The Blood Race members’ target had always been Soaring Dragon Boundary, not the cultivators living in this world.

The reason they even hunted the cultivators down a while back was to weaken their power. However, not only was their attempt futile, but they also suffered immense losses. As such, they decided to put the matter aside for the time being.

Moreover, it wasn’t easy to move from one world to another world. Even though they had the Heavenly Gully Cult and the Blood River Grand Ward to help, only a small number of Blood Race members could enter Soaring Dragon Boundary in the first batch.

As such, they had to build the altar as quickly as possible so that they could let Blood Boundary fully attach to this world and bring more of their clansmen over.

Once their goal was achieved, they would be able to destroy Soaring Dragon Boundary in a short time.

While the Blood Race members wailed in pain, the one selected by the Divine Healer narrated everything.

Things were more severe than they had previously thought.

From the limited information they had gathered, Huang Liang and the others thought that the enemies were merely invading them. In that case, they could just come up with a way to fend off the enemies.

Now, it seemed that the Blood Race members didn’t only intend to occupy Soaring Dragon Boundary. The biggest threat came from the imminent full attachment of Blood Boundary.

There was no doubt it was a calamity targeted at this world.

Moreover, everything had happened too suddenly, catching the cultivators in this world off guard.

Previously, they had transmitted the news through various channels. As such, all the cultivators were aware of the Blood Race members’ existence. Nevertheless, only a small number of people knew what was truly going on.

With a solemn expression, Yuan Changcun said, “It’s a serious matter. We have to inform everyone about it.”

They had to let the cultivators in this world know what enemies they were facing and the situation they had to deal with. Only then would the cultivators understand that they couldn’t back down when dealing with the Blood Race members. Cowardice would only lead everyone to destruction.

In the past two days, many cultivators were heading to the north to fight the invaders after the three hegemons made an announcement. Nevertheless, there were also some ill-intentioned people who were ready to side with the Blood Race.

They believed that since those from Heavenly Gully Cult could work for the Blood Race, they could do the same. Perhaps the future path that the Heavenly Sage had found for them wasn’t as bad as everyone thought.

However, if they found out the real plan of the Blood Race, they might change their minds.

Huang Liang and Guang Jing nodded in agreement. They certainly wouldn’t hide such important information. In fact, they should spread it as widely as possible.

“We have to hurry up.” Huang Liang appeared worried. “We have to act faster than them and make sure they can’t finish building the altar. Once it is completed, Soaring Dragon Boundary will be destroyed!”

Initially, with the Grand Ward in the Valley of Medicine, they had a frontline that could be used against the Blood Race. Now, it seemed that the Grand Ward was no longer useful.

Those from Soaring Dragon Boundary didn’t have the right to be passive. Instead, they had to take the initiative to attack the enemies. Even if many of them would be killed, they had to stop the Blood Race members from completing the altar.

As they spoke, there seemed to be an anomaly in the distant Void.

Realising something, they turned to look in Heavenly Gully’s direction and saw a dazzling blood light. It was as though a blood river was pouring down from the sky.

A Blood Race member, who was shrieking, started laughing all of a sudden. “Our helpers have arrived. All of you are… doomed!”

The Divine Healer glanced at him and lifted her hand, after which several needles jabbed into his body, causing him to wail even harder.

Seeing that, the other Blood Race members were terrified, thinking that the woman was more appalling than any living creature they had ever seen.

Initially, they didn’t know what was going on with the Heavenly Gully, but upon hearing the Blood Race member’s words, they realised the situation had gotten worse.

There were not a lot of Blood Race members in the first batch, and many of them had lost their lives in the battle in the valley. If those from Soaring Dragon Boundary had come together and gone attacking them at that time, they might’ve been able to stave off the Blood Race members.

Nevertheless, since their enemies had some helpers now, it was difficult to achieve their goal.

Huang Liang and the others were frustrated.

After giving it some thought, they realised it was useless even if they had acquired the information sooner. That was because it took time for them to gather the cultivators together. Given such a short time, they were unable to launch such a large-scale war.

In fact, many cultivators were still rushing to Xue Zhou. It would take some of them one to two days to arrive at their destination while the rest would need three to five days.

Huang Liang and the others left in a hurry. They had to spread the information they had just obtained so that the other cultivators would hasten their pace.

Now, only Lu Ye, the Divine Healer, and the guards were left.

The Divine Healer looked at the Blood Race member, who had revealed everything, with a smile. “I won’t go back on my word.”

The Blood Race member let out a sigh of relief, after which a Saber Light flashed across his eyes.

Then, another Saber Light was seen, and the rest of the Blood Race members stopped wailing.

With that, Lu Ye put his saber back into the sheath.

The Divine Healer stared at him in shock. “Why did you kill all of them?”

She had said that whoever revealed the information they needed first would be killed sooner. Lu Ye’s action made her look like she had gone back on her word.

