The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 89: Chapter 89: Explosive Popularity Overseas

Tao Ti had no idea that because of a short video, she had become an overnight sensation across the internet.

Actually, she had already been somewhat famous, but at that time, she had no representative work, and people liked her only for her appearance and her experiences.

At this moment, however, she had her first representative work, and it was a classic.

At midnight, when the clock chimed, the voting channel officially closed.

The numbers froze at one million, one hundred eighty-eight thousand and seven votes!

With a tremendous margin, an overwhelming victory, surpassing the other five groups’ short videos.

...

But this was not the end of everything; rather, it was the beginning of something else, because after midnight, some netizens started sharing this short video on foreign websites.

Originally, foreigners rarely clicked on such unremarkable short videos because the person who forwarded it merely commented: “wish for world peace.”

This kind of title did not attract many young people to watch.

Instead, some older foreigners would click to watch, including many cultural workers who were very interested in Hua Country’s culture.

After they watched this short video, they couldn’t help but take a deep breath, exhale and sit there quietly, lost in thought.

Racial discrimination is actually more prevalent abroad, and to them, the impact was even stronger.

At that moment, they realized that when a mighty non-human species appeared, humans would unite like this. Upon further reflection, it makes sense—when a common enemy appears, not just adults, but even children who fight over candy would come together and unite.

Foreign cultural workers had their own networks and connections, and they quickly shared the good works they saw within their circles.

As foreign friends shared it with one another, the short video completely went viral abroad.

The short video was nameless because the “Finding the Leading Lady” production team didn’t want the inherent fans of the child stars to spot the name and vote for their favorite child star without even watching the video, so the six videos were only assigned numbers.

In the eyes of foreigners, number 3 was the name of this short video.

Also, because the name number 3 was simple and easy to remember, although they did not know why it was called that, it did not hinder its widespread circulation and it completely took off overseas!

At three in the morning, Cheng Guodong’s phone was bombarded, and he was finally awakened by the noise, reaching for the phone: “Hello, who’s this?”

PR Officer 1: “Chairman Cheng, the video went viral!”

Cheng Guodong had not fully awakened yet, and asked groggily: “What went viral?”

PR Officer 1: “The number 3 short video shot by Little Taotie has completely gone viral, not only domestically but now overseas as well! Little Taotie even has international fans now!”

“What?” Cheng Guodong got excited, with his regional accent slipping out, he rubbed his eyes. “Are you serious? The video really went viral?”

“Haven’t we seen it already? We predicted at the time that the video would definitely go viral, but we didn’t anticipate that it could reach this extent!”

“Let me wake up, I feel like I’m dreaming!”

Cheng Guodong slapped his forehead hard, feeling the pain and realizing this was not a dream.

“Say it again, she even has fans overseas?”

“Yes, Chairman Cheng!”

“What should we do next? Should we seize this opportunity?”

“Yes, Chairman Cheng! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If we can capitalize on this, Little Taotie might become a world-famous child star!”
