Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Not one of them? Who was it, then?

Cobra didn’t have the time to think about who was outside. He only knew that he was in danger and had to leave immediately.

”Take good care of the Chinese ambassador. I hope that I can meet the Chinese ambassador again tonight.” Cobra stood up and instructed Luke and Xia Jinyuan. He waved his hand and gestured for the four bodyguards beside him to cover him and leave.

The gunshots outside were especially chaotic. The guests in the various rooms were already trembling in fear. They didn’t dare to go out or stay in their rooms. Countless people started to think of ways to protect themselves.

Some used the couch to block the door, some hid in the closet, some hid in the bathroom, and some boldly climbed out of the window. Their legs were trembling, and they felt as if they would fall at any moment.

The hotel was already on alert. The government forces in the city rushed to the hotel. They needed to rescue the local officials and most importantly, the ambassador from China.

The mayor of the city was resting at home. When he heard that there was a riot in the hotel, he rushed back to the government office without even wearing his jacket.

All the armed government forces and police officers rushed to the hotel at an urgent speed. This was a premeditated riot. They needed to kill all the people who started the riot and find the mastermind.

The alarm in the entire city was sounded. All the transportation entrances to the hotel were sealed off. The location was heavily guarded. The entire city was on high alert.

Cobra’s bodyguard looked at the police cars parked below the hotel. The police lights were flashing. He lowered the curtain and ran to Cobra, who was preparing to retreat. He said a few words in a low voice.

Xia Jinyuan didn’t notice it. He had already tightened his grip on the loaded pistol and was preparing to break out.

”Xia, stand beside me.” Luke suddenly said in a low voice, ”You cover Mr. Cobra. I’ll break out.”

He thought that he needed to send his best partner out of the hotel. Now, he really regretted not letting his partner leave in advance.

Xia Jinyuan glanced at Luke and silently retreated to the side.

He needed to return to his country safely, and Luke was indeed his best shield.

Luke immediately took over Xia Jinyuan’s position. His cold gaze swept past Cobra, who was sitting on the couch again. The gun in his hand made Luke want to shoot Cobra several times.

He had wanted to do this countless times, but in the end, his rationality would prevail and he would resist the urge.

Outside, the gunshots were especially intense. When the rioters arranged by Cobra realized that they were falling one by one, they immediately understood that a group of people who were against them had infiltrated the hotel.

Cobra, who was sitting on the couch, was talking to the highest-ranking administrator of the city. He was very angry and accused the government of inaction. His voice was almost roaring. ”Is this how you manage your city? You’ve put me in danger!

”Do you know why I’m here? I came to the beach because I wanted to invest in a huge tourism project. In the end, such a thing happened. Listen, I want the government forces to come and protect me immediately! Send people over here right now!”

After Cobra finished roaring, he didn’t give the other party a chance to speak. He immediately ended the call. The anger on his face disappeared like a tide, and in the blink of an eye, it changed to a bone-chilling expression.
