Over a hundred people from Heavenly Gully Cult had come all the way here to hunt Huang Liang down. There were more than ten Elders, and the rest of them were not weaklings.

Given such a formidable formation, no one in Soaring Dragon Boundary could fend them off. If Huang Liang hadn’t run away sooner, he would’ve lost his life.

However, at this moment, such a group of people were powerless to deal with Zhuang Bufan, who was clad in an Armour Golem. They were easily destroyed.

Around ten breaths of time later, all the cultivators from the Cult outside the Valley of Medicine were killed. Apart from the red tall figure, not even a single corpse was intact.

It was universally acknowledged in Jiu Zhou that an Armour Golem was the best item when it came to boosting a cultivator’s power. The average Spirit Artifact wasn’t comparable to it at all.

The Divine Ocean Realm Master from Thousand Gear Pavilion was able to deal with someone who was several Minor Realms ahead of him with the help of a half-body armour, not to mention the Dragon Throne, a legendary full-body armour.

The power that Zhuang Bufan had showcased in such a short time far exceeded the scope of the Cloud River Realm. Even the average Real Lake Realm Master wasn’t as powerful as he was.

However, everyone knew that he must’ve paid a huge price.

After killing all the enemies in sight, the red figure turned into a ray of light again and charged forward at the speed of lightning. He soon disappeared from everyone’s sight.

The direction was where the Sixth Elder, Yun Haitian, had fled.

No one knew what happened next. However, the Sixth Elder Yun Haitian had never appeared in front of anyone again since then.

The moment the red figure left, Lu Ye realised something and ran after him.

Several minutes later, he found the remains of a battlefield in an open space that was two hundred kilometres away. The ground was covered in blood and broken bones.

Neither Yun Haitian nor Zhuang Bufan was in sight.

Only the ball the size of a baby’s skull was lying on the ground. The ball looked ordinary at first glance. It was as if it was only a stone with a slightly strange shape. Even if someone passed by this place, they wouldn’t pay attention to the ball without knowing what it was.

The divine item had disguised itself as something ordinary.

Lu Ye picked up the ball from the ground. Much to his surprise, the ball was lightweight, and it wasn’t as solid as he thought.

By now, he had figured out everything that was on Zhuang Bufan’s mind in his last moments.

He wasn’t willing to slowly wither and die. Compared to dying silently, he would rather burn brightly and solve the crisis for the Valley of Medicine.

More importantly, he wanted to use this way to tell Lu Ye how dangerous the Dragon Throne was.

That was because he knew that even if he never revealed it, Lu Ye would still find the Dragon Throne after his death. Rather than letting Lu Ye try out the Dragon Throne’s power, he decided to show him the divine item’s power in the last moments of his life.

He had thought about hiding the Dragon Throne from everyone.

Nevertheless, he was in a horrible state, so he might not be able to do it on his own. Anyway, a divine item like the Dragon Throne shouldn’t be hidden forever, especially when those from Heavenly Gully Cult had done such an inhumane thing. It seemed that something major was about to happen in Soaring Dragon Boundary.

It would be best if Lu Ye had the Dragon Throne in his possession. Even if he couldn’t defend himself, he would have the power to go to Hell with the enemies he couldn’t defeat at the very least.

That was Zhuang Bufan’s kind intention. It could be considered his way of returning the favour to Lu Ye and the others for taking care of him for the past few days.

In fact, his injury was caused by the Dragon Throne when he tried out its power.

After he acquired the divine item, he activated its power out of curiosity, which resulted in him suffering serious damage. At that time, he had only activated the item’s power without using it to fight anyone.

It was the only time he used the Dragon Throne to destroy his enemies, and it was also the best attack he had ever cast in his life.

Zhuang Bufan’s corpse was nowhere in sight, and even his Storage Bag was missing. The blood and broken bones on the ground belonged to Yun Haitian. It was as if Zhuang Bufan had vanished into thin air.

As Lu Ye looked at the Dragon Throne in his hand, he tightened his grip.

An hour later, he returned to the Valley of Medicine.

Ye Liuli looked nervously at him. “Sixth Brother, is Big Brother Zhuang…”

Lu Ye glanced at her. “Brother Zhuang achieved the thing he had wanted to do.”

In an instant, Ye Liuli covered her mouth as tears streamed down her cheeks. Yi Yi hugged her and patted her to give her some comfort.

“We do have many incredible heroes in Soaring Dragon Boundary!” Huang Liang let out a sigh. Although he still had no idea who Zhuang Bufan was, he respected the last thing the latter had done for them.

It was just like how he respected Fa Hua and Liu Tianyi.

Life and death were normal among the cultivators. However, when faced with a life-and-death situation, how many of them could remain calm and collected? How many of them could have no complaints despite knowing that they were bound to die?

Fa Hua and Liu Tianyi were people of that kind. Zhuang Bufan could be considered one as well.

The crisis had been solved just like that.

“Why don’t you tell me more about the Dragon Throne, fellow cultivator?” Lu Ye gazed at the Divine Healer, who looked identical to Hua Ci. He knew little about Soaring Dragon Boundary. After all, he wasn’t the real Ye Six. He was just a cultivator from Jiu Zhou.

Anyway, even the real Ye Six might not be aware of the Dragon Throne.

“Let me tell you about it,” Huang Liang offered. It wasn’t that he was a busybody. Since the Divine Healer was treating his injury, he didn’t want the woman to get distracted.

