Sects of various sizes had taken on the tasks of building all 64 altars. After the news was spread in all directions, they left the place.

However, Lu Ye made all the Ward Cultivators stay.

He had taught everyone how to build the Sky Mending Platform. Despite that, considering the mastery of these Ward Cultivators, it would be difficult for them to grasp the essence. If he let them go without giving them some guidance first, they might not succeed.

Therefore, he made them stay to clear their doubts about building the altars. He had to make sure that nothing would go wrong with all 64 altars.

Three days later, all the Ward Cultivators left the Valley of Medicine and headed to where they were supposed to go.

On the other hand, Lu Ye took Yi Yi and Amber to go to the Heavenly Gully. There was only one main altar, and the rest were supplementary altars.

The core altar had to be built directly beneath the Heavenly Gully, so Lu Ye would be responsible for constructing that. The three major Sects had sent the materials needed to build the altar to that place in advance, and many people were waiting for Lu Ye to arrive and take charge of the task.

The entire Soaring Dragon Boundary was fervent about it. Mountains that rarely anyone visited in the past were now full of cultivators as the huge altars were erected.

It could be said that they had to exhaust their resources to build these 64 altars. Sects of different sizes opened up their vaults and provided all sorts of precious resources. Only then could they ensure that the altars would be built speedily.

It was the first time Lu Ye took charge of such a major event. Even though he was regarded as the saviour, he still felt immensely pressured. Beneath the Heavenly Gully, he never got any rest as he was fully focused on building the altar. Naturally, Yi Yi was worried about him.

Fortunately, after getting the World’s Source from Ye Liuli, Lu Ye was now full of strength. Even though the task was taxing, he didn’t feel tired.

He was able to put his mastery of the Way of Wards to good use. When he built the Grand Ward in the Valley of Medicine, it was meant to pay for the medical fees to the Divine Healer, but he was also trying to practise what he had learned. It was no different this time. Taking charge of such a Grand Ward would significantly improve his mastery of the Way of Wards.

In his mind, he still had a lot of information he hadn’t yet managed to digest. That was the reward from Hundred Wards Tower.

As days passed, the progress of building the altar was rapid.

The good news was sent to him from all directions. Everyone in Soaring Dragon Boundary put aside their differences and worked together sincerely. As such, it only took them half a month to finish building their respective altars, and only the core altar Lu Ye was responsible for was still in progress.

During this period, they did not see any anomaly coming from Blood Boundary or the Blood Race.

Following Lu Ye’s astonishing attack that day, Blood Boundary’s attachment to Soaring Dragon Boundary had become weaker, making it extremely difficult for Blood Race members to come to this world.

Previously, the Heavenly Gully Cult had built the Blood River Grand Ward to help them come over, but no one would do that now.

Even if they did nothing, it wouldn’t be easy for Blood Race members to descend to Soaring Dragon Boundary. As such, they didn’t have to worry about Blood Race members posing any threat now.

One day, the Sun was up in the sky, which was void of any clouds.

Under the Heavenly Gully, Lu Ye was seated on the 300 metres tall altar. The core altar was successfully built two days ago. They had gotten everything ready, so they only had to wait for the Grand Ward to be activated.

Everywhere in the world, there were people seated on the altars. Some altars had two to three people and some had four to five people. All of them were Ninth-Order Cloud River Realm Masters who looked sincere and devoted. They had closed their eyes for some rest to ensure that they were in tip-top condition.

There came a moment when Lu Ye suddenly opened his eyes as the transmission stone in his hand vibrated. He placed it beside his ear to listen and kept it before rising to his feet.

[It’s about time.] He looked up at the Heavenly Gully and muttered under his breath, “Please lend me a hand one more time.”

Following that, he stepped forward and stood in the centre of the altar. Then, he activated his Spiritual Power and infused it into the altar.

Like a stone dropping into a still lake, layers of ripples spread with him as the centre.

As that happened, some patterns were seen glowing. Those were the patterns carved on the altar. The glow started beneath his feet and spread across the entire altar like wildfire.

Many cultivators looked on from a distance. As the complicated patterns around the altar glowed and became visible, they cheered. They had no idea if things would go well for them, but at the very least, it was off to a good start.

When the entire altar was alight, the Spirits Stones inside it were being consumed rapidly.

Therefore, even though the entire thing appeared mighty, Lu Ye didn’t have to exert himself. The power he had activated was meant to get everything started. The power that kept the altar running came from the Spirit Stones that had been placed inside it in advance.

Just then, a dull thud was heard coming from the altar, sounding like a huge heart beating. When the cultivators heard the sound, their expressions changed as they subconsciously covered their chests.

