Chapter 352: Chapter 352: Fighting Evil with Evil

HISS!

The onlookers were astonished. Was Ye Xiu openly challenging the Ye Family? Wasn’t he afraid of enraging them and bringing about his own death?

”Ye Xiu, you are seeking death!” Fei Yihong said, his face dark and his voice cold. ”You’re well aware that with just one phone call, you’ll have no way out. I advise you to immediately put down Fei Xiang...”

”Cut the crap. By the time you finish your nonsense, Fei Xiang will have suffocated,” Ye Xiu interrupted.

”Grandpa, Grandpa, save... save me... Give... give Ye Tianming a... a call...” Fei Xiang gasped, dangling from Ye Xiu’s grip on his neck. It felt like being hanged, and he was about to suffocate.

”Alright, Ye Xiu, you’re digging your own grave,” Fei Yihong said, furious. He took out his phone, dialed Ye Tianming’s number, put it on speaker, and sneered at Ye Xiu, ”I want you to hear Ye Tianming himself order someone to come and kill you.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Ye Tianming’s voice came from the phone. ”Elder Fei, why are you calling me?”

”Elder Ye, I’m on Qingfeng Road! Ye Xiu has taken my grandson Fei Xiang hostage! Please send someone quickly to save him, I’m begging you!” Fei Yihong said, his voice laced with anxiety as he struggled to suppress his rage.

”Ye Xiu took Fei Xiang hostage, and you’re calling me for what? Are you trying to get the Ye Family killed?”

Ye Tianming hung up.

Fei Yihong stared at his phone, dumbstruck. Fei Xiang was dumbstruck. The members of the Fei Family and everyone else present were all completely stupefied.

They weren’t fools. From Ye Tianming’s words and his terrified, angry tone, they could clearly tell that he feared Ye Xiu.

My God! Ye Tianming was the newly-anointed War God, and he was actually afraid of Ye Xiu?

”Fei Yihong, don’t just stand there gawking. Since Ye Tianming won’t help, you’d better hurry up and plead with someone else. Any more delay and Fei Xiang will really suffocate,” Ye Xiu urged, feeling quite pleased. It seems the Ye Family is so frightened by me that they have no will to fight back.

”Divine Doctor Ye, spare us!” Fei Yihong scrambled over to Ye Xiu, dropped to his knees with a THUMP, and began kowtowing frantically, wailing for mercy. ”Divine Doctor Ye, I was blind not to recognize your greatness! I was a blind fool! I shouldn’t have threatened you or intimidated you. Please, be the bigger man and forgive our foolishness. Spare the Fei Family...”

At that moment, Fei Yihong was genuinely terrified. Even Ye Tianming was afraid of Ye Xiu. Before a man like that, the Fei Family was nothing. It would be all too easy for Ye Xiu to crush them.

”Ye Xiu, Divine Doctor, I’m begging you, please spare my son! He’s still young and doesn’t know any better...”

”Divine Doctor, you are the great Medicine King Xuanse, a man of immense magnanimity! Please, just treat Fei Xiang as someone beneath your notice and let him go! I beg you, I’m kowtowing to you...”

Fei Xiang’s parents also ran over, kneeling before Ye Xiu and banging their heads on the floor as they begged for their lives.

Fei Xiang wanted to beg for mercy too, but he couldn’t even speak now. His face was a deep purplish-red from the lack of air, and he was on the verge of death from suffocation. He was enveloped by the shadow of death, his heart and soul filled with terror. At the same time, he was overcome with immense regret for looking down on and provoking ’Wang Dazhuang’. If he had known that Wang Dazhuang was Ye Xiu, if he had known that even Ye Tianming feared Ye Xiu, he would never have dared to provoke him, not even if it meant death.

Watching the Fei Family kneel and beg before Ye Xiu, the Jin Family and the onlookers felt not an ounce of pity.

In their eyes, Fei Yihong and Fei Xiang deserved this! They had hounded ’Wang Dazhuang’ and even used the Ye Family to threaten and intimidate Ye Xiu. Now that they’ve confirmed the Ye Family dares not provoke him, they’re on their knees begging for mercy! Heh. Truly shameless!

