Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

He Jing, who passed the water bottle over, was still thinking about the sweet smile that Ye Jian revealed in her dream just now. They had been classmates for three years, but He Jing had never seen Ye Jian smile so sweetly. He Jing really couldn’t resist her curiosity. She half-squatted and moved to Ye Jian’s side with her knees bent. She nudged Ye Jian with her shoulder and asked with a small voice and a smile, ”What kind of sweet dream did you have just now? You were laughing until your teeth were revealed. It was as if you had drunk honey. It must’ve been a sweet dream, right?”

The stream flowed into the bottle. After a while, the entire bottle was filled. Ye Jian picked up the wet bottle and twisted the lid. She turned her head and looked at He Jing. Her fair face turned pink like the tip of a lotus flower. ”Did you laugh? Did you make a sound?”

…

It couldn’t be. She hadn’t reached the stage where she would laugh in her dreams, right?

Ye Jian thought of the sweetness of reuniting after a long time in her dream. She thought of the man she loved deeply in her dream holding her face gently with both hands. He had been looking at her deeply with his dark eyes that were filled with love. Then, he slowly lowered his head and leaned closer. Ye Jian felt her cheeks burning.

He Jing saw that Ye Jian was blushing shyly. She suddenly understood.

She said teasingly, ”Amazing, amazing. Did you have a wet dream?”

A wet dream?

Ye Jian was so embarrassed that her face felt hot. ”What are you talking about? That’s not true.” He didn’t even kiss her. How could it be called a wet dream?

Besides, wasn’t a wet dream something like… that? Even if he kissed her and didn’t do anything else, that wouldn’t be considered a wet dream.

”Not true? There’s clearly something going on. Look at your eyes. They’re filled with love. Look at your smile. You look like a young lady in love.” He Jing had been in a relationship before. As someone who had been in a relationship before, she guessed that Ye Jian must have dreamed of her mysterious boyfriend.

She smiled teasingly. Ye Jian was so embarrassed that the faint pink on her cheeks became more vivid. Her beauty stunned He Jing for a moment.

Amidst the green mountains and rivers, Ye Jian’s beauty was like a flower blooming in the wind. She was so beautiful that she seemed to have stepped out of a painting. She was so beautiful that she was enticing. Every frown and smile of hers was gorgeous.

He Jing couldn’t help but swallow her saliva. She wanted to touch Ye Jian’s face.

And she did.

Ye Jian looked at her comrade who was in a daze as she reached out to touch her face. She blinked and asked He Jing, ”Why? Is there something on my face?”

”Your face, it’s so stunning. I feel that I’ve been blessed when I touch it. This feeling… is too good. It’s just like a peeled egg. It’s tender and smooth.” He Jing sighed as she touched Ye Jian’s face. ”Little Jian, your boyfriend is so lucky. Your skin is a treasure!”

He Jing had always been steady and rarely said such teasing words. Ye Jian, who was suddenly taken advantage of by her, hurriedly grabbed He Jing’s hand that was still touching her face and glared at her. ”There are many peeled eggs in the cafeteria. I’ll peel them for you later and let you touch them as much as you want.”

”No, no, no. Touching the eggs won’t be the same as touching you.” He Jing knew when to stop. When she saw Ye Jian’s face turning red, she knew that if she continued teasing her… they would definitely attract Xu Wen, who would want to stir up trouble.
