I Married the President

Chapter 114: Chapter 114: Three A-Cups Dare to Be Arrogant in Front of a D-Cup

She was a conservative girl with a soft spot for all things cute. She didn’t even spare a glance for the sexier lingerie, her eyes immediately drawn to a youthful, powder-blue set.

Just as she reached out to take it down for a closer look, someone behind her gasped. ”Hey, isn’t that Claire Sinclair? What’s she doing in a high-end lingerie store like this? Hell must’ve frozen over!”

”Heh. A hick buying high-end lingerie? She’s either got a sugar daddy or she’s finally decided to stop being a country bumpkin and start acting like she’s rich and beautiful.”

”Her, rich and beautiful? Please. Look at the style she’s eyeing. Not only is the color tacky, but it’s a clearance item from last year that nobody wanted. With taste like that? ’Rich and beautiful’? That’s hilarious.”

The taunts were so loud and unrestrained that it was impossible for Claire Sinclair to pretend she hadn’t heard them.

The three women were her former college classmates. They had all been head over heels for Logan Linden, so when they saw Claire start dating him, they began to constantly badmouth and slander her around campus. Thanks to them, her reputation had been terrible.

’Some enemies you just can’t avoid.’

Claire Sinclair let her gaze sweep pointedly over their flat chests. With a meaningful smile, she said, ”Three A-cups, acting so smug in front of a D-cup. How amusing.”

It was as if she’d struck a nerve. The three women instantly bristled.

”You? A D-cup? Yeah, right!”

”Haha, that’s the funniest joke I’ve ever heard! Claire Sinclair, a D-cup? Do you believe that?”

”If she’s a D-cup, I’ll buy the store’s showpiece and give it to her. As it happens, only someone with a D-cup can wear it.”

Claire Sinclair smiled coldly. ”Sharon Lynch, if I am a D-cup, are you sure you’re going to buy me that showpiece?”

Sharon Lynch crossed her arms, her face a mask of scorn. ”Prove you have a D-cup first!”

Claire Sinclair turned to a sales associate. ”Excuse me, you offer fittings here, don’t you?”

The sales associate hadn’t planned on paying Claire Sinclair any mind, but sensing some drama, her curiosity got the better of her. She walked over and said, ”We don’t need to measure. You say you’re a D-cup, so just try on a D-cup bra over your clothes.”

Claire Sinclair said, ”Then could you please get me a D-cup to try?”

The sales associate casually grabbed a featured style from the ”Black Seduction” line. ”Here,” she said, handing it to her. ”This is a 34D. You’re so slim, you must be a 34 band, right?”

”You have a great eye.” Claire Sinclair smiled, took the bra, and started to put it on right there over her clothes.

Because she put it on without taking off her shirt, the bra seemed too small; the clasps wouldn’t meet, no matter how she tried.

Seeing this, Sharon Lynch had a bad feeling.

’This hick... she’s actually a D-cup...’

’No, she didn’t even take her shirt off. She’s probably wearing a super-padded bra underneath!’

Sharon Lynch snapped, ”Claire Sinclair, stop messing around. Take off your own bra and try that one on properly. I don’t believe you’re a D-cup.”

”Yeah, I don’t believe it either.”

Silently, Claire Sinclair walked into the fitting room. She took off the old, worn-out bra she had on and put on the one from the ”Black Seduction” line.

To her surprise, the bra not only fit perfectly, but it was also incredibly comfortable and looked quite beautiful.

The only issue was that it was too revealing—the top half of the cups was completely sheer, and she wasn’t used to wearing such revealing lingerie.

’Sigh. If it weren’t so sheer, I would have actually bought it...’

Just as she was lost in thought, Sharon Lynch’s impatient voice called from outside, ”Claire Sinclair, are you done in there?”

”I’m ready,” Claire Sinclair called back. She pulled her T-shirt back on, opened the fitting room door, and poked her head out. ”Do you want to come over and check?”