”Spare you? If I weren’t Ye Xiu, if Ye Tianming had chosen to help your family, would you have spared me?” Ye Xiu casually threw Fei Xiang to the ground. He stared coldly at the Fei Family members, who were still kneeling before him and kowtowing like mad. ”A single falling leaf signals the coming of autumn. From this one incident alone, it’s not hard to imagine how many innocent people Fei Xiang and the rest of your Fei Family have bullied or even killed. If I spare you today, who knows how many more good people will die at your hands in the future. You see, I have a particular fondness for fighting fire with fire, so...”

At this, Ye Xiu snapped his fingers.

Everyone present then saw a cold, ruthless young man walk in.

”Raid the Fei Family’s estate. Send all of them to the City of Asura to shovel manure,” Ye Xiu ordered.

”Understood!” Mo Luo nodded. He turned his cold gaze upon the Fei Family and said, ”Follow me. Anyone who tries anything clever will be killed on the spot!”

As he spoke, he slammed his palm onto the ground, leaving a palm print so deep its bottom couldn’t be seen.

At the sight of this, the Fei Family members shuddered as one. They didn’t dare beg for mercy any longer. Just being allowed to live was like receiving a grand pardon. One by one, they scrambled to their feet and followed Mo Luo out of the Jin Family’s residence.

Seeing this, everyone who remained wore an expression of profound shock. A conflict sparked by a mere slap had led Ye Xiu to raid the entire Fei Family and banish them to the City of Asura. Such a ruthless punishment made them tremble, but at the same time, their reverence for Ye Xiu deepened.

”Elder Jin!” Ye Xiu said, walking up to Jin Peng with a smile. ”I am your junior, Ye Xiu. I’ve come today hoping for a cup of your birthday wine. I trust you won’t find my presence unwelcome?”

Jin Peng was stunned for a moment. He hadn’t expected Ye Xiu to be so polite to him, treating him with the respect due an elder. Flustered and incredibly flattered, he stammered, ”Welcome, of course, you’re welcome! Oh, Divine Doctor Ye, you overwhelm me with honor. I could never have dreamed that you would come to celebrate my birthday. With you here, this will be the most prestigious birthday I’ve ever had...”

This renowned and respected entrepreneur of Qingfeng Road was now as giddy as a child before Ye Xiu, his words tumbling out incoherently. But no one present laughed at him. On the contrary, they were practically dying of jealousy. For the Divine Doctor himself to visit and pay respects as a junior, what a tremendous honor this was for the Jin Family!

”Elder Jin, you’re too kind,” Ye Xiu laughed, then pointed to the No. 1 raw stone and asked, ”As for the birthday gift I brought for you, are you satisfied with it?”

”Satisfied, very satisfied... I’m extremely satisfied...” Jin Peng’s face was beaming, and he felt as if he were glowing with honor. He had never felt so glorious in his entire life. The Divine Doctor personally came to celebrate my birthday and even brought such a massive piece of beautiful jade as a gift! If word of this gets out, who knows how many people will die of envy!

”Divine Doctor Ye even brought a gift?” Jin Ming was startled, then felt overwhelmingly honored. ”My goodness, Divine Doctor Ye, your presence alone gives my father and the Jin Family immeasurable face! There’s no need for any gifts, haha...”

Jin Ming was smiling so hard his mouth was practically crooked. The onlookers were all green with envy.

”Elder Jin, the No. 1 raw stone is only half of the gift I’ve brought you,” Ye Xiu smiled and said to Jin Lian, ”Go to the car and bring my sword.”

”Oh, oh!” Jin Lian hurriedly scampered off.

Jin Peng and the others were perplexed for a moment.

”Half?” Jin Peng, grinning from ear to ear, said sheepishly, ”Divine Doctor Ye, you’re far too generous. For such a large piece of jade, I already feel unworthy. As for the rest, please, let’s forget it.”

”Indeed, Divine Doctor Ye! This piece of jade is already incredibly valuable. Your coming to celebrate my father’s birthday has already given the Jin Family more honor than we could ask for. There’s no need to go to any further expense,” Jin Ming said, so moved he was on the verge of tears. He was simply overjoyed.

Just then, Jin Lian ran back in, carrying the Dragon Sparrow Sword.
