The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 162: Chapter 162: Can’t Hide the Little Belly Anymore Chapter 162: Chapter 162: Can’t Hide the Little Belly Anymore The next morning, Little Taotie woke up full of energy and realized she was still in Liu Mingzhu’s arms, her little face blushing red.

She lifted her head, and her hair was fluffy on top of her little head, with a single cowlick sticking up.

The just-awoken little girl had rosy cheeks and sleepy, foggy eyes, her long, curled eyelashes framing her slightly tilted, bewildered gaze.

When Liu Mingzhu opened her eyes, she saw such an adorably perfect little cutie that her whole mother’s heart melted.

Little Taotie blinked, a bit embarrassed, and without daring to look at Liu Mingzhu, she said in a milky voice, “I didn’t drool last night, I… I sleep well, and I don’t snore…”

In the past, when she saw her younger brothers and sisters sleeping with their mother, she also asked cautiously if she could sleep with them, but her mother scolded her, saying she drooled, was restless in sleep, and even snored.

But clearly… she didn’t.

Little Taotie’s eyes darkened, and her small hand nervously clenched the corner of the quilt.

Liu Mingzhu was taken aback, looking at the little girl’s timid and uneasy demeanor, her nose felt sour, and she reached out to embrace the little cutie, her nose picking up a mix of milk and strawberry fragrance. She gently rubbed her chin against the girl’s head, “Sleeping with Little Taotie is very comfortable, you didn’t toss and turn, nor did you snore, I slept really well. Can I sleep with you again tonight?”

The light in Little Taotie’s once dim eyes suddenly sparkled like a galaxy.

“Really? Can I sleep with you again tonight?”

“We’ll sleep together tonight, and I’ll tell you the story of The Ugly Duckling. When you’re tired of it, we’ll switch to another story.”

“Yay!” Little Taotie jumped up, but quickly lay down again, shaking her head, muttering, “No, you can’t jump on the bed.”

Liu Mingzhu was almost melted by her daughter’s obedient and cute demeanor, and picked her up, saying gently, “I’ll dress you in a pretty dress. You haven’t seen the wardrobe here yet; all the clothes I picked for you. Which set do you like?”

Opening all four doors of the wardrobe, the clothes inside were arranged starting with red, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, black, white, and even some dazzling colorful ones!

Little Taotie had already seen the wardrobe her big brother prepared for her, but she was still amazed at the moment.

Mostly because the colors were so rich, her big eyes couldn’t take them all in.

“Which one do you like?”

Little Taotie scratched her fluffy hair, tilting her head, “The white one?”

Thinking of the story of The Ugly Duckling turning into a swan she heard the night before, she really wanted to dress up as a beautiful white swan.

It seemed that Liu Mingzhu guessed what the little girl was thinking, and she selected a dress resembling a ballet tutu from inside.

“Come on, I’ll change you into it!”

Little Taotie wanted to refuse, to dress herself, but after looking at the dress and not really knowing how to wear it, she finally nodded her head and, with a blushing face, let Liu Mingzhu dress her.

Now Little Taotie was a plump little girl; wearing the tight dress with a fluffy skirt below and a visible little belly sticking out above.

Little Taotie covered her little belly, her face blushing red, and the corners of her eyes started to redden with urgency, “I… I don’t want to wear it, I’m not a beautiful little swan…”

“It’s alright, it’s cold now, you need to wear a little jacket!” Liu Mingzhu held back her laughter to comfort her, selecting a fluffy jacket from the wardrobe to drape over her and zipped it up.

Little Taotie looked down and saw her little belly hidden away, and she breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Liu Mingzhu wanted to help Little Taotie brush her teeth and wash her face, but the child was too independent, neatly brushing and washing all by herself, not needing any assistance.

Liu Mingzhu led Little Taotie downstairs, and a sweet aroma of strawberries hit them face-on.

“You’re up? I was just about to call you; the ingredients are all ready. I was planning to make your favorite strawberry cupcakes!”

Tao Shen flashed a sunshiny, radiant smile and waved at Little Taotie.
