The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 141: Chapter 141: Death is Impossible

The sales clerk rushed to the police station, where the police sighed and said, “The window was locked from the inside, and there were no signs of intrusion from outsiders in the room, nor any signs of struggle in her death.”

“The autopsy report also confirms that it was suicide due to carbon monoxide poisoning after taking sleeping pills.”

“Everything indicates that this was a case of suicide.”

“Please cooperate.”

The sales clerk, overwhelmed with emotion, shook her head and cried, “No! It must have been murder!”

“First calm down, crying and causing a scene at the entrance of the police station is not appropriate!” an older female police officer handed her a cup of tea, “Come in, sit down, and let’s talk this over.”

Though the female police officer looked stern and rigid, almost like a head disciplinarian in her harshness, the tea she poured was of a soothing temperature, a tranquilizing herbal tea.

After gently sipping the herbal tea, the fragrance slowly spread in her mouth, gradually calming the sales clerk’s emotions.

The female police officer asked, “Do you have any evidence to prove that your sister would not commit suicide?”

The sales clerk began to pour her heart out, “Actually, our family didn’t approve of her entering the entertainment industry, but she loved it and was chosen as a trainee at a young age. She insisted on making her debut as a star, and would throw tantrums, claiming she would rather be dead if not allowed to pursue it!”

“My mother is a doctor and was not swayed by her threats, instead patiently asking her how she would choose to commit suicide?”

“My sister then answered that she would take sleeping pills because it wouldn’t be painful.”

“My mother mocked her, saying that if she was going to commit suicide, why should she fear pain. Not only did my mother not dissuade her, but she also began to instruct her on how many sleeping pills she would need to take to die.”

Upon hearing this, the other police officers around perked their ears, having never heard of such a bizarre case, where a child talks about suicide and a parent instructs them on how to die.

“My mother told her that she needed to consume 800 sleeping pills to die completely. Swallowing them all at once was impossible; she would have to take them in stages.”

“It’s likely that by halfway through, the person would already be nearly senseless, then would pass out. That is why many people who take sleeping pills end up spreading them all over the floor; they no longer have the strength to continue taking them and this gives others the chance to save them.”

“Of course, if someone chooses a hidden corner where no one would find them to commit suicide, it isn’t just for show; they would definitely succeed in dying. However, taking only half wouldn’t allow them to pass painlessly in their sleep.”

“If the person has stomach disease, having dozens or hundreds of sleeping pills in their stomach would gradually lead to a burning sensation, followed by stomach cramps so painful they could end up writhing on the floor unable to die. This is also why many people who take sleeping pills suddenly decide they don’t want to die, and call an ambulance.”

“My sister has a stomach illness. She trembled hearing this, thinking our mother was scaring her. But after she checked on her phone, it turned out to be true. So, she gave up on that method of dying and mentioned wrist cutting.”

“You might have guessed by now, my mother’s nature, well, she’s a rather resourceful mother. She began analyzing how deep a cut on the wrist would need to be to reach an artery. Those superficial TV cuts that only scratch the veins, they clot pretty quick. Even if they don’t clot and just slowly bleed, it’s not enough to kill and is very painful.”

“My sister, upon hearing that a cut as deep as half a finger was necessary to reach an artery, went to check again, and after that, she was completely distraught.”

“My sister mentioned many ways of dying; eventually, my mother’s approach left her exasperated, and she could only sob and express her determination to debut. My mother told her the entertainment industry was complex, with intense pressures, and many celebrities suffered from depression.”

“Yet, my sister argued that dancing, singing, and the applause excited her, that no matter how tough it got, she could never be depressed. Even if she failed and got eliminated, she would never give up and would only grow stronger from it!”

“My sister was someone who thought of suicide because she couldn’t get into the entertainment industry, not someone who would break because of minor setbacks within it.”

“Most importantly, even if she were to commit suicide, she would never take sleeping pills!”
