Miao want to roar, but he ultimately just let out a breath and brought it under control.

”I feel like I could kill a bull with one punch right now!”

Li Miao threw an excited punch.

...Actually, he didn’t even need that kind of description. After all, even without the bonus from the Law Knight’s Fire Seed, his Candle Spirit Body could indeed kill a bull...

”Huh?”

Suddenly, Li Miao noticed something was off.

”Why did the fortress door get smaller?”

He was a little puzzled. Then he glanced at the Spirit Candle beside him and saw that it had gotten smaller too.

Only then did it dawn on him. He looked down at his own body, his eyes widening.

”Holy shit, I got taller?!”

”Awesome! I can’t believe this Fire Seed has this function!”

”At this height, if I put on the Law Knight Armor Set... wouldn’t I look just like a real Law Knight?”

Other players might not have met the requirements yet, but his Attributes were more than enough to wear the Law Knight Armor Set.

At this thought, an idea sparked in Li Miao’s mind...

...

「Candle Island, Spirit Fire Port.」

A player who had just bought a Spirit Fire Raft and was preparing to depart stepped onto it.

Suddenly, he froze, squinting as if he had seen something.

A moment later, a look of terror crossed his face. He scrambled back onto the Spirit Fire Port and started shouting.

”Bros! We’re in deep trouble! The boss from Exile Island is invading!!!”

”The hell?”

A crowd of dumbfounded players rushed over to the Spirit Fire Port.

Sure enough, in the distance, a burly Knight clad in Heavy Armor with dark gold trim was riding a Spirit Fire Raft toward Candle Island...

He held a Law Greatsword and a Large Shield, looking exactly like the pictures posted on the forums by the master player Niuniu.

”Holy crap! It’s really invading? Is this a major event or some special storyline?”

”Something’s not right. How can a Law Knight ride a Spirit Fire Raft...”

”...It couldn’t be one of the top players, could it?”

”No way, absolutely impossible! I tried during character creation, and there’s no way to make your character that tall.”

”...”

”...No, wait, it has to be a top player!” one sharp-eyed player said with certainty. ”He’s wearing a Ghost Cloak around his neck!”

”You’re right!”

The other players noticed this as well.

Just as they said, Li Miao, the center of everyone’s attention, gradually approached the Spirit Fire Port.

Then, he took a sudden leap. His heavy body landed on the Spirit Fire Port with a THUD, and he dropped into a half-kneel.

A moment later, he slowly stood up, gave the crowd a calm nod, and then turned to leave.

The string of his player ID above his head was particularly conspicuous.

”Holy crap...”

”It really is the master player Brother Miao...”

”How can he dress exactly like the Law Knight? So fucking cool...”

A group of noob players, who were still farming Fish People, looked on with such envy that their eyes almost popped out of their heads.

”HAHAHAHAHA...”

Beneath his Knight’s Face Armor, Li Miao’s mouth was stretched in a grin from ear to ear as he laughed wildly to himself.
