The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 122: Chapter 122: Just Want to See Her Every Day

Tao Mo thought about his lively little grandson and it gave him a headache. The most depressing part was that his grandson was extremely talented, and his swordsmanship skills had already surpassed the old man himself.

Every time he used swordsmanship as an excuse to teach his disobedient son a lesson, his unlucky son would just summon Xiao Bin, which was enough to kill his enthusiasm for sparring.

“Tao Shen, Tao Bin, indeed are my two grandsons, and also Little Taotie’s two elder brothers.”

Cheng Guodong said earnestly, “In that case, they are indeed not as reliable as me and my younger brother.”

Although Tao Shen acted like a little adult, after all, he was just a brat, and his rebellious phase was probably close. At such an unpredictable age, he dared not let his sister get close to him.

As for Tao Bin, that kid was wild and mischievous like a monkey at ten years old. He certainly couldn’t let his sister play with him or she might pick up bad habits.

Tao Mo choked, wanting to object to something, but remembering his troublesome grandson, he shut his mouth.

“We don’t want you and your two grandsons to appear again and disturb your sister’s life.” Cheng Guodong made the final decision and even made a gesture to ask Tao Mo to leave.

Tao Mo, in desperation, grabbed Cheng Guodong’s hand. “You are my granddaughter’s adopted brother, and I suppose I could be considered your elder. I don’t ask you to call me ‘Grandpa’, but you can’t treat me like this! Respect your elders, please! Where do you want me to go in the middle of the night? I have nowhere to go! Do you want to see an old man sleeping on the streets…”

Cheng Guodong, with a headache, interrupted him, “This hotel is yours, you can go to any room you want after leaving this one. You don’t need to sleep on the streets! Please don’t act pitiful, and I’m not going to call you ‘Grandpa.’ Don’t dream impossible dreams!”

The old man became obstinate and clung to Cheng Guodong’s arm, ready to wail, but just as he opened his mouth to cry, he heard Qin Xin’s unhurried voice: “Old man, do you want to wake up your sister?”

The cry that was about to burst out was stifled; Tao Mo looked utterly forlorn. He regretted not being an actor who could produce tears in three seconds.

“I really mean no harm. Just let me stay close to my little granddaughter. I promise I won’t rashly reveal my identity! I’ll just be a grandpa fan, her grandpa fan.”

Seeing the two exchange glances without being moved, seemingly still wanting to send him away, the old man became frantic, pretending to kneel!

“What are you doing!” Cheng Guodong immediately helped him, preventing him from actually kneeling down.

“Old man, don’t make this difficult for me. If you kneel to me, isn’t that going to shorten my life!”

Tao Mo wanted to kneel but was held up by Cheng Guodong, preventing him from kneeling altogether. This time, he truly began to cry. “What should I do then? You won’t let me be close to my sweet little granddaughter. If I don’t kneel to you, to whom should I kneel! I know you’ve been good to my granddaughter, if not for you, she definitely would have suffered in that unscrupulous company, so I don’t dare to threaten you, and I can’t do anything else, so all I can do is kneel before you…”

Tao Mo became exhausted, his old age making even breathing frantic as his emotions surged.

Qin Xin hurried forward to help the old man, and together with Cheng Guodong, they managed to settle the old man on the sofa. Qin Xin poured a cup of warm water, while Cheng Guodong fetched a Quick-acting Heart-saving Pill.

Cheng Guodong: “Take a pill first, don’t let anything happen.”

The old man glanced at it, decisively took the warm water from Qin Xin’s hand, ignoring the Quick-acting Heart-saving Pill in Cheng Guodong’s hand, and waved his hand: “No medicine! I don’t want to take any medicine!”

After drinking a cup of warm water, the old man regained his strength, looking distressed: “Please, just treat me like the air, ignore my existence, don’t send me away. I just want to be near my little granddaughter, just seeing her every day is enough for me.”

Cheng Guodong handed over the Quick-acting Heart-saving Pill, his face cold: “If you can’t even do something as simple as taking a pill, how can we trust you?”

Seeing a glimpse of hope, Tao Mo’s eyes brightened. “Just let me stay near my little granddaughter and not send me away if I take the medicine?”
