Lu Ye no longer looked as frail and ailing as before. The young man that stood before Huang Liang seemed healthier than the first time they met.

Perhaps it was an illusion, but Huang Liang felt that Lu Ye was like the centre of this world even though the latter just stood there.

“Are you Ye Six, little friend?” Yuan Changcun asked tentatively.

He had just said that Lu Ye had been relieved of his suffering, but the other party appeared before his eyes the next moment. Moreover, Lu Ye had become energetic again, unlike how listless he was previously.

It was understandable that there might be someone in the world that looked like Lu Ye, but the young man had Yi Yi and Amber by his side. Therefore, he must be none other than Ye Six, the famed saviour.

“It’s me. It’s a long story. I came across an opportunity when I was wandering outside, so I managed to survive,” Lu Ye explained, but he didn’t let them in on the details.

An elated Huang Liang said, “That’s wonderful!”

He had felt sorry for Lu Ye’s situation, thinking that someone like him shouldn’t have passed away so soon. Now that Lu Ye had returned alive and kicking, he was naturally joyful.

Once again, he became certain that Ye Six was the saviour who bore the World’s Luck. He didn’t die despite his severe injury, and before his demise, he had come across an opportunity that pulled him back from death’s door. There was no doubt he was extremely lucky.

It seemed that he had been blessed with the entire Soaring Dragon Boundary’s Luck.

“We should celebrate the occasion by drinking some wine.” Yuan Changcun sported a smile, eager to express his elation by casting his Book and Sword Technique.

“Seniors, please ask the Sect Masters and Ward Cultivators of existing Sects in Soaring Dragon Boundary to come to the Valley of Medicine for a discussion. I might’ve found a way to solve the crisis,” Lu Ye said.

Upon hearing that, Huang Liang and Yuan Changcun were stunned.

“Are you serious?”

Following the battle beneath the Heavenly Gully, although they managed to get a chance to take a breather, the threat of everyone getting destroyed wouldn’t go away before they could get rid of Blood Boundary.

Beneath the Heavenly Gully, the Ward Cultivators had built some Wards, so the Blood Race members wouldn’t dare to descend from it. However, even if they stay put, Blood Boundary would continue to absorb Soaring Dragon Boundary’s heritage. As time passed, the Boundary would go on losing its heritage and Source until it was eventually destroyed.

Faced with such a situation, they were powerless to do anything; they could only wait for death. As such, the two of them were naturally ecstatic to hear such good news from Lu Ye.

“We can give it a try.” Lu Ye didn’t give them any promise. After all, he wasn’t sure if the plan would work out as he had never done it before.

Even though Lu Ye didn’t promise the plan would be a success, all the cultivators in this world were thrilled upon learning the news.

Following the announcement of the three major Sects, the Sect Masters led the Ward Cultivators from their Sects to head to the Valley of Medicine.

After the battle beneath the Heavenly Gully, everyone became aware of Ye Six of Tyrant Blade Manor.

Putting aside his identity as the saviour, the fact that he was the owner of the Dragon Throne made him one of the most influential figures in the Boundary. His mastery of the Way of Wards was also unrivalled in this world.

Since he was willing to try to solve the crisis that might lead to their demise, the Sects were naturally willing to cooperate.

“All of them have arrived, Lu Ye.” Yi Yi’s voice sounded from outside. Inside the hut, Lu Ye opened his eyes, which radiated a shrewd glow.

It had only been two days since he returned to the Valley of Medicine, but they had gotten everything ready, which went to show how efficient they were.

During this period, he had been staying inside the hut to comprehend some abstruse stuff. The abstrusity came from Ye Liuli’s gift before she departed.

Before Ye Liuli disappeared, she had shown him the birthmark on her back, but it was already different from what Lu Ye remembered it looked like. There were some mysterious patterns around the birthmark, and they had something to do with the secrets of the Way of Wards.

Given Lu Ye’s eyesight, he wouldn’t forget what he saw. While on his way back to the valley, he had been comprehending the secrets behind the patterns.

That was why he had the confidence to tell Huang Liang and Yuan Changcun that he might have the solution to the crisis.

Although his Mastery of the Way of Wards was indeed peerless in the Boundary, he was unable to settle the calamity facing this world on his own. Nonetheless, with the last gift from Ye Liuli, he might be able to achieve his goal.

Before the battle beneath the Heavenly Gully even started, he had asked the Divine Healer a question. He said that while they could stitch up torn clothing, how were they supposed to mend a broken sky?

At that moment, he came to the realisation that the ultimate goal of his trip to Soaring Dragon Boundary was to mend the sky.

For a very long time, he hadn’t had a clue about what he was supposed to do until he saw Ye Liuli’s birthmark for the last time.

Ye Liuli was the carrier of the World’s Will, so the patterns around her birthmark were the evolution and derivation of the World’s Will. They were also the key to mending the sky.

