It wasn’t until now that they figured out the appearance of the Heavenly Gully was the reason the cultivation world experienced a downturn.

Therefore, all the cultivators in Soaring Dragon Boundary were furious.

Over the past eight hundred years, countless bright people were born in this world. However, due to the decreasing limit, they faced tremendous obstacles in their cultivation journey. It didn’t matter in the past since they didn’t know the reason. Now that they had found out it was all because of Blood Boundary being attached to this world, they were naturally enraged.

The ultimate goal of Blood Boundary was to suck the heritage of this world dry. In that case, Soaring Dragon Boundary would be doomed.

When a nest fell to the ground, there was no way the eggs would be intact. These cultivators understood that if Soaring Dragon Boundary was dead, all of them wouldn’t survive.

If they wanted to live, they had to kill all the Blood Race members.

At that moment, all the cultivators in this world were hostile against the Blood Race members, who came from another world. They were determined to destroy them.

Under the Heavenly Gully, a lot of Blood Race members came together, causing the place to reek of Blood Qi.

The blood in the Blood River Grand Ward that covered a radius of dozens of kilometres had evaporated. However, blood stains remained in the ditches.

The 300-metre-tall altar was now replaced by an even bigger altar.

The altar came in a hexagonal shape. The abstruse patterns on it kept appearing and disappearing, making the altar look like a living creature. The flickering lights were like the altar’s breathing.

There was no doubt the Blood Race members were efficient.

It had only been a few days since they invaded Soaring Dragon Boundary, but they had already set up such a complicated altar. The materials needed to build the altar were taken from Blood Boundary.

It was apparent that it wasn’t their first time doing it, so they were skilful. Some Blood Race members were responsible for hunting down the enemies or defending the base. There were also some who focused on building the altar.

The moment the altar was completed, a blood light shot into the sky and entered the Heavenly Gully. Following that, a blood river came pouring down as though the Heavenly Gully was bleeding. Then, a lot of Blood Race members arrived in this world.

Xing Mo and the one-armed Cheng Henfeng stood behind the Heavenly Sage as they looked at the sight from afar with conflicted feelings.

There was no doubt they were lucky enough to have survived the previous conflict.

However, they weren’t sure if they should feel glad or furious, given their current state.

The Blood Race members had planted a special Secret Technique inside them. According to the Blood Lord, it was the Blood Slave Seal. Whoever was planted with this seal would be their Blood Slave.

Undoubtedly, it was a form of humiliation for top cultivators like them to be someone else’s slaves.

Despite their fury, they didn’t dare to rebel.

Besides the fact that the Blood Race members had showcased a heritage that made them feel despondent, the seals they had planted in them could easily determine their life or death.

Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng could feel that with the seals around, any Blood Race member, even if he was much weaker than them, could easily kill them.

It was the same case for the Heavenly Sage and the surviving members of the Heavenly Gully Cult.

Now, they were the slaves to the Blood Race.

“Heavenly Sage, is this the future path you’ve found for us?” Xing Mo said bitterly.

They had paid a huge price for it. Even if they had found the future path, it was meaningless.

The Heavenly Sage remained silent. Nevertheless, both Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng could feel that he was uneasy.

When some Blood Race members passed by, the three of them quickly saluted them in a respectful manner.

After suffering a setback, they now knew how to behave when facing these Blood Race members.

“Save me, Cult Master!” A shriek was heard all of a sudden. Xing Mo turned around and saw a Blood Race member grabbing a fair-skinned woman as she screamed in horror.

She was the Thirty-First Elder as well as one of the rare powerful female cultivators in the Cult. Usually, she was a feisty woman, but she appeared helpless at this moment.

Oblivious to her plea, the Heavenly Sage never straightened his back.

Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng gritted their teeth as their fury burned within them, but they didn’t dare to act on a whim.

The Blood Race member grinned and bit the Thirty-First Elder’s neck. As a gulping sound was heard, the Elder’s shriek weakened until it eventually died down.

After the Blood Race member satisfied his needs, he tossed the Thirty-First Elder to the ground and left the place. She was originally a beautiful woman, but now she was just a withered corpse.

The cultivators of Heavenly Gully Cult had survived the previous battle, but they couldn’t survive the Blood Race members’ torture. Over the past few days, many of them had lost their lives.

To the Blood Race members, these Blood Slaves were no different from livestock, whose lives could be taken away as they pleased. No Blood Race members would care about their feelings.

What was even more horrifying was that these Blood Race members loved to drink blood.

There were all sorts of people in the Heavenly Gully Cult, including the evildoers. Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng had seen countless evil people before, but there was a limit to the members’ wickedness.

They would never dare to think about drinking Human blood.

However, from what they had observed, every Blood Race member seemed to have this habit or ability. They could strengthen themselves by drinking Human blood.

In the past few days, Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng had seen some Blood Race members looking greedily at them.

Fortunately, they had been following the Heavenly Sage, whose Blood Slave Seal was planted by the Blood Lord. As such, the average Blood Race member wouldn’t dare to do that to them for the time being.

