Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

”Retreat. There’s an ambush! Cover Mr. Cobra. Leave this to me and Luke!”

Xia Jinyuan, who was almost shot, growled coldly. At this moment, he was still a loyal subordinate of Cobra like Luke. They had to cover Cobra and let him leave safely.

Cobra was shielded by his personal bodyguards. When he heard Xia Jinyuan’s low growl, he rolled to the door frame of a room. His back was pressed tightly against the closed door. His breathing was not messy as he said coldly to one of his personal bodyguards, ”Ask Xia to come back. The rest will take over.”

Xia was a very good subordinate. He was loyal and capable. With him by his side, he would feel more at ease.

’The rest’ would be the ones covering Cobra’s retreat.

This time, it was Luke and another bodyguard who broke out of the encirclement. Xia Jinyuan became the bodyguard. At this moment, Luke was very satisfied that he could break out of the encirclement. He led Cobra step by step toward the corridor where the Russian Signal Flag special forces were lying in ambush.

The two special forces soldiers, who were suppressed by the firepower and couldn’t come out, tied their escape ropes around their waists and jumped out of the window. They stepped on the railings used by the hotel to plant flowers. Then, the two of them nimbly crossed several railings and finally chose the windowsill of a room.

The sound of glass shattering was heard. The two of them used their legs to break the glass. Amidst two screams, they entered a room where there were tourists.

Hearing the gunshots outside, the two young women hiding by the bed screamed when they saw two black shadows suddenly breaking through the window. They were already trembling in fear from the gunshots.

The Russian special forces soldiers who landed on the ground whispered, ”Don’t be afraid.” The two of them quickly ran to the door. One of the special forces soldiers placed his ear close to the door and gestured with his hand. ”One, two, three.” He suddenly pulled open the door and fired.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The NATO-made rifle bullets tore through the air and mercilessly hit the guys covering Cobra’s retreat, including a personal bodyguard.

”Shit!”

Luke cursed in a low voice. It was unknown who he was scolding, but he finally fired.

Cobra’s expression was dark. This group of people that came out of nowhere had quite a strong combat ability. Moreover, they were clearly coming for him.

”Xia, leave this to them. You cover me as I leave.” Cobra’s cold voice came from behind Xia Jinyuan. ”These damned fellows, their target is me.”

At this moment, Xia Jinyuan’s back was pressed tightly against Cobra. He was using his body to protect Cobra’s safety.

The unsightly bullet flashed across his eyes and landed somewhere. The top of his leather shoes was hit by the bullet casing.

Hearing this, Xia Jinyuan said in a low voice, ”Luke and I will cover you. Nothing will happen!”

He would definitely not let anything happen to himself. He still had to return to the country unscathed.

Luke, who was in combat, didn’t hear what Xia Jinyuan said. Seeing that several more people who were covering the retreat had fallen, the darkness in Luke’s eyes deepened.

The firepower in front had been cut off. Luke knew that it was time for him to lure Cobra away again. He brought Cobra along and retreated step by step into the trap that the Russians had already laid out.

”Hurry up and leave!”

He said in a low voice and quickly changed to a new magazine.

The Russian Signal Flag special forces soldiers saw their targets gradually approaching. They held their breaths. They were just waiting for them to come down from upstairs.
