Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Not to mention the talent of his youngest disciple that had far surpassed his expectations, she had also managed to create her first formation deserving of the abysmal rank during the past few months… And although it wasn’t attached to one of the blobs of slag metal that she created through blacksmithing, it still ended up becoming rather well known among the formation masters and younger disciples of the sect.

All for the simple reason that her formation happened to have been created by her time at a training ground frequented by the younger disciples of the sect and caused the training ground in question to change into a space filled to the brim with some kind of slimy substance that seemed to have been created by the formation from absorbing the surrounding qi in the air.

Although this hadn’t ended up causing any real damage to the younger disciples who had happened to be training at the training ground at the time, it was still a rather memorable experience for them to suddenly find themselves covered in slime. Even more so when some of the more curious ones among them realized that eating the strange slime increased their cultivation speed.

In the end, the incident had caused quite an uproar among the formation masters of the sect, as they had rushed over to investigate the strange formation and slime.

However, they could not recreate the formation and after an elder looked into the matter, the training ground was ultimately closed off and the slime was gathered on a regular basis for consumption. Not just because it was found out that eating it increased the cultivation speed of those below the Core Formation Realm, but also because it tasted like strawberry pudding.

And when made to look like pudding, it didn’t look any different, thus resulting in the rather unique new dessert that was thoroughly enjoyed by the younger disciples of the sect for its taste and effect on their cultivation speed…

Remembering the time when he had first learnt about this, he himself had also gone to check out the formation that had been created by Mui.

However, even with his strength, he couldn’t figure out how it worked or see through it.

”Indeed, things created at the abysmal rank are unpredictable. At least she ended up creating something that ended up benefiting the younger disciples of the sect. Even if I do feel a bit bad for those disciples left in charge of gathering the slime created by the formation…” Muttering this to himself as he shook his head, Xuan Hao’s divine sense drifted over towards the relatively normal training ground close to the outer sect disciple abodes that had now turned into one of the more important locations of the sect.

At the moment, a dozen or so unlucky disciples could be seen working inside the former training ground. Doing their best to gather up a large amount of slime that would later be turned into desserts for the rest of the younger disciples to enjoy, while they themselves struggled to move around inside the red colored slime.

Rumble~

Not too far away from where these disciples were doing their best to gather the red slime, Xuan Hao also noticed that a group of elders were hard at work digging into the hard to damage ground of the Seventh Star Peak.

From the few conversations taking place between them, he realized that they wanted to create a pit for the slime to gather inside, so they didn’t have to worry about it overflowing into the nearby disciple abodes.

”A slime pit? I never thought the Star Shattering Sect would one day be getting a slime pit…” Not knowing what to say after learning about what the group of elders were up to, Xuan Hao decided to not pay any more attention to the creation of his younger disciple. Instead, he decided to use his divine sense to see what she was up to at the moment…

”AHAHAH! IT’S PERFECT!”

Standing in middle of a forge that looked like it had exploded with slag metal spraying out everywhere and covering every part of the room in still hot metal, Mui laughed happily as both her hands held onto a large spherical object that seemed to be a giant metal marble created from countless different metals being fused together under a terrifying pressure from all sides.

”With this, I’m sure to senior brother Bai will be impressed.” Narrowing both her eyes into slits with a smile still present on her face, Mui calmed herself down before putting the spherical object away-

Whoosh~!

Wasting no time as she dashed off in the direction of Bai Ning’s forge to show off her latest creation to her senior brother, who would almost undoubtedly end up having a heart attack after seeing her creation.

After all, from a simple glance through his divine sense at the different slag metals covering the room, Xuan Hao recognized at least three different mystic grade spiritual metals.

No idea how she had managed to even get her hand on such precious spiritual metal in the first place as it was tightly regulated by the blacksmithing elders who wanted to either trade it with Yi Min for an opportunity to learn directly from her or use it to try and find a breakthrough point to the Master Realm.

No matter what, Bai Ning definitely wouldn’t react well after realizing this. Especially considering he had been short on mystic grade spiritual metal since having broken through to the Master Realm, as spiritual metal of that quality was hard to come by and the amount produced by the current Star Shattering Sect was far from enough for him to use mystic grade spiritual metal in every single artifact, he made…

Bang!

And just as Xuan Hao was thinking about what kind of reaction Bai Ning might have, Mui arrived at his forge and barged inside with a happy smile plastered all over her face. Looking eager to show off her newest creation to her senior brother.

”Huh? Junior sister? What are you- Hm? Wha… What is that…?” Seeing his junior sister barge in, Bai Ning instantly had a bad feeling as his eyes was drawn to the weird spherical object that she pulled out from her interspatial ring.

”This is my new artifact! Look, look!” Not noticing the strange look of her senior brother, Mui proudly showed off her newest creation. Looking for praise from her senior brother now that she had finally managed to create an artifact that wasn’t rough around the edges like her past artifacts. Showing just how much she had improved over the past few months.

”New artifact… No… Don’t tell me… The missing mystic grade spiritual metal that I prepared for-”

”Hehe, if you are talking about the shiny metals that you left behind when leaving earlier, I made sure to add them! Look! It’s all shiny now, like small stars dancing across the surface! Hehe~” Hearing her senior brother mention mystic grade spiritual metals, Mui’s eyes instantly started shining as she said this before he could finish what he was about to say. Guessing that the mystic grade spiritual metal, he should be talking about was the shiny metals that made her artifact so pretty.

”Shiny? Small stars…?”

Hearing the words of his little junior sister, Bai Ning could not help taking a closer look at the spherical object that she was proudly holding up to him.

Indeed, there were several small lights dancing across the surface of the mostly black metal ball… And after examining them, Bai Ning realized that there were three distinct colors of light, each representing three different spiritual metals…

”Mui…”

”Hehe, I know, it’s awesome! Ah! I have to show it off to master as well!”

Whoosh-!

Before Bai Ning even had a chance to say anything or even think of stopping this junior sister of his, Mui had already rushed out of the forge in direction of her master’s palace to show off the artifact that she had created, something that she did every time she created something she thought was good.

”I… I really need to find a way to deal with this junior sister of mine…” Seeing this, Bai Ning could only slump down on the ground with an exhausted expression on his face.

Although he had managed to hide away most of the precious spiritual metals from this junior sister of his with the help of the other elders of the Blacksmithing Hall, he had the unfortunate fortune of having her snoop around his forge in search of pretty looking metals every now and then.

Normally, it wouldn’t cause him to lose anything that precious, but this time around, he had truly ended up losing out to his little junior sister. Only having left for a few minutes to get everything in order for forging back then, and she had ended up grabbing the most precious spiritual metal in his forge…
