The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 92: Chapter 92: Then Big Brother Will Take You Flying

Arriving at the office building where the company was located, Tao Ti stood in front of the revolving doors and looked up, asking blankly, “How many floors does this have?”

Cheng Guodong answered with a smile, “Thirty-two floors.”

“Wow, that’s so high!”

She had thought the previous company she worked for was already quite tall, but she hadn’t expected to encounter a building with thirty-two floors.

“On the highest floor, if you reach out your hand, can you touch the clouds?”

Cheng Guodong was amused by her childlike words and shook his head, “That would be too dangerous. The windows are fixed and can’t be opened.”

...

“Ah? Wouldn’t that be suffocating?”

“There are ventilation ducts, so you won’t suffocate.”

“Big brother, which floor are we going to?”

“To the very top, I’ll let you experience what it feels like to stand amongst the clouds.” Cheng Guodong enjoyed the feeling of looking out from a high floor, gazing down at the city, feeling relaxed and uplifted.

Tao Ti blinked in anticipation, “Yay!”

After swiping his access card, the elevator went straight to the thirty-second floor. Exiting the elevator, Cheng Guodong calmed down and suddenly thought of a problem: what if his little sister was afraid of heights?

Looking down at the eager Little Taotie, Cheng Guodong pursed his lips and said, “Little sister, let’s go back downstairs. It’s too high up here, and you’re too young. It wouldn’t be good if you got scared.”

“I don’t want to; I want to stand amongst the clouds!” Tao Ti, who had been looking forward to this for a long time, suddenly became stubborn when she heard this. She pouted and shook her little head vigorously.

“Alright, alright, we’ll go look at the scenery.” Cheng Guodong steadied her shaking little head, feeling happy rather than annoyed by her petulance.

He had finally indulged his little sister enough to turn her into a princess who would act spoiled and willful!

His face was full of pride and satisfaction!

Cheng Guodong took Tao Ti’s hand, opened the door, and said, “If you feel weak in the knees, don’t lean against the window, alright?”

Tao Ti nodded enthusiastically, her big eyes sparkling with joy, incredibly cute.

Cheng Guodong led her by the hand to the window. From here, they could look out at a far-reaching view, the tallest building in the entire district.

Being able to work in the tallest building, on the highest floor, also symbolized status and position.

Tao Ti pressed herself against the window, almost like an octopus suctioned to the glass, her little head pressed firmly against it, her eyes wide and round as she looked outside.

There were no signs of acrophobia, which relieved Cheng Guodong. However, his little sister’s boldness and aspiration for heights were beyond what Cheng Guodong had anticipated.

Tao Ti remembered the first time the white Tuanzi learned to fly in her dreams, the sensation of stepping on clouds and soaring through the sky was simply too wonderful!

“I want to fly,” said Tao Ti, pressing against the glass, her cheeks flattened, her mouth mumbling, “I want to fly in the sky…”

Cheng Guodong slapped his forehead, that’s right, he hadn’t taken his little sister on a plane yet!

“Do you really want to fly?” Cheng Guodong asked mysteriously.

Finally willing to divert her gaze from the scenic skies, Tao Ti turned to look at him, nodding with curiosity, “I want to fly!”

“Then big brother will take you flying!”

“What?”

Her baffled and astonished expression delighted Cheng Guodong. He took her small hand and said, “Let’s go on a trip, just like that. You’re quite the sensation overseas right now; it’s time to show your face!”

“Abroad…” Tao Ti’s eyes widened, like a Kitty’s orbs, cute and dazed.

Cheng Guodong ruffled her hair, laughing out loud, “And we have to take your second brother with us. He knows more about other countries than I do. I can’t even speak foreign languages well. He must be our guide so we can travel freely without any communication barriers!”
