Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Hm? Someone is actually daring enough to attack the Iron Sky Kingdom?” Learning about the troublesome situation that Yi Min found herself in, Xuan Hao could not help showing a somewhat surprised expression on his face.

Although he had already arrived back at the Sky Empire together with Chun Hua and had managed to learn about what had happened during the time he had been gone, it was still surprising that someone would be daring enough to attack the Iron Sky Kingdom. After all, Yi Min was still a powerful cultivator at the Third Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm. Not someone that could be easily killed.

”Yes, I have been holding out for a few weeks with the help of my formation, but I doubt I will be able to hold on for more than a week or two if the attacks continue…” Hearing the surprised exclamation of Xuan Hao, Yi Min quickly responded through the communication talisman.

”Able to hold on for a week or so…” Muttering this to himself after hearing what Yi Min said, Xuan Hao unconsciously glanced over towards Chun Hua who was fully focused on observing a fight between two cultivators in the Domain Lord Realm not too far away.

The two Domain Lord Realm cultivators were both unfamiliar to him and should be from one of the powers who were in the process of trying to take control of the now ownerless resources that could be found across the former territory of the Sky Empire. Looking a bit closer, it looked like the two were fighting for a spirit stone mine located only a short distance away from where the fight was taking place.

The reason why he had come to a stop and was allowing Chun Hua to watch this fight was because he had been using it as an opportunity to teach her about the Domain Lord Realm through observing the two fighting Domain Lords using their domains to fight each other.

Hm… Given that she can hold on for a week or two on her own, it shouldn’t be a problem to take our time returning to the sect. In the worst-case scenario, I can always rush back if something unexpected happens…

Narrowing both his eyes as he thought about this, Xuan Hao turned his attention back towards the communication talisman-

”Don’t worry, I will be there in a few days. If you can’t hold on, contact me again and I will rush over.”

Informing Yi Min about when he would be there and the fact that she could always contact him again if something ended up happening and her life ended up being in danger.

With his current mastery over the Dao of Space and his strength at the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, it would at most take a few minutes to rush back if he used all of his strength.

”Hold on for a few days? Sure, I will be waiting for you to show up and scare off those annoying people.” Not feeling anything wrong with what Xuan Hao said as she knew that he wasn’t currently at the Star Shattering Sect, Yi Min let out a sigh of relief as she said this. Feeling more than confident in being able to hold out on her own for a few days.

”Master! What is that!”

Unaware of the conversation that had taken place between her master and Yi Min, Chun Hua who had already adapted to her new identity as a disciple, eagerly called out as she pointed towards somewhere on the ground not too far away from where the two Domain Lord Realm cultivators were fighting.

”Hm?” Putting his communication talisman away after finishing his conversation with Yi Min, Xuan Hao glanced down at the oddity that Chun Hua had pointed out, a small rock that would have looked normal if not for the fact that there were two powerful Domain Lord Realm cultivators fighting a few hundred meters away. Destroying everything in their surroundings except the small rock that seemed to look out of place.

Using his divine sense to investigate the rock more closely, Xuan Hao discovered that the small rock wasn’t a rock, but was instead a third Domain Lord Realm cultivator that had hidden himself with the help of his domain without being noticed by the other two Domain Lord Realm cultivators only a few hundred meters away.

Given the sense of a Domain Lord Realm cultivator and just how hard it was to sneak up on someone in the Domain Lord Realm, it was easy to see how impressive this Domain Lord Realm cultivator was and how great his control over his domain was. Even when compared to someone in the Soul Ascension Realm, this level of control was terrifying.

Even more amazing than all of this was the fact that Chun Hua had somehow managed to notice something odd about the small rock while the two Domain Lord Realm cultivators no more than a few hundred meters away from the rock hadn’t noticed anything.

Indeed, a good disciple!

”That is another Domain Lord Realm cultivator, he is using his domain to hide himself from the other two. The way he is hiding is by using his domain to…” Not showing any of his happiness over the fact that she had been able to notice the hidden Domain Lord Realm cultivator, Xuan Hao nodded his head as he began to explain how the third Domain Lord Realm cultivator had managed to use his domain to hide from the other two Domain Lord Realm cultivators.

Though the other party might have an impressive control when compared to someone in the Soul Ascension Realm, to Xuan Hao who had reached a level comparable to the Dao Seed Realm, it was rather easy to see through his methods and explain them to Chun Hua.

”Wow…”

As a result, Chun Hua was left in a state of amazement as she attentively listened to her master’s explanation. Allowing her to deepen her insights into the Domain Lord Realm, while at the same time also giving her a more in-depth understanding of domain control.

Unknown to the three Domain Lord Realm cultivators below who were all aiming for control over the nearby spirit stone mine, they had ended up becoming perfect subjects for Xuan Hao to teach Chun Hua about the Domain Lord Realm. Serving as a good way for the master and disciple to bond and grow closer.

In the end, by the time that the third Domain Lord Realm cultivator finally decided to make his move and emerged from his hiding spot to kill the two exhausted Domain Lord Realm cultivators, Xuan Hao had already finished teaching Chun Hua. Having left to continue back towards the Star Shattering Sect.

Of course, given the chaotic state of the core region of the fallen Sky Empire, he and Chun Hua ended up encountering more than just that one battle between Domain Lord Realm cultivators… And with how beneficial it was to Chun Hua; Xuan Hao took the time to teach her something new about the Domain Lord Realm whenever they encountered such a situation.

During this time, Chun Hua’s cultivation that had broken through to the Ninth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm and she also began taking steps towards establishing a pseudo domain of her own. Improving at a rapid pace as she began looking like she might become the first of his disciples to reach the Domain Lord Realm.

Although the journey back to the sect was extended far beyond the few days, he had originally thought it would take, Xuan Hao didn’t want to interrupt the rapid progress of his disciple and had to find another way to help Yi Min deal with her current situation without going on his own-

Squeak-!?

And in the end, he decided to send out the rabbit demon beast to help out Yi Min after promising it a large number of spirit stones after it helped out Yi Min.

Despite the fact that the rabbit demon beast was only at the Fourth Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm, its speed surpassed even that of someone at the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm and it’s strength alone was more than enough to deal with someone at the Fifth Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm.

Given that the people attacking Yi Min weren’t much stronger than the First and Second Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm, Xuan Hao felt more than confident in leaving the situation to the rabbit demon beast. After all, there was no way those weaker Soul Ascension Realm cultivators would have any way to escape from a terrifying demon beast like the rabbit demon beast.

Of course, to make sure Yi Min didn’t accidentally attack the rabbit demon beast, he also made sure to inform her about it beforehand. Even though she had already seen it before, it was better to be on the safe side and avoid the rabbit demon beast getting injured by friendly fire…
