Chapter 1030: Chapter 1030:- Heavenly Tribulations and Bloodlust

”You don’t sit.” Hearing this, Alen felt bitter. He knew that he was being punished in front of his children. But what can he do about it? He respected Boris the most and feared Boris the most as well.

”Rest....all sit down.” Boris made Alen stand before his eyes.

Aditya’s mother looked at her husband and just sighed. Some things never change. But it was understandable. Boris was very strict, but his heart was very soft.

”Why did you exile my grandson?” It was no secret that Boris adored Aditya. Although he did not visit much, whenever he did visit, 90% of their conversation would be about Aditya. Boris would always advise Alen on things he should do for Aditya.

Things that are not good influences for the young Aditya.

Things that can help in shaping his character as the Emperor.

It was Boris who pushed for the idea of Aditya marrying the Seven Goddesses. With Boris standing behind Alen, no one was able to say no to the marriage contract.

And now that Alen had dared to exile that very grandson, obviously, Boris was furious.

Hearing Boris’s question, Alen’s expression became very awkward.

”Father, I believe we were being mind-controlled by Ren and the organisation behind Ren.”

”You are the emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire, which is the strongest Empire in the world, and you’re telling me you allowed some ‎Unknown and random organisation to take control of your mind.” Hearing this, the former Emperor Alen could not give any explanation. He could only lower his head further in embarrassment and shame.

Seeing his son like this only made Boris even angrier. If the person standing in front of him wasn’t his son, he would’ve already slapped whoever stood in his place half to death.

”Everyone except for him, leave the room. I want to speak to him alone.” Boris’s cold tone left no room for any kind of argument or persuasion.

For a moment, Rin even thought of secretly listening to their conversation. But seeing the stone-hard expression of Boris, Rin immediately dropped the idea. She could not help but feel that Aditya’s grandfather was too intimidating.

He might be the most intimidating person that she had ever met. ’Fortunately, he is on our side.’

Aditya’s mom wanted to say something to come to her father-in-law and make a stance for her husband, but even she did not dare to say anything. In front of Boris, especially when he was angry, even she lacked the courage to say anything.

’Fortunately, father did not ask me to stand with Alen.’

She silently gave her husband a pitiful look. Because she already knew that once they left the room, what was about to come would be a hundred times harsher. Boris ruled with an iron fist. He was very well known for his short and violent temper.

Boris also knew that he won’t be able to hold himself back. So he sent others out of the room. Because what he was about to do next or say next would make his son more embarrassed if others were present. Boris, although he was a man of a temper, still understood that he should not scold his son in front of others. Otherwise, he will lose face in front of his children.

And lose the respect that others have for him in their hearts.

Boris was a man who was ready to embrace death in a few decades. When he entered the Pocket Dimension, he had already found peace. He had said his farewells to everyone and was ready to spend the last remaining decades of his life alone while nature slowly consumed him to death.

But his son will remain here for a long time. Although his son made a huge mistake, he still did not deserve to be scolded in front of everyone. Boris did not

Reluctantly, everyone else left the room and arrived at the garden.

”Grandpa Boris is very strict.” Aditya said to his mom. In such a short time, Aditya felt that his bond with his mother had significantly improved.

”Well, your grandfather is a very tough man with anger issues. But he is very soft for his two sons.”

”That did not mean that he spoiled his sons rotten.”

”What reminds me. I never really asked about my uncle.” Aditya was talking about the current Emperor’s father.

”Was he like Ren?” Aditya couldn’t help but ask.

But his mom shook her head. ”In fact, he is the complete opposite of Ren.”

”Your Uncle was the second son. When your uncle was born, your grandmother and your grandfather, both of the cultivation had reached Peak Seventh order.”

”Because both of their cultivation was so high, your uncle was born with very high talent in cultivation. From birth, he was confirmed to be a once-in-a-lifetime genius in cultivation. But that also meant that the childbirth was even more painful.”

His mom, Elena, looked at the girls and said the next sentence to them so they could keep it in mind later. ”For instance, the reason why we never try to have another child is that while giving birth to Aditya, I nearly died.”

”Despite being the wife of the strongest Emperor, the mother-in-law could not survive childbirth.”

”Your grandpa doted more on your uncle because he was more talented in cultivation and had the same temper that Boris had.” In fact, I heard some old Elders that your second uncle was an exact copy of young Boris.

”Within the main continent, he was the number one undisputed genius of his time. Despite there being a gap of almost 150 years between the ages of your father and your uncle, your uncle was still able to surpass your father at the age of 25 in cultivation.” Hearing this, the girls were stunned.

Aditya himself could not hide his shocked face.

”Fate can be really cruel.” Elena sighed in sadness.

”Unfortunately, he failed to overcome the Heavenly Tribulation.” When he reached Peak 6th order, he took a break of 15 years just to prepare for this Heavenly Tribulation, but he still failed to pass the Heavenly Tribulation.

”Why is it the case?” Aditya could not help but ask. In his opinion, Heavenly Tribulation was overhyped and over-feared by the masses.

From his question, she instantly understood that her son was still clueless about these things. So, as Mother, she decided to patiently explain.

”Heavenly Tribulation power depends on the cultivator’s talent, overall strength, and most importantly on the bloodlust.”

”Your uncle became the general of the Celestial Dragon Empire at the age of 24 and led many successful campaigns against foreign forces that tried to threaten the peace of the Celestial Dragon Empire. As a result, your uncle had built up a massive bloodlust force.” Meaning, His uncle had killed a huge number of people to suppress the rebels or foreign forces.

”One important thing is that Heavenly Tribulation is stronger for those cultivators who have strong bloodlust. Stronger the blood lust, stronger will be the Heavenly Tribulation.”

”So he failed and died?” His mom nodded with a sad look. He died just after a few months of Ren’s birth.

”Was there no way of saving him?” Aditya asked again. His expression looked grim.

Elena shook her head. ”Every reputable alchemist and healer came, but he did not live past 36 hours of the Heavenly Tribulation.”

”The Tribulation completely destroyed his cultivation and crippled him forever, and left him in a state where his internal organs were rapidly deteriorating. We had 36 hours to try, but we couldn’t do anything.”

”Alen and Father both did everything in their power. But it was not possible. Failing to pass the Tribulation had severely damaged your uncle’s soul and put him in a comatose state. He could not even say farewell to his loved ones.”

Before Aditya could ask any further questions, the girls surrounded him. ”Aditya, you are not allowed to do any unnecessary killing from now on.”

Hearing this, Elena frowned. She felt something wasn’t right here.

”Why is that?” She asked.

”That’s because, for his cultivation, Aditya has already developed a terrifying Killing intent.”

”What.....!!!” Elena felt like the whole world was collapsing on her.

”It’s safe to estimate that he had killed over 30 million.” Hearing this, Elena almost collapsed to the ground if Rin had not held her from behind.

”Mom, are you alright?” Aditya crouched down.

”Not even your uncle had killed this many.” Aditya’s total killing count was almost 3 times higher than his uncle’s.

The implication was clear. If his uncle, who had killed 10 million, could not survive the Heavenly Tribulation that one faces when going from Peak 6th-order to Beginner 7th-order, then how could Aditya, who had already killed over 30 million, have any hope of passing the tribulation?
