The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 130: Chapter 130 Grandma’s Great Grandson

Tao Shen put down the phone in his hands, his gaze as gloomy and frightening as possible. He stood by the living room’s phone for a long while until his grandmother’s puzzled voice reached his ears, “Why didn’t you go to school today?”

Tao Shen reined in the icy glint in his eyes, turned around, and revealed a gentlemanly and gentle smile, “I heard my sister was coming today, so I asked for leave.”

“Yes, today Little Taotie is going to be here—it’s grandma’s first time meeting her!” Ms. Tian Leran twirled in place, showing her eldest grandson a loving smile, “Look, what does grandma think of this outfit? Does it look nice?”

Ms. Tian Leran was dressed all in pink, her graying medium-length hair styled into wool curls, and she wore round spectacles on her nose, which matched her round eyes and made her very approachable.

Tao Shen couldn’t help but laugh softly, “Grandma, what’s going on with your hair?”

The old lady touched her hair, joining in on the laughter, “My old lady friends told me that wool curls look the gentlest, and now the kids all like cartoons about what’s-its-name sheep, so they’ll feel close to an old lady like me.”

“Grandma, this pink outfit of yours…” Tao Shen covered his eyes, even the shoes were pink!

“Little Taotie is a girl; she’ll definitely like pink! I heard she likes to dress her plush bears in pink, so when she sees this pink old lady, she’ll certainly like me a lot!”

“Grandma has really gone out of her way to make sure my sister likes her!”

Tian Leran laughed embarrassedly, “It’s the first meeting, after all. I want to make a good impression on your sister.”

“Right, I have a student coming over in a bit. I arranged for this week’s lessons last week and also can’t just decline at this point—the kid is too uptight and might not be easy to get along with.”

“Is it a new disciple that grandma has taken on?”

“Not exactly a disciple. He doesn’t really have talent in playing piano; mainly, he comes to listen to my piano playing. He’s a good boy, doesn’t make much noise, just a bit too somber.”

“Do you want me to look after him for you?”

“Yes, I want to get closer to Little Taotie, and I won’t have time to look after him. Play him a few pieces, your level is good enough.”

“I’ve become the piano player?” Tao Shen said with a wry smile, “I didn’t take the effort to take leave to play the piano for your disciple!”

“Please!” Tian Leran pleaded with her grandson, her eyes begging him as she batted her eyelids, “Help grandma out, my good elder grandson!”

Tao Shen rubbed his forehead, “Alright then.”

The lively Little Old Lady almost jumped on the spot, smiling sweetly at Tao Shen, “I heard you’re going to take an accelerated promotion test?”

“That’s right, my level is good enough to skip a grade, and I don’t want to waste any more time.”

Tian Leran nodded her head, “Leave your father to me—I’ll take care of it.”

She knew her son was somewhat old-fashioned and most likely wouldn’t agree.

Tao Shen stepped forward to hug his grandmother, smiling, “Then I’ll trouble you, grandma. I won’t tell grandpa about you secretly eating chocolate behind his back!”

“Uh!” Tian Leran’s gaze shifted, whispering softly, “You have to keep it a secret, okay?”

Tao Shen was very attached to the embrace of his grandmother. In his previous life, the old lady had suffered a heart attack induced by diabetes from eating too much sweet food and couldn’t be saved. In this life, he would take responsibility for watching over his sweet-toothed grandma!

“I bought you zero-sugar chocolate; the taste is practically the same, it’s made with sugar substitutes. If you want to eat, eat this.”

Accepting the thoughtfully prepared chocolate from her eldest grandson, Tian Leran’s face broke into a smile, she patted Tao Shen’s head, “Indeed, grandma’s good elder grandson is the most considerate of grandma!”
