The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 68: Chapter 68 Can You See Her Too?

Tao Ti asked, her hand gently grasping the other hand though she wasn’t holding any physical form.

The girl looked towards Luo Hanchen’s direction with reluctance and complexity, then cast her eyes down.

“Are you unable to leave your father?”

“But a vengeful spirit can’t stay in the mortal world forever, or it will miss the chance to be reincarnated.”

“Although I don’t know who told me this, someone said that a vengeful spirit losing the opportunity to be reincarnated is a very unfortunate thing.”

The girl lifted her head, her lifeless eyes dark and heavy, but Tao Ti saw in them reluctance and pain.

...

“You are in pain because the resentment is still present, and even as a Spiritual Body, you will suffer terribly. I’ll help you consume the resentment.”

Tao Ti reached out to gather the clumps of grey mist, but the little girl dodged her.

Tao Ti paused in surprise.

This was the first time she had encountered a vengeful spirit refusing to have its resentment consumed.

“You…don’t want to leave?”

“But if I don’t consume your resentment, I can’t lock in those who harmed you to seek revenge for you!”

In Luo Hanchen’s view, Tao Ti was merely talking to thin air.

Located in the Shaolin Temple, Luo Hanchen knew many High Monks who could see things that ordinary people could not. His first thought was that Little Taotie could see those things.

“Little Taotie, what do you see? My daughter? Is my daughter here?” Luo Hanchen ran over eagerly, searching in front of Tao Ti, his eyes wide in an attempt to see his daughter.

But even as he strained his eyes to the point of soreness and pain, he couldn’t see anything.

“It’s the young lady, exactly like in the picture, but she refuses to give me her resentment,” Tao Ti said, somewhat disheartened. She didn’t know how to help the young lady if she wouldn’t cooperate, the beautiful mom in her dreams hadn’t taught her what to do in this case.

The door was knocked upon by Tao Bin, who came anxiously looking for his sister, accompanied by his little follower, the junior monk.

Upon entering, Tao Bin ran to Little Taotie, positioning himself in front of her, separating her from Luo Hanchen, fearful that the notoriously fierce Luo Hanchen might bully his beloved sister.

Hua Jinyan saw immediately a little girl in front of Tao Ti; in his view, the girl was covered in blood, had pitch-black empty eyes, and not a single finger on her hands.

Despite having seen many Ghosts and having become quite numb, Hua Jinyan was startled nonetheless.

The appearance of a Ghost mirrors the moment of their death.

How much had this little girl suffered before she died so tragically?

Luo Hanchen, who had heard about Hua Jinyan’s capability, immediately grabbed his hand, anxiously asking: “You saw her, didn’t you? In front of Little Taotie, is that my daughter?”

“Your daughter?” Hua Jinyan was taken aback, confounded: “Covered in blood, without a single finger.”

“Yes! It’s her! My daughter, it’s my daughter!” Luo Hanchen reached out towards that direction, trying to touch his daughter, although he couldn’t feel anything, but he knew for sure she was there, his tears uncontrolled, “Nuannuan, it’s Daddy’s fault, Daddy harmed you, Daddy couldn’t save you… my Nuannuan…”

Hua Jinyan looked at Tao Ti, asking the question that loomed in his heart: “Can you see her too?”

Tao Ti was just as surprised, the other person could identify that the young lady had no fingers, Tao Ti nodded: “I can see the young lady, can you see her too?”

Tao Bin was so frightened he was speechless, completely stunned.

Oh my god!

His sister and the junior monk could both see Ghosts!
