Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Huh? A demon beast? What is a demon beast doing here?” Seeing the rabbit blocking their path, one of the six Soul Ascension Realm cultivators could not help showing a somewhat confused expression on his face as he said this. Not understanding where a demon beast had suddenly popped up from without him or the others noticing it.

”Don’t think too much about it, it should have come from the other side of the formation. After all, we can’t see through it and that woman doesn’t block travel for ordinary demon beasts and humans… And looking at this little thing, I doubt she would care about it passing through the formation.”

”Haha, indeed, this thing should at most be a normal rabbit that somehow managed to absorb a bit of spiritual qi by accident. Resulting in it becoming a demon beast, it’s strength should at most be somewhere around the Earlier Stages of the Qi Condensation Realm.”

”True, I doubt a little thing like this would survive for long if it hadn’t been lucky enough to grow up in a place like this where strong demon beast are rare and the cultivators won’t bother with weak demon beasts like this.”

Also noticing the rabbit demon beast after hearing what the first person said, the others could not help joking with each other as they looked at the small cute looking rabbit demon beast that had suddenly appeared in front of them. None of them felt any danger, as they mistook not sensing the rabbit demon beast’s strength for it being too weak.

Squeak…!

Feeling the clear disdain from the group of humans along with hearing what they said, the rabbit demon beast who had already prepared itself to deal with the group of humans decided that not a single one of them would be leaving alive!

”Hm? Look! The little one looks angry.”

”Haha, perhaps it understood what you said earlier.”

Not understanding how dangerous their current situation was, the group of Soul Ascension Realm cultivators just continued to laugh and joke among each other as they kept most of their attention on the guardian formation protecting the Iron Sky Kingdom. All of them wondering why Yi Min hadn’t shown up yet, as she would always be there to fight them the moment they appeared to try and break her formation.

”Hehe, I think she might have been more exhausted than we first thought, let’s take this time to break this damnable formation!”

Whoosh~

Deciding to not waste any more time standing around waiting to see what had happened to Yi Min, one of the Soul Ascension realm cultivators at the First Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm decided to make the first move as he gathered his strength to attack the formation. Ignoring the rabbit demon beast located directly in front of the formation. Not caring that he would end up killing the little demon beast in the process.

Swish-!

However, before he had the chance to reach the formation, the harmless looking rabbit demon beast jumped forward at a speed far surpassing the comprehension of the six Soul Ascension Realm cultivators and arrived directly in front of the person who had decided to step forward and attack the guardian formation of the Iron Sky Kingdom first

”Wha-!?”

BANG!

And before he had any time to react, he suddenly felt a terrifying force slamming into his body as he found himself being thrown back with a power far beyond what his body could take-

BOOOOOM-!

Resulting in his body being directly blown apart by the terrifying force. Leaving only his soul to float around with a confused and fearful expression on its face. Not understanding what had happened and how his physical body had suddenly been destroyed without him having any time to react, let alone see who had attacked him.

”What in the- The rabbit demon beast!?” Being the strongest among the six of them, the cultivator at the Second Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm had managed to catch a glimpse of what had happened. Not that it was any less shocking, as the rabbit demon beast he had regarded as harmless just a few seconds earlier had suddenly transformed into a terrifying demon beast with the power to easily kill someone at the First Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm.

Even with his current strength at the Second Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm, he couldn’t help feeling a shiver run down his spine. Understanding very well that he would stand little chance against such a terrifying demon beast.

Even the simple act of escaping wouldn’t be easy to accomplish considering the terrifying speed that the rabbit demon beast had just displayed.

Not too different from him, the other four Soul Ascension Realm cultivators also felt a sense of dread as they realized what had just happened. Not wasting a single second before gathering together in preparation to resist the rabbit demon beast together.

SQUEAK-!

Letting out a proud squeaking sound after seeing how the remaining five Soul Ascension Realm cultivators began huddling together in fear, the rabbit demon beast could not help feeling satisfied with its quick action of killing the cultivator who had come barreling towards it without a single hint of cation.

Although it did have the strength to kill someone at the First Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm, it normally wouldn’t be that easy. The only reason why it had been able to accomplish what it had was due to the simple fact that the other party had completely let down his guard and had remained focused on the possible appearance of Yi Min. Not paying any attention to the rabbit demon beast directly in front of it.

Then again, the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator couldn’t be blamed for his lack of cation, as he would have never expected a harmless little rabbit demon beast to be so powerful, let alone happen to be directly in front of the guardian formation of the Iron Sky Kingdom when they had decided to attack…

Whoosh~

Deciding to take the chance to further intimidate the rest of the Soul Ascension Realm cultivators while at the same time finishing off the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator that had been reduced to nothing more than a heavily injured soul, the rabbit demon beast casually used its strength to grab hold of the soul before it had a chance to run away.

”Huh?” Still in a bit of daze after what had just happened, the soul was relatively slow to react-

”Nooo-! DON’T!”

Thump~!

And by the time it wanted to struggle free of the rabbit demon beast’s grasp and escape, it was already too late, as it found itself being crushed beneath the fluffy paws of the rabbit demon beast.

Marking the official end of a proud Soul Ascension Realm cultivator, who would have properly never have expected he would end up being crushed to death by a cute rabbit foot.

”””…”””

Watching all of this playing out, the remaining five Soul Ascension Realm cultivators all felt a shiver run down their spine.

Never in their life had they imagined such a cute looking rabbit could be so terrifying!

If they managed to escape alive from their current situation, all of them silently swore that they would never dare to underestimate an opponent no matter how weak or harmless they seemed on the surface.

Of course, that was only if they managed to get out alive-

Whoosh-!

For now, they first had to deal with the rabbit demon beast who charged towards them shortly after crushing the soul of their comrade.

Boom-boom-boom!

Not long after, an earth-shattering battle began just outside the border of the Iron Sky Kingdom, as the five Soul Ascension Realm cultivators worked together to fight back against the rabbit demon beast who was singlehandedly suppressing all five of them. Using its terrifying speed to accomplish this.

…

”Looks like it will be fine without my help…”

Not too far away from the border of the Iron Sky Kingdom on the other side of the guardian formation, Yi Min who had watched the entire thing unfold, could not help muttering this to herself as she watched how the rabbit demon beast singlehandedly suppressed the five Soul Ascension Realm cultivators.

Although she had expected for the rabbit demon beast to strong considering that Xuan Hao had it come over and help her in his place, she had never expected for the rabbit demon beast to be that strong!

Not to mention the strength displayed by the rabbit demon beast, just the speed alone made it difficult for her to keep up with it with her strength in the Third Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm, she could easily imagine how hard it was for those five who were even weaker than her…

Whoosh~!

Continuing to observe the fight for another few minutes, Yi Min finally decided to join in and help the rabbit demon beast finish off the five Soul Ascension Realm cultivators.

Though the rabbit demon beast could finish things on its own, it would take longer and might result in one or more of the Soul Ascension Realm cultivators managing to escape. After all, she had no idea what kind of trump cards these people might be hiding and waiting for a perfect opportunity to use…