As that happened, an invisible force spread in all directions across thousands of kilometres with the altar as the centre.

On the altar in Gan Zhou, with Guang Jing as the head, several Ninth-Order monks were seated with their eyes closed as they fiddled with the beads in their hands and chanted.

When the invisible force, which resonated and spread through the different altars, reached them, Guang Jing opened his eyes and announced, “It has started!”

The well-prepared monks activated their powers and infused them into the altar at the same time.

The altar in Gan Zhou soon went through a transformation similar to the one Lu Ye had constructed.

“It has started!” Yuan Changcun shouted from the altar in Li Zhou. The powerful cultivators from Grandeur Academy quickly activated their powers.

“It has started!”

“It has started!”

…

The cultivators scattered around the world soon noticed it and hurriedly actuated the altars.

At that moment, invisible force fields, with the different altars as the centres, proliferated in all directions.

Initially, the proliferation was out of sync. After all, not all the altars were activated at the same time. But as time passed, the invisible force fields seemed to resonate with one another. In just an hour, the proliferation of the force fields from all the altars was in perfect sync.

As the forces crisscrossed one another, an abstruse Grand Ward that encompassed the entire Soaring Dragon Boundary was constructed.

The transformation wasn’t noticeable to the others, but Lu Ye, who was in charge of the main altar, could see everything with clarity. He drew a deep breath, readying himself for the next move that would determine whether they would succeed or fail. Although he had done everything he could, he was still anxious at this moment.

“Start!” he ordered from the altar.

As soon as he finished speaking, the world started buzzing.

He felt his soul getting elevated again, but it was different from when he had activated the Dragon Throne back then. At that time, he was suddenly strengthened by an external power, which far exceeded the limit he could bear, but that allowed him to see the things around him differently with a heritage that was far more powerful than his own.

The elevation this time was even more astonishing.

In a daze, he felt as if his soul had covered the entire Soaring Dragon Boundary. He could clearly feel the presence of every altar.

Everything was silent, and time flowed mutedly in his mind. The entire world seemed to have come to a standstill. But he knew that time did not stop. Instead, his mind had broken free from the restraints of this world.

His strength hadn’t come to a point where it was inconceivably powerful. He was able to pull off such a feat because of Ye Liuli’s last gift. She had given Lu Ye the World’s Source.

The mysterious power didn’t only replenish his exhausted Source, pulling him back from death’s door, but it also allowed him to utilise the World’s Power as best as he could.

If one compared the World’s Power to a blade, the World’s Source Ye Liuli had given to Lu Ye was like the hilt to the blade. He was now holding the hilt of the World’s Sword and wielding the World’s Power.

Before constructing the Sky Mending Platform, the cultivators had the same doubt. Who could activate the Grand Ward, which encompassed the entire world, even though it was divided into 64 altars?

Even if the legendary Divine Ocean Realm Masters were reborn, they wouldn’t be able to pull off such a feat. Although Divine Ocean Realm Masters indeed couldn’t achieve that, Lu Ye was capable of doing that.

Strictly speaking, only when he was in the Boundary would he have the capability to achieve that.

When he wielded the World’s Sword that was the Soaring Dragon Boundary, the entire world buzzed.

Lu Ye came to his senses and looked up at the Heavenly Gully above him. His sharp gaze seemed able to penetrate the barrier between the two Boundaries and looked into Blood Boundary.

“Get lost!” A growl reverberated across the world. It was the wrath of the world.

As soon as he finished speaking, the entire world trembled. The Grand Ward, which was constructed from the invisible force fields, was activated to utilise the World’s Power, which formed into an attack that struck the Heavenly Gully.

*Boom!* A thud sounded at the bottom of the hearts of all living creatures in this world.

At that moment, Soaring Dragon Boundary seemed to have a life of its own as its body shuddered. Everywhere in the world, the ground shifted and the mountains shook.

The commoners, who were oblivious to the situation, fell on all fours and prayed for the Heavens to ensure their safety.

Although the cultivators were aware of what was going on, they were still shocked by the deafening noise.

Another buzz was heard before they could come to their senses as the world trembled once again.

The same thing happened again and again as if it was doomsday. Anomalies took place everywhere in the world. The dormant volcanoes erupted, waves swept through the rivers, and tsunamis rose above the oceans.

On the core altar, Lu Ye stared fixedly at the Heavenly Gully and continued to activate the Grand Ward to utilise the World’s Power.

He had never been more solemn and nervous in his life. That was because by leveraging the World’s Power to fend off Blood Boundary’s attachment, he didn’t only face immense pressure; if he couldn’t achieve his goal quickly, a calamity would break out in Soaring Dragon Boundary. By then, the world would be destroyed before they could even get rid of Blood Boundary.
