The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 103: Chapter 103: Two Brothers with an Old-Fashioned Mindset

The RV stopped at the best local vacation hotel, which had the prime spot for viewing.

Tao Ti checked into a sea-view room, where she could face the sea just by pushing open the window and stepping out onto the balcony, with the azure sea and deep blue sky converging at the horizon.

After lunch, the lifestyle assistant took them to the pier, heading to the “Maldives” of China.

At Wuzhizhou Island, you couldn’t miss the water activities here, especially the jet packs, paragliding, and diving.

Little Taotie gazed with wide eyes at the person soaring into the sky on a jet of water beneath their feet, filled with envy.

She got excited and wanted to try stepping on a water jet pack to experience being shot into the sky. As she took small steps toward it, her older brother grabbed her hand and led her away.

“I want to play!” Tao Ti said, blinking her big eyes full of hope.

Cheng Guodong and Qin Xin exchanged helpless glances with each other.

Actually, they had also planned an itinerary, but Wuzhizhou Island had been cut because, although its water activities were popular, they were not suitable for young children.

“Behave, when you’re a little older, we’ll come and play, okay?” Cheng Guodong said patiently.

However, Tao Mo, standing beside them, was eager to try, “No problem, as long as Little Taotie wants to play, grandpa will take you! Come on, let’s go play!”

Tao Ti, who had been looking disappointed, immediately brightened up, her eyes full of admiration when she looked at Tao Mo.

Tao Mo was very proud and took Tao Ti’s hand, ready to play various thrilling water sports.

He was actually dying to try them too; he had always been denied, being told he was too old to play.

Today he was determined to accompany his little granddaughter and try out all these activities!

Just imagining the view of Wuzhizhou Island from above in the air, how fantastic, how thrilling!

But before the old man and the little one could run a few steps, they were stopped by Cheng Guodong and Qin Xin.

Cheng Guodong forcibly pulled the elder back, while Qin Xin ran back carrying Tao Ti.

Tao Ti lay on Qin Xin’s shoulder, watching the sea grow more distant, her little nose feeling sour with grievance, “It looks… so much fun!”

Qin Xin reached out to rub her little head and covered her eyes, “Stop looking. When you grow up, I’ll bring you back here to play.”

Tao Mo shouted, “To the sea I go—” His voice suddenly broke off as Cheng Guodong forcefully pulled him back, his feet leaving stubborn deep marks in the sand, “You damn kid, let me go, do you not understand respect for the elderly…”

The lifestyle assistant wiped the sweat from his forehead and gave an awkward smile, “Let’s go to the next scenic spot then, Tropical Paradise Forest Park!”

In the itinerary set by Qin Xin, there was also this place, the natural forest oxygen bar—the Tropical Paradise Forest Park.

“Good, let’s go there!” Cheng Guodong agreed.

Surrounded by greenery, the elder was deeply melancholy, silent, occasionally exchanging a glare with Cheng Guodong, and would instantly huff and look away.

Cheng Guodong: “…”

He was at a loss for words. Where did this petulant old man come from? He was just like an old child! So hard to manage!

Tao Ti patted Qin Xin’s shoulder and tilted her head, her voice milky, “Big brother, I want to walk by myself!”

Qin Xin put her down and touched her head, his voice warm, “But don’t run off.”

The group walked quietly under the shade of trees, listening to the birds singing in the branches and the pleasant sound of waves hitting the shores; it was refreshing, with the salty sea breeze and the fragrance of plants and grass.

There weren’t many people here, perhaps because most visitors to Sanya preferred the sunshine and the beaches, with the majority gathering by the seaside.

Every now and then, a few people could be seen walking together before disappearing into the forest.

“This is a good place to relax. It’s not as crowded as the beach, which can feel a bit suffocating,” Cheng Guodong remarked.

Tao Mo, finding him annoying, retorted, “Who comes to Sanya and doesn’t go to the beach? Only you two, looking young but with the mindset of fusty old fogeys, would come to a place like this!”
