Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 1029: Chapter 1029:- Old Emperor Boris

”So this is the pocket dimension where all elders and previous emperors of the celestial dragon empire are resting.”

The pocket dimension was very refreshing to look at since they had directly come here from the Dragon Mountain range, which was a place that was surrounded and covered in a blanket of tense purple fog.

The entire Pocket Dimension was a place with endless greenery and beautiful flowers. There were so many flowers in this place that the air itself carried a rich, soothing fragrance.

”Wow, this place is so pretty.” As girls, all three were instantly attracted by the countless flowers. There were flowers of all colours and sizes. The trio could not help but go in three separate directions to check out various flowers.

Aditya remained standing in his place. He was admiring everything. This place felt like a paradise.

’A perfect place for those old immortals to rest.’

The sky was a beautiful blue.

The Mana in this Pocket Dimension was richer. Everything in this world felt so peaceful and calm. Just being here made Aditya forget his worries and feel like he should enjoy the moment.

’I wish I could have bought everyone here. This would have been a perfect spot for a picnic.’

Aditya can already imagine what would happen if others were here at this moment.

As the Goddess of Nature, Riya would love this place.

Julia might immediately go and look for rare flowers.

Lara might play with Clara.

Lilith will definitely lie under the shade of a tree and sleep.

Sasha might try to look for flowers with poison.

Leo might just stand beside Aditya and enjoy everything.

”It’s bigger than I thought.” Athena’s senses barely covered 1/10000th of the entire pocket dimension. Which meant this pocket dimension was so huge that her senses only spread up to 0.01% of the total area.

”It’s the resting place of the top powerhouses of the celestial dragon empire. I would be surprised if this place were small like a typical pocket dimension.”

”There were some who chose to die in this place.”

”They would willingly come to this place and enter a state where they release their Mana into the atmosphere. In a few decades, they take their final breath and peacefully pass away.”

”This explains why the Mana density in this place is so high.”

”But I don’t understand why they end their own life when the very core of cultivation is to gain immortality.” Rin could not help but ask.

”Saying that the core of cultivation is immortality is wrong. In this society, cultivation is more important than money. It’s not about immortality. It’s about gaining power so as not to be bullied by those who have cultivation.”

”If the thing that we all use to cultivate one day disappears from this world, then this whole world will look completely different.” Aditya’s words put the girls into deep thought.

”In fact, in the long-term, it might actually be a good thing if Mana disappeared from this world. There will be less violence. This unfair society, where normal people are treated like they belong to the bottom of society, will change.” The cultivation world was a very unfair world. The strongest can do anything, while mortals have no choice but to endure everything.

”Is that why you are so against corruption in your Empire?” Athena asked.

Aditya nodded his head. That was one of the main reasons.

”Alright, let’s look for Grandpa.” That was the trickiest part. They had to be extremely careful so that they would not disturb anyone else. The people who slept here were so powerful that anyone could kill them and wipe them out before they could birth their next thought.

”Do you know where Grandpa Boris is?” Rin asked.

”My dad told me to keep heading in the direction of north. Eventually, I will come across a large lake that has a floating island on top of it.”

Scene Change_____

Eventually, the group reached the location of Boris’s resting place. It was a huge Mansion on a floating Island.

In the biggest room of the Mansion, Boris was silently sleeping. There was no one else in the Mansion other than him.

An old, handsome man opened his eyes. The moment his deep blue eyes opened, his gaze fell on Aditya.

The old man was as tall as Aditya. His appearance kind of resembled Aditya’s. He also had long white hair that was dishevelled. He wore a white Kimono, which signalled that he was ready to move on to the next life.

”Grandpa, I am...!!”

”I know.” The old man simply cut him off. He then sat up and looked at the girls behind him.

He recognised the girls.

He had met Athena and Laura back when they were really young.

Last time, he came out of this place and went to see how things were going, he had taken time to meet Rin when she was born.

”My grandson, why are you here?” Boris knew that Aditya wouldn’t be here without a reason.

”I am here for you.” Boris signalled Aditya to sit on the edge of the Aditya.

Seeing this, Aditya sat down.

”Tell me what happened?” He asked in a very serious tone.

Meanwhile, the girls looked at each other. As expected of the man who ruled the Celestial Dragon Empire for more than 20,000 years. The moment he opened his eyes, the atmosphere of the room became very serious.

”My cousin Ren became the Emperor....!!”

Hearing this, Boris instantly frowned.

”Why did Alen allow that brat to be the Emperor?” The number of times Ren met Boris, he had failed to leave him with a good impression. As someone who had ruled the Celestial Dragon Empire with an iron fist, he could see that Ren was never worthy of being the Emperor. And the reason for it was simply that Ren was too greedy for the Throne.

This is why Boris left Alen with the warning that unless Ren changes, he should not be allowed to the Emperor. But that warning was before Aditya was born. And after Aditya was born, regardless of what kind of man Aditya grows up to be, Boris had told Alen to make his grandson the Crown Prince and eventually give the Throne to Aditya.

Hearing Boris’s response and seeing the frown on his face, Aditya smiled bitterly. Although he had met Boris only two times, one time was during his birth, and the second time was when he was just five, he had nothing but fond memories of his grandfather.

”Grandpa, it’s going to be a long story.”

”Then you’d better start fast.” He also then signalled the girls to sit down.

But before Aditya could begin, Boris noticed something, and then a proud smile appeared on his face.

”Very good. You have managed to awaken Divine Dragon Blood.” Hearing this, Aditya was stunned. But then he felt he shouldn’t be so surprised. After all, when Boris ruled the Empire, even a fly had to take his permission before flying over the Celestial Dragon Empire.

Aditya felt that the Celestial Dragon Empire reached its peak under Boris’s rule.

”The fact that you have awakened the Divine Dragon Bloodline itself should immediately qualify you as the rightful Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire.”

Aditya, for a moment, did not know where to begin. He did not want to begin with the part where he was exiled from the Empire. But for him to understand the whole story, that part needed to be added.

”But since you have made this difficult journey to come see your grandpa, I guess this matter is way bigger than an issue.” Aditya nodded his head.

Aditya’s story left Boris super angry. At the end, he was barely controlling his Immense killing intent.

But even then, just whatever that was leaking out of his old body was making them feel suffocated.

Boris took a deep breath to control his emotions.

He coldly looked at Rin. ”Summon that brat to the Spiritual World. I want to meet him.”

When everyone met in the spiritual world, Alen saw Boris looking at him coldly, and Athena and the girls found his expression funny.

The proud Emperor looked terrified of his father.

Rin brought them to the living room of the Dragon Palace. This whole time, Boris, Aditya, or Alen did not speak. All three generations remained silent.

After Boris sat down, Alen was about to sit down.

”You don’t sit.” Hearing this, Alen felt bitter. He knew that he was being punished in front of his children. But what can he do about it? He respected Boris the most and feared Boris the most as well.

”Rest....all sit down.” Boris made Alen stand before his eyes.

Aditya’s mother looked at her husband and just sighed. Some things never change. But it was understandable. Boris was very strict, but his heart was very soft.
