The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 100: Chapter 100: The Big Iron Bird Has a Huge Appetite

Tao Mo listened to Cheng Guodong’s explanation and felt deeply apologetic. He said, “In that case, I’ll cover all the expenses for your trip. I have a resort in Sanya. Let’s go, I’ll take you there!”

“Wait a minute!” Cheng Guodong snapped back to reality. Was this old gentleman… a fellow traveler?

“No more waiting, or we’ll miss the plane!” Afraid of being rejected, Tao Mo hurriedly called his life assistant, instructing them to purchase plane tickets while sneakily glimpsing Cheng Guodong’s ticket.

First class was gone, only economy class was left, but Tao Mo still instructed his life assistant to hurry and buy them.

The life assistant was worried. “Do you need to bring any spare medication, for high blood pressure…?”

“No, no!” Tao Mo quickly hung up the phone.

...

The chance to travel with his granddaughter was too good to miss. Who needed medicine? That would be such a buzzkill!

He thought the life assistant his son got for him was really clueless, not good at all, not good! He wouldn’t give him a red envelope this New Year! Humph!

In the distance, the life assistant who had just booked the plane tickets sneezed, feeling an ominous premonition.

…

Cheng Guodong walked into the plane cabin, completely dazed, his eyes filled with existential doubt.

Behind him came the hearty voice of the old man, “Little Taotie, these are some snacks Grandpa prepared. Eat them on the plane, okay?” Saying so, he stuffed some candy into Tao Ti’s arms.

“But…” Tao Ti quietly glanced at Cheng Guodong’s retreating back. Her oldest brother and second brother controlled her candy intake, telling her that if she ate too much, her teeth would turn black and fall out, leaving her a toothless Little Taotie.

Without teeth, she wouldn’t be able to eat many tasty things. She couldn’t afford to be toothless!

“Don’t like this one?” Tao Mo chuckled merrily. “No worries, there’s also this. Here’s chocolate-flavored cereal, this is hawthorn cake, this is egg pastry, and this is sesame cake…”

Tao Ti couldn’t hold them all; there were too many!

Cheng Guodong covered his forehead, reaching out to embrace the excited old gentleman, sighing, “Let’s have a meal after getting off the plane, don’t let her eat too many snacks, it’s unhealthy!”

“How is it unhealthy? These aren’t chips or anything. I had someone check, the ingredients list for these is all good, no problem, children can eat them!”

“Eating too much, she won’t have room for dinner later,” Cheng Guodong said helplessly.

“She can eat them slowly!” Tao Mo stiffened his neck in confrontation.

Cheng Guodong, fearing the old man would get too agitated and possibly have a medical emergency on the plane, which would be a hassle to deal with, decided to compromise.

He reached for the large and small bags in Tao Ti’s arms, saying, “Big Brother will carry them for you. Let’s go, our seats are right up front.”

Tao Mo looked enviously at Cheng Guodong, his granddaughter would sit next to him, so obedient and cute.

“Can I swap seats with you?” Tao Mo asked tentatively.

Cheng Guodong rolled his eyes, the message clear without words.

That meant no negotiation? Tao Mo tried to swap seats with someone else but was rejected. He could only return to his seat with a scowl, too far away to even see his adorable, cute granddaughter.

The old man felt depressed, so he decided to vent his frustration on the useless life assistant!

The life assistant felt a headache coming on the moment he received the old gentleman’s call, besieged by a variety of eccentric demands.

…

Tao Ti’s seat was by the window. Looking out at the crowd, she exclaimed, “So many people! This big iron bird has such a big appetite, it can hold so many people inside!”

Cheng Guodong laughed at her childlike wonder and words.

It seemed his second brother was right. Tao Ti was still young. She shouldn’t start by flying on private jets. She needed to experience many things to broaden her horizons and grow.

He didn’t want her to end up like those new rich second or third generations, chauffeured from little on and completely helpless without their private cars, not knowing how to use a taxi app or what a transit card is when taking a bus, turning into life-inept dolts.

“Wow! It’s taking off! The iron bird is amazing, flying into the sky…”

Little Taotie’s eyes sparkled as she gazed at the view outside. The weather today was fine, the sun shone brightly, and its golden rays bathed the light clouds, creating a glorious shimmer.