Nevertheless, no one could guarantee they would always stay safe.

“Huh?” Xing Mo detected something and looked in the distance, only to see a lot of large ships coming into sight. Many cultivators stood on the decks while some of them flew alongside the vessels.

“They’re finally here.” Cheng Henfeng let out a breath.

Since the Blood Race members had invaded Soaring Dragon Boundary, there was no way the cultivators here wouldn’t do anything about it.

Initially, the cultivators were caught off guard, and many of them were injured or killed. Then, they were hunted down by the Blood Race members.

Those from Heavenly Gully Cult had no idea what happened, but the Blood Race members were almost wiped out. Only several hundred people managed to flee and come back.

Several days had passed, so the cultivators from the allied forces must’ve gathered some useful information. Faced with such a calamity, they would certainly take action.

Presently, there were countless Spirit Ships in sight. The scale was much larger than when they came over to destroy the Heavenly Gully Cult a while back.

Regardless, the previous battle was merely internal strife, but this time, they had gone all out in an attempt to get rid of the invaders.

[Please destroy everything quickly!]

Cheng Henfeng thought bitterly. For some reason, he felt relieved at that moment.

Certainly, the Blood Race members could hear the noise of those cultivators. Instead of feeling afraid, all of them were high-spirited.

They were from Blood Boundary, so it was only natural that they didn’t have any regard for these cultivators, whose limit was the Cloud River Realm.

The Blood Race members had destroyed many worlds that were similar to Soaring Dragon Boundary. In the long history of Blood Boundary, it had sucked countless worlds like Soaring Dragon Boundary dry, and those lands were eventually turned barren by the Blood Race members.

They didn’t make a move previously not because they were afraid of these cultivators but because they couldn’t leave.

Now, they were pleased that the cultivators from Soaring Dragon Boundary came asking for death.

As a Race whose foundation was built on pillage, they were significantly more ferocious and bloodthirsty than the cultivators in Soaring Dragon Boundary.

Without the need for the Blood Lord to give an order, a lot of Blood Race members started taking action.

Despite being high-spirited, they didn’t take the initiative to attack. Instead, they were ready to defend themselves by forming an intricate and sturdy defence line.

Now, their most important task wasn’t to kill the enemies but to protect the altar.

Since the altar had been successfully built, Blood Boundary and Soaring Dragon Boundary would be even more closely related. As time passed, more Blood Race members would arrive in this world.

If they could build even more altars, they could accelerate the process. The more altars there were, the shorter the time it would take Blood Boundary to suck in the heritage of this world.

The Heavenly Sage had been silent for the past few days as if he had become mute. All of a sudden, he said, “Do whatever you want to do. Stop following me around.”

Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng were shocked for a moment before saluting him. “Thanks, Cult Master!”

Based on their observations for the past few days, they realised that they would become some Blood Race members’ food sooner or later. As the Heavenly Sage was connected to the Blood Lord, the Blood Race members might look down on him, but none of them dared to drink his blood.

Nevertheless, Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng weren’t so lucky.

If they wanted to survive, they had to leave this place.

There was no doubt that the attack of these cultivators was a good chance.

The Heavenly Sage had said such a thing because he had seen through their minds.

After thanking him, the two of them turned around and left.

Just then, the Heavenly Sage extended his hands and activated his Spiritual Power before striking them.

Upon impact, the two of them were sent flying away as they respectively sprayed out a mouthful of blood.

Xing Mo spat out some broken pieces of his organs. When he turned around in shock, he saw the Heavenly Sage’s icy expression. Both sorrowful and enraged, he barked, “You’ll die a horrible death, Heavenly Sage!”

On the other hand, Cheng Henfeng didn’t curse at him. He unsheathed his sword and covered several Blood Race members with his Sword Lights.

He had fully activated his power in the last moments of his life. Even the space seemed to have been fragmented. The unsuspecting Blood Race members directly turned into pieces. The incisions were straight and smooth.

However, that was the best he could achieve.

The next moment, Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng stiffened all of a sudden. Their skin turned red as though their blood was boiling.

Some Blood Race members had activated the Blood Slave Seals in their bodies.

The rest of the Blood Race members charged forward and surrounded them.

Separated by the crowd, Cheng Henfeng could see a blood light flashing across the Heavenly Sage’s eyes. Only then did he realise the Heavenly Sage’s mind had been influenced by the Blood Race’s Secret Technique. As such, he was loyal to the Blood Race. It was unlike Xing Mo and Cheng Henfeng, who were merely pretending to be loyal because they had been planted with Blood Slave Seals.

At the same time, the other Blood Race members started taking action against the surviving members of the Heavenly Gully Cult.

Shrieks were continuously heard, but all the noise died down in several breaths of time.

The Blood Race members then left the place, leaving behind some withered corpses on the floor.

All of them became even more thrilled as if they had just experienced a blood sacrifice ritual.