“The Dragon Throne is an ancient item. Rumour has it that the divine item doesn’t come from Soaring Dragon Boundary because the materials needed to make it seem to belong to a real Dragon. However, no one knows if it’s true.”

As Huang Liang narrated the entire story, Lu Ye got to know more about the Dragon Throne.

Although there were Divine Ocean Realm Masters and Real Lake Realm Masters in Soaring Dragon Boundary in the past, the level of their martial world was the same as that in Jiu Zhou.

There was no way Divine Ocean Realm Masters could kill Dragons, let alone use their bodies to make Armour Golems.

A Dragon had been confined to One Hundred Peaks on the Spirit Creek Battlefield. The Dragon Scale in Lu Ye’s possession was given by the Dragon.

That was why Huang Liang said the materials needed to make the Dragon Throne seemed to come from a Dragon, but no one knew if it was true. Nevertheless, Lu Ye had a feeling that it was true.

Since he had a real Dragon Scale, he detected something the moment he came into contact with the Dragon Throne.

Moreover, as far as he was concerned, there were no Golem Masters in Soaring Dragon Boundary. Perhaps some cultivators would craft some small mechanical items, but those were crafted using artifact-refining techniques. It wasn’t the inheritance from the Golem Masters.

Although there were no Golem Masters in Soaring Dragon Boundary, a powerful Dragon Throne existed in this world, which went to show that something was off.

The legend about the Dragon Throne had been circulated around for many years.

The records in Soaring Dragon Boundary stated that the Dragon Throne had appeared many times before, but it would cause the world to descend into turmoil every time. Also, the divine item would also disappear quickly without a reason.

According to the records, when one was covered in the Dragon Throne, he would turn into a red tall figure who was ferocious and bloodthirsty. It was the most inauspicious thing in the entire Soaring Dragon Boundary.

Since the appearance of the Heavenly Gully eight hundred years ago, the state of the martial world had been deteriorating over the generations. The inheritances of many Sects had been cut off. Perhaps only the three major Sects still had some records about the Dragon Throne.

As for how the Divine Healer was aware of the Dragon Throne, it was a mystery.

To Lu Ye, the woman was shrouded in mystery.

For example, why did two identical-looking people appear in two different worlds? One was in Soaring Dragon Boundary while the other was in Jiu Zhou.

Lu Ye didn’t think it was a coincidence.

He had been busy building the Grand Way in the past few days. Although it had been completed, he wasn’t in a hurry to leave the valley.

First of all, Zhuang Bufan couldn’t move around with ease. Secondly, Lu Ye wanted to find out more about the Divine Healer.

Since it had something to do with Hua Ci, he had to pay more attention to it.

“Little friend, the Dragon Throne is a divine item. If your temperament doesn’t match the divine item, you’ll pay a huge price for using it. You’ve witnessed what the fellow cultivator ended up being. As such, you’d better not use it on a whim,” Huang Liang said with a heavy heart.

The three major Sects had been looking for the Dragon Throne over the years. It wasn’t that they wanted to occupy it; they just wanted to seal it somewhere.

After all, the Dragon Throne would cause the world to descend into chaos every time it appeared, which would result in countless cultivators losing their lives.

If they could find it and seal it, there would be fewer crises in the martial world.

“Also, the Dragon Throne…” Huang Liang suddenly caught himself and shook his head. “Forget it. There’s no point saying it.”

Lu Ye pursed his lips as he was displeased with people who wouldn’t finish their words.

“I didn’t find the Dragon Throne,” he said impassively.

Huang Liang was startled for a moment before coming to his senses. He nodded and replied, “It’s for the best that you didn’t find it.”

If the news of the Dragon Throne’s whereabouts was leaked, countless people would try to snatch it. Something major was about to happen in Soaring Dragon Boundary. The three major Sects had made a joint announcement to declare war on the Heavenly Gully Cult in Xue Zhou.

At such a critical moment, Huang Liang didn’t want any incident to distract everyone’s attention.

Since Lu Ye didn’t admit to finding the Dragon Throne, Huang Liang wouldn’t probe him further.

Anyway, he managed to survive this time because of Lu Ye and Zhuang Bufan. He was the Sect Master of the Imperial Sect, so he wouldn’t harm those who had helped him before. Naturally, he wouldn’t covet someone else’s treasure.

Presently, he was more concerned about something else.

His Master Li Sa had passed away. Fa Hua and Liu Tianyi were killed under the Heavenly Gully, this returning the luck to the Soaring Dragon Boundary. Since something major was about to take place, the new bearer of the world’s luck would appear and save the world from destruction.

[Could this guy be the one?]

He had never seen anything like the Grand Ward in the Valley of Medicine before. There was no way a Cloud River Realm Master could build it.

Moreover, the Dragon Throne appeared and eventually fell into Lu Ye’s hands. Huang Liang couldn’t be blamed for associating the two incidents together.

Also, while being hunted down by the cultivators from the Cult, he inadvertently arrived at this place and eventually survived. Was it really a coincidence instead of the Heavens’ instruction?

All the signs led to something. Although Huang Liang had some speculation, he couldn’t verify it. He reckoned that only time would tell.

As he recalled the Heavenly Gully Cult, he couldn’t help but let out a sigh.

Certainly, the Cult wasn’t powerful enough to go against the entire martial world of Soaring Dragon Boundary. However, if the war broke out, many people were bound to lose their lives. The martial world of Soaring Dragon Boundary couldn’t withstand another round of turmoil.
