The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 124: Chapter 124: First to Seek Grandpa in Any Situation

“Self-destruct!” she exclaimed, her eyes wide and unexpectedly moistening.

She began to feel sorry for War God and, while he was healing, brought him all sorts of delicious foods to tempt him daily, even attempting to apply medicine on him, but War God gracefully declined.

From that day on, Little Taotie became increasingly clingy to War God, following him everywhere like a shadow.

War God considered this a sweet burden but didn’t say anything to discourage her, allowing her to stick close by.

Whenever warriors passed by them, they would chuckle and tease, “The bond between little Fierce Beast and War God is getting stronger!”

On her birthday, War God personally fastened a jade pendant in the shape of Little Beast Bai Bai around her neck. The vain little girl, tiny as she was, stood by the Heavenly Pool, admiring herself in the reflection over and over, with a smile that never faded.

Tao Mo finally received the consent of Tao Ti’s two adopted brothers and stayed with peace of mind, worrying about his little granddaughter kicking off her blanket at night, he quietly entered the room.

As expected, the little one’s stomach was exposed, her blanket having long since parted from her and lay pitifully at the corner of the bed.

The sleeping little girl seemed to be dreaming of something joyful and began giggling in her sleep, rolling around on the bed.

Tao Mo: “…”

The next morning, the first thing Little Taotie did when she opened her eyes was to look at the fish tank on the bedside table.

The two clownfish were frolicking inside, and she revealed a soft and adorable smile, greeting the clownfish in the tank, “Xiao Ni, Xiao Mo, good morning! Come on, let’s go sunbathe!”

The three people in the living room saw the tiny child running out with the fish tank and thought there was some urgent matter, only to see Little Taotie rush to the balcony, find the best spot for sunshine, place down the tank and say cutely, “Xiao Ni, Xiao Mo, don’t rush, I’m going to find some food to feed you!”

Cheng Guodong: “…”

Qin Xin: “…”

Tao Mo: “…”

The doorbell rang, Cheng Guodong went to open it, and saw the life assistant coming in with a serving cart, glancing into the living room. Seeing that Little Taotie was awake, he smiled, “I thought it was about time; indeed, you’re all awake. I’ve come to deliver breakfast!”

He knew Little Taotie liked tasty treats, so he had specially prepared a variety of delicious foods.

To his surprise, Little Taotie didn’t come running over but completely ignored his presence.

The life assistant hesitantly asked, “Has Little Taotie already eaten?”

Cheng Guodong, pressing his forehead: “Not yet, she is busy feeding her Xiao Ni and Xiao Mo.”

Life Assistant: “…”

Tao Ti watched the clownfish opening their mouths to eat the mashed fish, finding them exceptionally cute with their little round mouths opening and closing, occasionally blowing bubbles.

So, she couldn’t stop herself and kept feeding them, endlessly… until the clownfish threw up!

With tears in the corner of her eyes, Little Taotie ran over to Tao Mo, “Grandpa, grandpa, what should I do… they threw up, will they die…?”

Cheng Guodong and Qin Xin were also there, and seeing their sister running over with tears welling in her eyes, both extended their hands intending to hug her, but saw her run past them and straight into their grandfather’s embrace.

Cheng Guodong: “…”

Is this the power of blood ties?

Qin Xin: “…”

Do I not seem reliable?

Tao Mo gently wiped away the tears from her eyes with a tissue, comforting her affectionately, “Don’t cry, don’t cry, they’ll be fine once the water is changed. It’s okay, they won’t die. They’ve just eaten too much, and you can’t feed them anymore.”

“I won’t feed them anymore…” Tao Ti said, looking at her fingers, knowing she had done something wrong.

Tao Ti looked up and noticed the two men at the table, “Eh, big brother, second brother, you’re here too?”

Cheng Guodong: “…”

Is it too late to get Grandpa to leave now?

Qin Xin: “…”

Am I completely ignored?

Tao Mo showed a smug smile at the two men, his eyes brimming with pride, regaining the confidence of a peacock.

Cheng Guodong and Qin Xin didn’t realize that last night, when their grandfather went into Tao Ti’s room to cover her with the blanket, he accidentally woke her up. Tao Ti was startled awake, with unshed tears hanging in her eyes, which distressed the old man terribly.

The grandfather immediately sang a lullaby, which managed to coax the tears back into her eyes.

But since Tao Ti couldn’t fall back asleep, the grandfather had to tell her several stories until he finally lulled her to sleep, quickly tightening the bond between grandfather and granddaughter.