“Since we’ve gotten the information we need, there’s no use keeping them. They’re noisy,” Lu Ye explained impassively. At the same time, he emptied his mind and checked his Battlefield Imprint.

It was said that he now had twenty-nine thousand seven hundred and eighteen battle points.

The number of battle points could be traded for two Golden Amulets.

He was full of hope when he entered Soaring Dragon Boundary a while back. That was because following his experience in Myriad Beast Domain, he knew that in a Hidden Realm with a world of its own, he stood a chance to obtain battle points.

Previously, he had acquired a lot of battle points from the Lost City of Xianyuan. However, not long after that, he traded them all for Soul Cleansing Water.

The deal was worth it. After all, he could obtain battle points through other channels, but Soul Cleansing Water was only found in the Lost City of Xianyuan.

It was because of his rewards in the Lost City of Xianyuan that he had the confidence to take on the challenges in Hundred Wards Tower, which gave him even more rewards.

Nevertheless, a regret remained in his heart because the most pressing issue for him was to trade the battle points for the Amulets to increase his cultivation.

Only then could he protect himself on the Cloud River Battlefield.

Initially, he thought that Soaring Dragon Boundary would be a chance.

However, the outcome was disappointing. He had killed some people, but his Contribution didn’t even increase one bit, let alone his battle points.

Anyway, the surprise came when he least expected it.

When the Blood Race members invaded this world and attacked the Valley of Medicine, he controlled the Grand Ward from the centre and worked with the other cultivators to kill the enemies. Not only did he make a name for himself, but he also obtained a lot of battle points.

During the battle in the valley, none of the Blood Race members were directly killed by Lu Ye. They were destroyed by the cultivators with Lu Ye’s coordination.

Despite that, no one could deny that he had made a huge contribution during the battle. He speculated that it was the reason he even acquired so many battle points.

The ways of getting battle points and Contribution were different.

One could only acquire Contribution by killing the enemies, and it also depended on the kind of enemies.

Nonetheless, one didn’t have to kill the enemies with his hands to obtain battle points. When a person made a contribution during a battle, he could also acquire battle points. The Heavens would be the judge.

Although Lu Ye didn’t directly kill any Blood Race members during the battle in the valley, he was the main reason they managed to defeat the enemies. That was why he got a massive amount of battle points.

He recalled that after he left the Lost City of Xianyuan, he was only left with eight hundred and thirty-six battle points. Now, it was close to thirty thousand points, which went to show that the rewards he had acquired in the Valley of Medicine were immense.

To Lu Ye, the Blood Race members were equivalent to battle points. Since there was a way to easily obtain battle points, he certainly wouldn’t hesitate to go for it.

Every battle point mattered. Moreover, the death of four Blood Race members had given him close to two hundred battle points, which could be traded for one White Amulet.

While inspecting the Battlefield Imprint, he received a message all of a sudden. He took a look at the message, after which he grabbed the Divine Healer’s wrist and dashed towards the hut. “Liuli is struck with the illness again!”

The anomaly at the Heavenly Gully and the arrival of new Blood Race members reflected on Ye Liulis’ figure once again.

They soon arrived at the hut. The Divine Healer went over and treated Ye Liuli. It took her some effort to stabilise her condition.

After leaving the hut, she saw Lu Ye looking at the Heavenly Gully with total focus. She approached him and asked, “What’s on your mind?”

Lu Ye replied calmly, “We can sew and mend tattered clothes, but how are we supposed to heal a broken sky?”

Although he was asking a question, he already knew the answer.

All the signs showed that if he wanted to cure Ye Liuli, he had to make the Heavenly Gully disappear.

The formation of the Heavenly Gully was correlated to the attachment of Blood Boundary. As such, if he wanted to heal the sky, he had to make the Blood Race members retreat and get rid of Blood Boundary.

Without Blood Boundary sucking in the heritage, the Heavenly Gully would gradually disappear, and the sky would heal.

To achieve his goal, there was something he had to do.

He had to defeat the Blood Race members and make sure they wouldn’t dare to invade Soaring Dragon Boundary through the Heavenly Gully again.

At this point, he came to realise that the ultimate goal of his trip to Soaring Dragon Boundary was to heal the sky.

If he could complete the task, he could get significantly more battle points than what he had acquired in the Valley of Medicine.

He also understood why the entrance to this Hidden Realm was a damaged Teleportation Ward.

The entrance was apparently a test.

Only when one managed to repair the Teleportation Ward would he have the right to enter this Hidden Realm and carry out the plan of healing the sky.

Lu Ye already had a vague plan in mind, but to execute it, he needed a lot of help.

With that said, he was glad that when facing such a calamity, every cultivator in Soaring Dragon Boundary could react swiftly and be united. It was thanks to the three major Sects, which had been around for a long time.

Furthermore, Huang Liang and the others had been friendly to him for the past few days, which reduced the friction as he carried out his plan.

News about the Blood Race and Blood Boundary was still being circulated among the cultivators. The three hegemons had revealed even more detailed and horrifying news.
