Three Towers Game

Chapter 372: Revised: Chapter 128 The True Essence of Rokkasho Games

Mariko’s flirtatiousness has now become a fatal thing.

Wen Xishu said:

”Mariko, I am very tired. Why don’t we wait until I wake up?”

Mariko’s hair was almost completely entwined around Wen Xishu. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Wen Xishu looked like a ”mummy” wrapped in black hair.

But at this time, he still spoke very calmly and with a sense of fatigue:

”In this situation, it’s just a superficial act. What’s the point in that?”

”Let’s wait until I am full of energy.”

Mariko looked at Wen Xishu, clearly not intending to let him go so easily. Wen Xishu then said:

”Although I’ve promised you that our intimacy would escalate, your one-sided demands are quite disrespectful to me. I’m a bit disappointed. Is there no consideration at all in love?”

Wen Xishu looked very much like a husband unwilling to fulfill his marital duties, attempting to use moral coercion:

”I thought our love was still pure like Plato’s ideal. I never expected you were just greedy for physical desire.”

”Perhaps you don’t love me at all? Such a you is not lovable in the slightest.”

”If you insist on forcibly possessing me, you can, but you won’t see any of my emotions. Even so, do you still think it’s worth continuing?”

”You will never experience complete love.”

Wen Xishu actually wasn’t clear whether Mariko’s obsession after becoming ”one of them” was to satisfy physical desire or to long for true love.

In Wen Xishu’s view, it was more the former, but the latter did have a slight portion.

Otherwise, there would be no talk of escalating intimate acts; the first act would have been direct copulation.

Wen Xishu guessed right.

Seeing Mariko’s hair slowly unwind and her expression gradually showing guilt, he let out a long sigh of relief.

Almost died before dawn...

Wen Xishu embraced Mariko:

”This is my good girl. Sleep well. Let’s talk about everything once we wake up.”

Once he wakes up, there would be a different set of statements.

Wen Xishu fell asleep immediately. Mariko nodded understandingly, with a hint of joy and deep resentment in her eyes.

...

...

Wen Xishu had a dream.

Unlike before, previously Wen Xishu felt as if time had been stolen from him as soon as he woke up.

Previously he only felt like he had slept, yet not slept.

But now, Wen Xishu had a strange dream.

In the dream, he saw a black sculpture.

The sculpture was covered with talismans.

These talismans looked very familiar to Wen Xishu. He boldly leaned forward to find that the talismans were exactly the same as those in the room on the 42nd floor.

The sculpture was of a person, wearing a black kimono, looking somewhat stern.

The sculpture was in a sitting position.

At first, Wen Xishu was just curious why he would see such a sculpture.

But then, various voices started coming from the sculpture.

”Why is there so little food!”

”The next customer is still waiting for me!”

”Good dog... don’t play anymore, please open the door for mom, okay?”

”O Great Spirit, will you abandon me? Didn’t we agree to stay together forever?”

”Kill kill kill kill, hehehe, kill all of you! Kill all of you!”

”So delicious. Look, how delicious it is!”

”Such a healthy and beautiful body, it is destined to contribute to the evolution of mankind!”

Then, a policeman appeared next to Wen Xishu.

This policeman exuded a violent aura and turned his head to look at Wen Xishu:

”You also have the scent of guilt on you.”

Wen Xishu was unmoved:

”Evidence?”

Wen Xishu recognized this as the policeman who had been at the door last night.

Upon hearing about evidence, the policeman was silent for a moment:

”There are many evils in this world that leave no evidence. But they truly exist. Is it really right to always pursue evidence?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Before the end of days, certain things were wrong, but after the end of days, some rules... no longer need to be observed.”

Wen Xishu didn’t know why he was suddenly compelled to say such a thing. But the policeman seemed very pleased after hearing it:

”The restoration of order in Rokkasho... still needs— the opening of the door.”

The policeman said a strange phrase, but upon finishing it, Wen Xishu suddenly woke up.

...

...

Woke up.

When Wen Xishu woke up, it was already night.

Deceit Tower, the 42nd floor, the second day of survival on Rokkasho Island, 19:01 at night.

As Wen Xishu woke up.

He not only sensed Mariko’s body heat but also had a notification in his mind.

[Congratulations, you have successfully reached the second night. Tonight, you will unlock a new ability—prayer.]

[Prayer: Unfortunately, in an island full of spirits, the power of prayer has greatly diminished. Your prayer content has been restricted from all aspects to focusing solely on ”visitors.” You can pray for the characteristics of the next visitor. Praying has a certain probability of increasing the chances of a visitor with specific characteristics coming to knock on the door. Good luck, gatekeeper.]

Actively praying to increase the chances of visitor arrival!

Wen Xishu had to say, this skill is divine. If a real person appears through prayer...

Then, there are three monsters in the room, all in a dormant period, with three bullets left. As long as he can pray for a human visitor—even just one! The game can end.

”According to what was described on TV, there are four survivors on this island of Rokkasho. If I exclude myself, that’s three...”

”As long as any one of the three appears, I can live safely in the coming days!”
