The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 149: Chapter 149 One Hundred Points and Zero Points Chapter 149: Chapter 149 One Hundred Points and Zero Points The old lady had planned a five-day study schedule, giving Tao Ti two days off, completely based on the routine of a primary school student, allowing her to get used to the life of primary school in advance.

“3+6”

“9”

Tian Leran raised his thumb, “Awesome, you can say it now without counting on your fingers!”

Tao Ti’s little face turned red, and she smiled shyly with pursed lips.

Tian Leran turned to Hua Jinyan sitting beside him and said helplessly, “You’ve known all this for a while; there’s no need for you to learn it again.”

Hua Jinyan shook his head, “I don’t know it.”

“Alright, I’ll test you too, 5+3”

“9”

“9? Are you sure?”

Tao Ti whispered, “That’s wrong.”

Hua Jinyan still insisted.

The old lady sighed, “It seems you really don’t know it, then learn along.”

Tao Ti was delighted to have more people studying with her and occasionally sneaked glances at Hua Jinyan, covering her mouth to giggle.

Hua Jinyan too gently lifted the corners of his mouth along with her.

Peering through the crack of the door, Cheng Guodong, Qin Xin, and Tao Shen began to whisper among themselves.

Cheng Guodong remarked, “He’s definitely pretending to not know!”

Tao Shen nodded in agreement, “Such a young age, and so crafty!”

Qin Xin said, “Isn’t it good to have more people studying with the sister?”

Cheng Guodong snorted, “He clearly knows it all. When he scores a hundred, and the sister, being a beginner, doesn’t do as well, she will definitely feel bad. It’s like demoting by oppression!”

Tao Shen nodded again in agreement, “It might lead to self-doubt in my sister, or even an aversion to learning and other negative attitudes!”

Qin Xin held his forehead, “Maybe the sister could also score a hundred; she’s very smart!”

Cheng Guodong sighed, “When I first met her, she could only count from 1 to 7, almost starting from scratch.”

Tao Shen sighed with empathy, “My poor little sister.”

Qin Xin said with resignation, “Let’s wait and see. If he scores too well, we’ll pull him out and send him packing!”

The old gentleman went downstairs to pour some tea and saw the three of them with their butts in the air, huddled at the door crack, their heads together peeping inside.

The old gentleman raised the Lion’s Head Cane and gave three whacks on their behinds, “You three, stop disrupting the good student’s study and close the door!”

The three held their bottoms, looking reluctant, but the old gentleman, seeing they were slow to close the door, went ahead and shut it for them. Their eyes had been practically glued to the door, and with it closed, their hearts broke, and the old gentleman shooed them away in a reluctant retreat.

After studying all afternoon, it was time for a little test.

The old lady took out a test paper and some number stickers, instructing them to stick the numbers they thought were the answers onto the paper.

With only ten questions, Tao Ti finished in just fifteen minutes.

Hua Jinyan quickly followed suit and completed his as well.

The old lady looked deeply at Hua Jinyan.

She had seen quite clearly, this young boy would do one question, take a look at Tao Ti, stop when she stopped, and continue when she did. It was obvious he was waiting for Tao Ti to finish before handing in his test.

The old lady began marking the test, right, right, right…

Her heart was extremely excited, she hadn’t expected her granddaughter, who had almost no foundation, to be so smart. She had learned and understood quickly without making any mistakes in the application!

When she marked Hua Jinyan’s paper, she was completely astonished, wrong, wrong, wrong…

The old lady put down the test, “I want to praise little friend Tao Ti, ten questions all correct, one hundred percent!”

Tao Ti cheered, laughing happily, her eyes gleaming with joy.

The old lady turned to Hua Jinyan with a stern face, “You, all incorrect, zero points!”

Tao Ti’s laughter stopped abruptly, and she looked at Hua Jinyan in confusion.

Hua Jinyan sighed, looking dejected.