After all, Divine Ocean Realm Masters once lived in the Boundary back then. Although the current generation of cultivators had forgotten about the past glory, the world itself would remember it. That was why the World’s Will was able to devise a move to mend the sky.

However, considering Lu Ye’s power, he wasn’t able to put the plan into action on his own. He needed to use the help of all the brilliant cultivators in the Boundary.

After stepping out of the hut, he saw that many people had gathered as they turned to look at him. All of them saluted Lu Ye, including people like Huang Liang, Yuan Changcun, and Guang Jing. They were showing him respect for what he had done in the battle beneath the Heavenly Gully.

Lu Ye saluted them back and swept a glance over them before taking a look at the Divine Healer.

At that moment, he realised that something was off about the woman. He already had that feeling when he saw her for the first time. Not only did she look identical to Hua Ci, but she also had the same voice.

When he returned to the valley two days ago and saw the Divine Healer, she didn’t appear surprised at all. It was as though she already knew Lu Ye would come back alive and kicking.

She only teased Lu Ye in a way he was most familiar with. “Oh, you’re still alive.”

Lu Ye almost thought that she was Hua Ci.

Although he knew something was off about the woman, he was also certain that she posed no threat. If she had any ill intentions, he and Ye Liuli would’ve been killed long ago.

After pushing his thoughts to the back of his mind, Lu Ye said, “Fellow cultivators, I’ve asked you to gather here to discuss how to solve the crisis facing the Soaring Dragon Boundary. I’m sure all of you understand that although we’ve fended off the Blood Race members, we’ll never be at peace before we manage to get rid of Blood Boundary, and they will strike again sooner or later. When that happens, we might not be able to ward off the Blood Race members, considering that we’ll be much weaker by then.”

Although there were a lot of cultivators, they listened to Lu Ye attentively. No one interrupted him.

It wasn’t until Lu Ye finished speaking that Huang Liang said, “Since we’ve gathered here, little friend, we’ll trust you unconditionally. If you have a solution, please tell us about it, and we’ll do our best to cooperate.”

Yuan Changcun nodded. “That’s right. We’re faced with a life-and-death situation now. I’m sure all of us will work together to solve the crisis.”

The rest of the cultivators expressed their agreement.

Only then did Lu Ye dip his head with satisfaction. “In that case, I’ll start talking about my plan. There’s only one way to solve the crisis facing Soaring Dragon Boundary, which is to get rid of Blood Boundary. Following 800 years of attachment, this world has lost most of its heritage. It didn’t actively get rid of Blood Boundary 800 years ago, and it’s unlikely that this world can do that now. As such, we have to take the initiative to enhance the World’s Power to achieve our goal.”

“How do we enhance the World’s Power?” someone asked.

“We have to use some Wards as the foundation to utilise the World’s Power.”

Lu Ye raised his hand, after which some cultivators leapt forward and erected a huge jade tablet in front of him. The jade tablet was carved with complicated patterns with uneven parts and meandering lines.

This was apparently the map of the Soaring Dragon Boundary. The uneven parts were the mountains, and the meandering lines were the rivers.

Lu Ye had asked the Imperial Sect to create this jade tablet.

He pressed his hand against it and activated his power. In an instant, 64 points glowed on the jade tablet. These 64 points were scattered around different parts of the Soaring Dragon Boundary. If they connected these light dots, it would form a picture that encompassed the entire Boundary.

“I need all of you to create the altars in designated locations in different Zhou. I’ll give each of you a scroll with instructions on how to build the altars, so you just have to refer to that.”

All of them remained silent and looked intently at the light dots on the jade tablet.

Everyone could tell that it was a huge undertaking, which was unprecedented in the history of Soaring Dragon Boundary. If such a Grand Ward was successfully built, it would cover the entire world.

When Lu Ye said they had to use some Wards as the foundation to utilise the World’s Power, they didn’t understand what he meant. It wasn’t until they saw the jade tablet that they came to their senses.

If they succeeded, they could indeed make use of the World’s Power to fight Blood Boundary’s attachment. As for whether they would get rid of Blood Boundary, they would only find out by then.

No cultivator in Soaring Dragon Boundary could ever come up with such a Grand Ward that would encompass the entire world. Even if they managed to build it, no one could activate such a Grand Ward.

Even if Divine Ocean Realm Masters were reborn, they would still be unable to pull off such a feat.

Amidst the silence, Guang Jing announced loudly, “Vajra Temple will be responsible for building the altar in Gan Zhou.”

“Grandeur Academy will build the altar in Li Zhou, then,” Yuan Changcun said.

“The Imperial Sect will build the one in Yuan Zhou.”

After the three major Sects took on the tasks, the smaller Sects followed suit. Since they were less powerful than the three major Sects, several Sects would be responsible for building one altar.

Just a moment later, the builders for all 64 altars were confirmed.

“Cultivator Ye, does this platform have a name? What should we call it?” someone asked.

With a dark gaze, Lu Ye looked at the Heavenly Gully in the north and replied gently, “Sky Mending Platform.”
