Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 1004 1004:- Timeskip

Almost two months quietly passed without anything major happening.

For Aditya and everyone around him, life was fulfilling. There wasnʼt a moment when life became boring.

The Dragon Palace remained lively with everyoneʼs presence. After reaching Level 3, the Dragon Palace, the floating Island became the most iconic landmark of the Istarin Empire. Just to see the floating island, countless people from all over the six continents began coming.

Countless had the desire to see what was inside the Dragon Palace. Unfortunately for them, the Dragon Palace was the home of the Dragon Monarch, not an amusement park for them to come and visit.

From time to time, Julia and Aliciaʼs parents came to visit and even stayed a day or two. Or sometimes the girls went and stayed with their parents for a day or two. With teleportation arrays, travelling long distances wasnʼt an issue, so everyone could return to their parentsʼ home at any moment they wanted.

Everyone understood the seriousness of the upcoming battle that was inevitable and silently worked hard to get stronger. This upcoming war will test the limits of the Istarin Empire and everyone related to Aditya. So it was better to prepare while they still had time. Everyone worked very hard with that mindset.

In this period, the number of Dragonians steadily increased under Adityaʼs command. Now the army of the Dragon Monarch was bigger than ever. Also, the oldest Dragonians ranks were increased. By giving them more drops of blood, they evolved into more powerful Dragonians.

At the same time, all across the Six Continents, Aditya sent his men to recruit Dragons.

9 Dragon tribes across the Continent were recruited. Recruiting these Dragon tribes across the land and oceans was very easy. To every Dragon, fighting for the Dragon Monarch was the ultimate honour.

Once these Dragon tribes visited the Dragon Palace, they pledged their loyalty to the Dragon Monarch. Aditya turned them into Dragon warriors.

In the wild, hundreds of Wild Dragons were also recruited. These Dragons were also turned into Dragon warriors. Unlike the Dragon Tribes, whom Aditya let continue with their life, these wild Dragons were immediately added to the Imperial Military.

The Dragon Tribes had the freedom to settle anywhere in the Empire. Each month, the tribes would receive a certain baseline of cultivation resources and a limited quota was allocated for their cultivators to come and cultivate inside the Dragon Palace for one month. For the Dragon Tribes, this was a special privilege that Aditya granted them. They did not need to join the army and wait in line to get their chance to enter the Dragon Palace and cultivate inside. Aditya did this to show goodwill and build stronger connections with these tribes. Not to mention, the Dragon Palace outer court had expanded to be able to host 300,000 cultivators at the same time.

Allowing people to use the outer court for cultivation was a huge waste. And the more they improved, the better it was for the Istarin Empire.

And when the time came for battle or war, adult, powerful members of these tribes would need to join the military and fight.

By these methods, Aditya significantly increased the Empireʼs overall military strength, ensuring that even if he was away, the Empire could still fight any threat and defend itself with minimal casualties.

It took him 29 days to become a five-star runemaster. The moment he became Five-Star Runemaster, the Emperor started obsessively working on new things. There were already a ton of ideas in his head that he wanted to implement in his empire, but because of his four-star rank, he was limited; his hands were tied.

But now that the shackles around his wrist have been broken. As a Five-star runemaster, there were countless things for him to do. But for now, he decided to only focus on the most urgent things that needed an upgrade.

The first thing that he worked on after becoming a five-star rune master was making two kinds of artefacts.

One of these artefacts would create rain that heals his citizens. This artefact worked by mixing three healing potions, which are five-star potions, with the rainwater to create a certain kind of healing rain that would heal any mortal. This artefact would be especially useful in case the citizens of this empire were attacked by an enemy force, and a lot of people were injured.

Instead of waiting for healers to come and heal them, any normal soldier could just activate this artefact. Within a few minutes of the activation of the artefact, healing rain would pour from the sky, covering an area of almost 500 m. Because the healing potion is being diluted into the rainwater, the effect of the healing potion wonʼt be as strong, but it still should be enough in desperate times to save a lot of lives and prevent casualties.

The second artifact he created on the same day was the Anti-Gravity Field. When this artifact is activated, it remains active for a duration of ten minutes. During this time, the weight of the Istarin troops and all allied soldiers fighting alongside the Empire is reduced by 50%, making them lighter and more agile in battle.

At the same time, the artifact can also be used in reverse. When activated in this manner, it increases the weight of enemy troops by 50%, making them heavier, slower, and less effective in combat.

Once he was done experimenting, he finally calmed down a little and began focusing on the things that are more essential.

The first change that he made was that he upgraded all the rune formations around the Dragon Palace, and also added a few extra new formations.

One of the new formations that he added was light reflection. The Dragon Palace would reflect the lights from its surroundings and become completely invisible to the eyes of the public. This invisibility worked on normal people as well as on cultivators.

The next thing that he started working on was upgrading all the defensive formations of all the major cities of the empire. The previous defensive formations that he personally built in every major city were not good enough.

In his opinion, every major city of his Empire should be powerful and strong enough to defend against attacks from even a peak fifth-order cultivator. The whole process took almost 20 days. He continuously worked without taking any breaks. He moved from city to city. Eventually, after 20 days and 20 nights of nonstop work, he finished everything very quickly without making any mistakes.

Every time he upgraded a cityʼs defensive formation, the cityʼs guards would test it in various ways and then report back to Spencer. The protocol was that if there was any issue or problem with the new, upgraded defensive formation, then the Emperor would come back to fix it, but that issue never came up.

Once he was done with all the major cities of the empire, Aditya finally took some time off to rest and also spend time with his women. But he couldnʼt help but make one more artifact.

He also created another artefact in his free time.

This artefact was impressive in its own right. Once this artefact, which is more like a teleportation array, was activated, it would teleport 15,000 soldiers to an operatorʼs location. The coordination of where the soldiers will teleport has been set by Aditya, and this is the only way of teleportation.

It was not that he could not build a two-way teleportation artefact, but given the small size and the enormous power needed to activate and transport 15,000 soldiers at once to a desired location, this artefact can only be used once and one way.

Once the news of Aditya becoming a 5-star runemaster reached the ears of his allies, they all invited him to their Empires to upgrade their defensive formations to be able to withstand attacks from Peak 5th-order cultivators.

But Aditya first prioritised his own Empire. Once he was done, he took a few daysʼ break where he barely did any rune engraving work and instead focused on his duties as the Emperor and spent most of his remaining time with his women.

Then, he went on a tour around all the capitals and major cities of his allies. It took another 20 days to complete his work of upgrading all the defensive formations. Aditya did not keep himself busy with constant rune works. He had done this for his Empire but not for others. He did that in his free time and only till dinner.

Once he was done, he spent the remaining days working on making new artefacts for almost everyone in his family, including Spencer and Aria. He also spent a few hours every single day training his skills to make sure he properly understood the extent of his current skills and physical abilities, and also the best way to utilise them in a battle
