The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 91: Chapter 91: Cry and Laugh, Little Flower the Cat

Cheng Guodong arrived at the mountain and from afar saw his little sister with her hands planted firmly on the ground, striking a formidable “pouncing tiger” pose, accompanied by a menacing, yet adorable growl: “Grrr!”

The old monk beside her shook his head and instructed, “Not fierce enough, open your mouth wide, stare with big eyes, imagine yourself as a fearsome, hunting tiger!”

Tao Ti obediently nodded her head—innocent-faced one second, adorably ferocious the next: “Grrr!”

“No, no, you still haven’t captured the essence of a tiger pouncing on its prey!” the old monk said, shaking his head repeatedly. “This is the tenth pose of the Muscle, Tendon Changing Classic, named ‘Crouching Tiger Pouncing Pose.’ You have to embody the curvature of a crouching tiger. Sink your waist a bit more; the entire pouncing motion should extend forward, in sync with your expression. Open your eyes wide, open your mouth, and relax your facial features!”

Tao Ti assumed the position, her hands planted on the ground, resembling a small tiger crouched and ready to strike, to deliver a deadly blow to her prey!

Her form was the spitting image of a young tiger cub.

...

“Grrr!” She suddenly growled menacingly, pouncing forward with her mouth wide and eyes wide open.

“That’s right, that’s it! Excellent, you’ve got the essence of the move! Let’s learn the next one, the ‘Bowing Stance.’”

“Excuse me for a moment,” Cheng Guodong stepped forward at this time, respectfully making a palms-together gesture to the old monk, “I’m here to take my sister back home. She’s been on the mountain for quite a while now; it’s time for her to return.”

The old monk: “…”

My heart aches!

It was not easy to take on a disciple, and now she has to leave!

Tao Ti stood up and suddenly pounced towards the old monk, startling him. Fearing she might fall, he quickly reached out to support her. Tao Ti hugged the old monk’s leg, her voice milky and tender: “Master, I’m going to make money to save Grandpa. When I’m done, I will come back to the mountain to continue learning the Muscle, Tendon Changing Classic. You must remember me, okay? Don’t forget me!”

“Oh dear, are those pearls falling? No crying, no crying!” the old monk was in disarray, “Our Little Taotie is so adorable; how could I possibly forget? I will wait for you here; there are still two poses you haven’t learned. You should come back early! In March and April, the mountain flowers will bloom, so beautiful. Remember to come back to see the flowers!”

Tao Ti wiped her tears and nodded firmly, hugging the old monk one more time reluctantly before letting go. Waving goodbye to the old monk, then she ran over to Cheng Guodong, tugging at the edge of his clothing, her voice soft: “Big brother, can I come back in March or April?”

The little girl’s eyes were red-rimmed, her nose was red, and her large eyes were wet—who could refuse any of her requests?

Cheng Guodong nodded and gently said, “You don’t have to wait until March or April. As soon as the commercial is shot, you can come back. If you like it here, I’ll bring you back whenever you’re free.”

The Little Taotie, who had just been crying, suddenly started smiling the next second, her tiny teeth neat and orderly, her eyes arching into crescents—even with reddish corners, she was adorable and tender.

Cheng Guodong stroked her head and pulled out a tissue to wipe her face, his eyes full of doting and tenderness, chuckling, “Little Flower Cat, one moment crying, the next laughing, I really don’t know what to do with you.”

Big hand holding little hand, the two chatted and laughed as they descended the mountain.

“Don’t I need to pack my things?”

“Shooting the commercial won’t take many days; you’ll be back before you know it.”

“I didn’t have time to say goodbye to Brother Xiao Bin, Bald Senior Brother, and the others.”

“It’s okay, the old master will pass on the message.”

“Is shooting a commercial difficult? I’m afraid I won’t do well…”

“Don’t be afraid, it’s quite simple, you just need to eat as you normally do.”

“Eat? Like eating food?”

Tao Ti was stunned; was it possible to eat without paying, and even get paid for it? Could there really be such a wonderful thing in this world!
