Three Towers Game

Chapter 398: Chapter 132 Desire Tower is So Fun_3

Wen Xishu still remembered the scene where he was besieged by two Takahashi Fumihikos, inside and outside the door.

”Then, there’s still the delivery guy... his ability is related to stealing.”

”The doctor... the doctor seems the most likely. The doctor and the gourmet can both bestow people with directional evolution. At least the congressman and the destroyer hope to have such abilities...”

The hospital is most likely the place closest to the truth.

But Wen Xishu thought for a moment:

”No... first of all, the doctor had rumors of ’frightening experiments’ a long time ago.”

”And the distance of the hospital is at the edge of the island, while the distance of the mountain temple is at the other end of the island. It’s extremely difficult to traverse.”

”Moreover, in a certain sense, being able to deceive Master Lingqing seems more like ’possession’ rather than transformation. If I head to the hospital now...”

Thinking about the monsters in the hospital, Wen Xishu was really worried he’d be trapped there.

He immediately ruled out the doctor.

”Then there’s only the scavenger left. His ability... is parasitism.”

Based on the information obtained in the Deceit Tower, there is very little intel on the scavenger—he carries out parasitism under the guise of scavenging for stolen goods.

Wen Xishu had seen a movie about a poor man who used various deceptions to get his family one by one to live in a rich man’s house, taking over the roles of maid, driver, tutor...

It seemed to be about the poor parasitizing the rich, but in reality, it was a movie about the rich parasitizing the vast society built by the poor.

This made Wen Xishu initially think... the scavenger’s parasites might be hidden in the house.

But now, he suddenly wondered if it was possible this parasitism was the most primitive, literal kind, purely biological without any metaphor?

”Not sure yet, but following the process of elimination, this is the only thing I can do.”

Wen Xishu no longer hesitated and decisively fled from the ”Evolutionary Restaurant.” Based on the previously obtained information, the scavenger’s location was at the junkyard.

The Compass could actually guide Wen Xishu to the target, but there was a margin of error. The more information he had, the more precise the guidance. Thus, Wen Xishu needed to acquire information from various sources, to compare and make the Compass’s direction more accurate.

Wen Xishu quickly arrived on the main street. The death of the gourmet Watanabe Fumio was still unknown; everything on the street was peaceful.

Wen Xishu quickly inquired about the location of the junkyard.

Wen Xishu had a clear grasp of things because when he recalled the face of the destroyer in his mind...

The Compass needle pointed precisely in the direction of the junkyard.

Destroyer’s Nemesis·Wen Xishu started sprinting towards the junkyard.

...

...

Rokkasho. Junkyard.

The junkyard was built on the edge of Rokkasho. Even though people had already been influenced by radiation and mutated into strange and grotesque forms, they still found the junkyard to be a very smelly place.

Only the scavenger had gotten used to the smell here since he was very young.

In the radiated junkyard, cockroaches were as big as a human forearm, looking larger than cats and dogs.

The delivery guy occasionally passed by here, providing the gourmet with some special grilled food ingredients.

It was said that in Guang City, Longxia area, there was a kind of grilled cockroach dish. Local people loved it.

No one could have imagined that amidst the giant cockroaches covering the ground and the mountains of garbage... there was an exceptionally clean three-story small building that isolated all smells.

This was the ”Destroyer”—Hoshino Houshi’s operating room.

Here, he could use the scavenger Kinoshita Kyūhei’s ability to become anyone on the island.

The scavenger’s ability was also discovered by Hoshino Houshi not long ago.

For Hoshino Houshi, this radiation-filled island was simply a treasure trove.

He was originally trapped in a loop, thinking he had no future and no past.

But later, he found infinite fun hidden in the ”present” of the loop.

He forgot how many loops he had gone through.

Hoshino couldn’t even remember... who he really was. He only knew it was a game.

In this game, he was the absolute god.

Here, he did many things that enraged both gods and people.

In the first round, he accidentally drowned.

In the second round, he learned to swim and found he could be reborn, so he went to Hujiang, thinking of striving hard.

So, he hooked up with a married woman in Hujiang, which resulted in... being discovered by the woman’s husband.

The husband then killed both of them. His body was thrown into the river by the woman’s husband, while the woman’s body was hidden in the attic by the man.

Later, a mage appeared and discovered the woman’s body, resulting in her husband being caught.

They even made a movie about it.

Of course... the movie was suggested by Hoshino in the third loop. By the third loop, Hoshino had started to gradually become perverted, using his experience from the second loop, having another man seduce that woman the same way he did.

The two got together, and then Hoshino called the woman’s husband.

Thus Hoshino saw that unlucky guy suffer the same fate he did.

Hoshino laughed heartily, feeling that a broken life was really interesting.

But soon he met a man he found very interesting—Master Lingqing.

Unexpectedly, this man also knew the script... knew there was a woman’s body in the attic.

It was at this moment that Hoshino targeted Master Lingqing.
