The blood light coming from the southeast of Soaring Dragon Boundary crashed into the blood sea and formed a vacuum area without stopping.

When a shriek was heard, the blood sea retracted and revealed the old Blood Race member’s figure. This person, who haughtily criticised the Blood Lord when he arrived in this world, seemed to be badly injured. The flesh around the wound on his abdomen was rolled up, and blood just wouldn’t stop streaming out of it. His face was pale, and his eyes trembled.

“What’s that!?” Disbelief was written all over his face.

Just like the Blood Lord, he was also a Divine Ocean Realm Master. Although he was also restricted by the limit in this world, which only allowed him to use the power of the Peak Cloud River Realm, he still had the heritage of the Divine Ocean Realm. As such, he didn’t think anyone or anything in Soaring Dragon Boundary could hurt him.

That was the reason he had the confidence to intercept the blood light.

Much to his surprise, he was horribly injured not long after he arrived in this world. If not for the fact that he had reacted swiftly, he would’ve been killed.

Why was there such a powerful item in this world?

When he lifted his gaze, he finally saw what the blood light was.

It was a saber that seemed to be made from blood, and its length was roughly five metres. The blade was uneven as there were bumps with a distance of thirty centimetres between them. A blood light was seen flowing on the blade. The saber seemed to have a life of its own. The flowing blood light was like its breathing.

As the weapon breathed, a ferocious aura permeated the place.

Presently, the colossal figure was holding the saber. The auras of the Armour Golem and the saber intertwined and became one.

Even if a person saw these two items for the first time, he could tell that they came from the same source.

“The Dragon Spine!” The old Blood Race member appeared horrified. When he arrived in this world, he was busy mocking the Blood Lord, who was his arch-nemesis. Therefore, he didn’t pay attention to the Dragon Throne.

It wasn’t until he saw the saber that he realised how abstruse it was.

A pure Dragon aura exuded from the scarlet figure, which was made from the body of a Dragon. The saber with bumps was made from a Dragon spine, and the bumps were the nodes of the spine.

The old Blood Race member’s expression changed drastically as his mind started buzzing. He finally realised why the Blood Lord suffered a setback in such a world.

“The Dragon Spine Saber!”

An injured Yuan Changcun, who was dealing with the Blood Lord along with his Junior Brothers, took some time to look at the blood-coloured saber in Lu Ye’s hand and recognised that it was the same as the one described in the records in Grandeur Academy. He instantly realised that the powerful item had also emerged.

On the other side of the battlefield, Guang Jing chanted the Buddha’s name with a conflicted gaze.

The Dragon Throne had two parts. One of them was the Dragon King Armour, and the other was the Dragon Spine Saber. In the entire Soaring Dragon Boundary, only fewer than ten people were aware of this secret. Everyone believed that the Dragon Throne was the Dragon King Armour, but that was a misconception.

When the Dragon Spine Saber appeared around two thousand years ago, it was suppressed by those from Vajra Temple. It wasn’t until this day that it emerged again.

Since the Dragon Spine Saber was called upon at such an opportune time, it showed that the Dragon Throne had acknowledged its rightful owner!

Beside the altar, the moment Lu Ye got hold of the saber, a savage aura spread across the place.

When Lu Ye had just activated the Dragon Throne, he was like a ferocious Dragon that had just awakened from his sleep. However, the moment the Dragon Spine Saber came to him, the Dragon was fully awake.

The Blood Race members, who had just broken through the defence line and came near Lu Ye, still hadn’t come to their senses when they were struck by the ferocious aura.

As if crashing into an invisible wall, they were sent flying away at a speed that was quicker than when they had arrived.

Even the cultivators from Soaring Dragon Boundary around Lu Ye had been impacted.

Soon enough, the area in a radius of one hundred kilometres around the Dragon Throne was empty.

With the power of the Dragon Throne alone, Lu Ye was unable to destroy the altar with one strike. As such, he had been conserving his energy. Regardless of how loud Huang Liang shouted, he didn’t make a move.

That was because he had been waiting for the Dragon Spine Saber’s arrival, and it finally came at that moment.

With the saber in his hand, he felt different. It was as though he was finally complete.

He turned around and lifted his saber before madly activating his power. At that instant, he felt like he had the world’s blessing. It was as though the entire Soaring Dragon Boundary was behind him and supporting him.

The sky changed as the dark clouds thickened. Deafening claps of thunder were heard.

His saber seemed to be resonating with this world. Lu Ye knew that it wasn’t an illusion. It was what was happening.

This world came to the realisation that the war would determine its future, so it unreservedly let Lu Ye borrow its energy.

His soul was being elevated infinitely once again.

Suddenly, he had the confidence that he was able to destroy everything in this world.

Regardless of what the thing was, as long as it was in this world, he could shatter it with the saber.

