The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 145: Chapter 145: Fish Should Not Be Kept in the Bedroom Chapter 145: Chapter 145: Fish Should Not Be Kept in the Bedroom The sweet potato’s roots were long and lean, drifting in the water like a dream, hazy and obscure. The upper half of the sweet potato sprouted green and lush leaves, adorning the upper space of the aquarium.

For convenience in feeding, one side of the aquarium wall extended to the top, while the other was half as tall. Tao Ti, standing on a stool, could reach the opening at the midpoint to feed the fish.

“Although it looks nice like this, Xiao Ni and Xiao Mo can’t sleep with me anymore.”

Pressing against the crystal surface, Tao Ti attempted to touch Xiao Ni and Xiao Mo.

Hearing this, Tao Mo laughed, and the grandfather gave Tao Shen a thumbs-up.

The grandfather did not approve of Tao Ti placing the aquarium on her bedside cabinet. If the fish were quiet at night, it would be fine, but if they swam around while the person in bed had fallen asleep, it would lead to a water calamity.

Some time ago, the grandfather visited a friend’s house and noticed that his friend’s right eye was swollen and listless.

Upon inquiring about it, the old friend told him it was due to a water calamity and that they had sought a Feng Shui master to resolve the issue, which would improve with time.

This made the grandfather remember the term “water calamity.”

If dripping sounds are consistently heard in the house and the sound continues, this phenomenon is called a “water calamity.”

It commonly occurs with the dripping noise from an air conditioner, when a bathroom is too close to a bedroom and its dripping noise, and when keeping fish in the bedroom, with the sounds of their night-time swimming.

Without delving into mysticism, from a scientific perspective, being constantly troubled by dripping sounds can cause insomnia, weaken the spirit, interrupt deep sleep, resulting in lighter sleep. A chronic shortage of deep sleep can lead to kidney disease, among other conditions.

From the perspective of mysticism, a water calamity could lead to the host experiencing financial loss, not accumulating wealth, and could cause eye diseases, kidney diseases, birth complications, heart discomfort, blood disorders, and symptoms like insomnia. Moreover, the closer one is, the greater the harm.

In severe cases, it could lead to other ominous events, even accidental disasters.

The grandfather was not a superstitious man, but he approached these matters with a certain reverence, preferring to believe in their possibility rather than completely dismissing them.

Now, the fact that his granddaughter’s talent in mysticism seemed to confirm that the end of science is mysticism only deepened his respect for it.

He did not want his granddaughter to place the aquarium in her bedroom, much less on her bedside cabinet. Therefore, on their way back from Sanya, he sent a message to his eldest grandson, asking him to come up with a solution that would gently address the issue without upsetting his granddaughter.

The eldest grandson proved to be reliable, installing this crystal aquarium wall in the house so that his granddaughter would no longer be able to place it beside her bed.

Tao Ti, with lingering affection, touched Xiao Ni and Xiao Mo again, cooing, “You two be good here, I will also study hard, strive to get into primary school, and become a primary school student! When we return to our own home, we can sleep together!”

Wait a minute! This is your home! Where does my dear granddaughter need to go?

The grandfather grew anxious and squatted down to ask, “Don’t you like grandpa’s house? Why are you already thinking about leaving after just one day?”

“Grandpa’s house is big and beautiful, and I really like it! But this place… is not my home.” Tao Ti lowered her eyelids, recalling what her grandfather’s spiritual body had told her in the hospital ward, and said softly, “I need to go back to the mountains to see my younger brother and sister. I’m their older sister; I should bring them something tasty to eat.”

Even though her younger siblings would secretly eat delicious food without her, the grandfather would also give her chicken legs and tasty treats behind their siblings’ backs.

The grandfather worried about them, and she could not let her younger siblings go hungry either.
