The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 167: Chapter 167: To become the brightest star Chapter 167: Chapter 167: To become the brightest star Do you like being an artist?

Little Taotie couldn’t answer that question herself.

But she didn’t dislike it.

There was another reason, a reason she had to become an artist.

She wanted Faith Power.

“I want to be an artist, I want lots and lots of people to like me!”

Little Taotie’s eyes were filled with determination, her voice strong, as she clenched her little fists and pumped them as if to cheer herself on.

Cheng Guodong looked toward the elder beside him, who sighed and lowered his eyelids.

He had said before that if his little granddaughter wanted to be an artist, he wouldn’t object.

Cheng Guodong asked once more, “You’re about to start elementary school, and it will be very busy. If you also work, it will be very tiring. Even if it’s busy and tiring, do you still want to continue being an artist?”

“I do! I want lots and lots of people to like me, I want to become the brightest star!”

Upon hearing this, Tao Shen’s eyes twinkled.

Just like in his past life, his sister’s dream was to become the brightest star.

If this was his little sister’s wish, then he would help her achieve it.

Cheng Guodong rubbed Little Taotie’s head, “If one day you don’t want to be an artist anymore, just tell me, and we can quit at any time!”

Little Taotie clenched her little fists, “I don’t want to be a coward!”

Brother Xiao Bin had said that only cowards and deserters give up and flee easily!

“Leaving when you don’t like it anymore isn’t being a coward, it is simply the freedom to do as you wish. I just want to let you know that whatever decision you make, your second brother and I will support you!”

Qin Xin nodded, “Yes!”

Tao Shen stepped forward and said, “I will also unconditionally support whatever decision you make!”

Little Taotie smiled gently, her little face blushing slightly, “I want lots and lots of people to like me!”

Then she would have lots and lots of Faith Power!

“Of course! Actually, there are already a lot of people who like you!” Cheng Guodong said gently, “After the five days of learning are over, in the two days that follow, I’ll take you to participate in the filming of the ‘Finding the Leading Lady’ program. The first two episodes will be re-broadcast on TV, and by then, even more people will like you.”

Little Taotie’s eyes sparkled as she asked, “Will Xiao Lingzhi also be going?”

“Of course, your group has all advanced.”

Thinking of another member, Orange, Little Taotie nodded, not minding the least.

Upon learning that Hua Jinyan was staying here, Little Taotie was overjoyed and couldn’t wait to invite him to share her room.

Liu Mingzhu was quick to intercept, “A room has already been arranged for him.”

“I want to listen to ‘The Ugly Duckling’ with Hua Jinyan tonight and sleep together.”

“Cough cough…” Liu Mingzhu choked, putting a hand to her forehead, “He’s a boy; he likes different stories. Let your Brother Shen tell him stories.”

“I want to listen to ‘The Ugly Duckling,’” Hua Jinyan pursed his lips.

Tao Shen patted Hua Jinyan’s head, his smile forced as he roughly tousled Hua Jinyan’s hair and started dragging him away, “We’re men, how can we listen to ‘The Ugly Duckling’? Fairy tales are only for little girls! Come on, I’ll tell you about Wu Song fighting the tiger, ‘The Romance of the Three Kingdoms’, ‘Water Margin’… ”

Little Taotie watched them walk away, feeling restless. She blinked, cuddled the now-dry Kitty, “I also want to hear about Wu Song fighting the tiger, and the other stories Brother Shen just mentioned.”

Liu Mingzhu said tenderly, “Alright, we’ll tell a little each day, you’ll get to hear them all.”

That evening, the “Finding the Leading Lady” program was broadcast on the satellite TV.

Although the episode had already been released online, the viewership was still very high. Those who had seen it watched it again, and word of mouth spread, drawing in many viewers.

There were also those who stumbled upon it while flipping through channels, and once they stopped, they couldn’t bring themselves to change the channel again, watching the program to the end.

In the distant mountains, Little Taotie’s twin brother and sister stood by the table, waiting for everyone to finish eating, then they would eat the leftover food.

The middle-aged man was pressing the remote control when he suddenly paused, pressed back, rubbed his eyes in disbelief, and said, “Isn’t that that little Broom Star, Tao Ti?”