As everyone looked at Lu Ye, he struck the altar with the blood-coloured saber.

It was hard to describe the power of the attack.

The moment the saber struck, it was completely silent, but everything in the world seemed to have been shattered.

The entire world paled, and everything fell silent.

All the sounds, colours, and perceptions were gone. All they could see was the simple and unpretentious attack.

A moment seemed to have passed, but it also felt as if a million years had gone by.

*Boom!*

When the loud noise was heard, a red Saber Light broke out and slashed across the altar. The seemingly impenetrable altar was cut in half as if it was a piece of tofu.

The Saber Light was unstoppable as it shot towards the sky and slashed across the blood river that was pouring down from the Heavenly Gully.

Presently, many Blood Race members were still streaming out of the Heavenly Gully, but the moment the Saber Light struck, all of them were killed and gone with the wind regardless of how powerful they were.

Following the attack, the blood river evaporated and disappeared.

The next instant, the Saber Light penetrated the Heavenly Gully and entered the Blood Boundary.

They could faintly hear someone grunting from the other world. It was a mystery as to who was injured by the Saber Light.

The dark clouds dissipated as the scorching Sun shone on everything.

When the dust settled, the cultivators from both Races were still unable to come to their senses as they were still reeling from the shock of the attack. Prior to this, no one knew that someone could make such an attack.

The Heavenly Gully was still around, but the unfamiliar aura coming from the other world had become thinner.

This showed that Blood Boundary’s attachment to Soaring Dragon Boundary had become weaker.

“Kill them all!” ordered Huang Liang as he was the first one to come to his senses.

They finally saw the silver lining in a despairing state. This time, their hope wouldn’t be crushed again.

The altar had been destroyed, and the new batch of Blood Race members had been killed or wounded. As for whether all of them in Soaring Dragon Boundary would survive, it depended on the following battle.

The cultivators from this world shouted and charged towards the Blood Race members nearest to them even though they were wounded.

Since the altar was gone, the Blood Race members no longer had any support. Finally, they were flustered. With the Blood Boundary behind them, they could be reckless. However, at this moment, they could feel that their connection to Blood Boundary was weak.

That was the reason they were anxious.

In front of the altar, Lu Ye remained unmoving with the saber in his hand.

All his energy had left his body following the attack, and even the Spiritual Power in his Spirit Storage Ring was gone.

He could even feel that his vitality was rapidly leaving him.

The ferocity of the Dragon Throne didn’t only impact the enemies, but it would also oppress the user.

Under normal circumstances, a cultivator only had to use his own energy to control a Spirit Artifact. When he ran out of energy, he would no longer be able to use the artifact.

However, the Dragon Throne was different. Even when the user didn’t have energy left, it would still absorb everything it could, including vitality and Soul Power.

If not for the fact that Lu Ye had been staying still most of the time to conserve his energy, he would’ve lost his life after making such an attack.

Anyway, it was worth it.

The altar was destroyed, and the new batch of Blood Race members were either injured or killed. More importantly, the Blood Boundary’s attachment had been weakened.

Those from Soaring Dragon Boundary finally had the capital to go against the Blood Race members.

Besides the benefits that the cultivators in this world could enjoy, Lu Ye also gained a lot of insights.

If he could go somewhere quiet and comprehend the insights, his mastery of the Way of Blades would be enhanced.

Additionally, he came to the realisation that this world had a will of its own.

Perhaps the will was still in a vague state, but it was indeed a will. That was because when he wielded his saber, he could feel the entire world lending its energy to him.

Otherwise, his attack couldn’t have weakened the Blood Boundary’s attachment even though he could still shatter the altar.

It was because of the world lending its energy to him that the attack was so horrendous. To illustrate this, when Lu Ye wielded his saber, it was as though an invisible figure was standing behind him and holding the Dragon Spine Saber with him as they cast the attack at the same time.

The invisible figure was the vague will of this world.

Before this, he only had some speculation about such an inconceivable notion.

But now, his speculation had been verified.

That way, he finally had the answers to the questions he didn’t understand in the past.

For example, the Heavens in Jiu Zhou.

Soaring Dragon Boundary had a will of its own. Meanwhile, the Heavens in Jiu Zhou were everywhere. It affected the cultivation and survival of every cultivator in Jiu Zhou. It even gave birth to abstruse things like Contribution and battle points.

There was no doubt the world’s will in Jiu Zhou was more mature than that in Soaring Dragon Boundary. If one compared the two of them, it was like the difference between an adult and a foetus.

Lu Ye pulled himself together and saw the intense battle between the cultivators of both Races.

He had destroyed the altar and weakened the Blood Boundary’s attachment, which would delay the arrival of the other world and cut off the support for the Blood Race members. However, the war was far from over.
