Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Contemplating over which location among the two to choose, Xuan Hao ultimately decided to settle with the Grand Library where the sect’s cultivation techniques and other scrolls and books were stored. Mainly due to the fact that the Qi Spring Lake was located at the core of the sect and normal disciples wouldn’t be able to easily access the place without help from an elder.

At least, by placing it in the Grand Library, it would be far easier for the disciples to access it together with the elders of the sect.

”As for requirements to access it… Contribution points can be used. This would also give another incentive for the disciples and elders to take on missions and help dealing with the different problems across the now rather vast territory of the sect.” Muttering this to himself as he had already begun to envision the future use of the stone slab, Xuan Hao wasted no time as he made his way towards the Grand Library.

Whoosh~!

Arriving at the Grand Library of the sect, Xuan Hao decided to directly expand the first floor of the library that most of the sect’s disciples used by adding another wing to the library before placing the stone tablet inside of it. Making sure to use some of the spiritual wood and stones he had picked up over time to do this. Ensuring that the new wing of the library was strong and sturdy enough to stop the dao aura of the stone slab from leaking outside when the illusion on it was undone.

”Everything should be done now. After the illusion is removed, I will contact someone from the mission pavilion and have them set up a formation on this place to ensure that the disciples and elders can pay their contributions points to enter this place.” Focusing his attention on the stone slab placed in the middle of the new library wing as he said this, Xuan Hao began the process of slowly undoing the illusion covering the stone slab.

Rumble~!

BANG!

”Huh!?”

However, just as he reached the end and was about to fully undo the illusion, the illusion disappeared on its own, causing the stone slab to suddenly grow rapidly and out of control. Directly crashing into the ceiling above before reaching a height that would put it only a few meters away from the ceiling of the second floor of the library.

Looks like I will have to raise the ceiling up to the second floor…

Only able to smile wryly as he thought this to himself after seeing how the precious spiritual wood used in the construction of the library wing had been smashed into pieces, Xuan Hao could only take out what little spiritual wood he had left on him and raise the height of the new library wing to match that of the ceiling of the second floor.

In the end, the heigh from the ground to the ceiling of the new library wing ended up being around 25 meters, as the normal ceiling height of each floor of the grand library was around a dozen meters with some space in between for both support and different formations to be placed in.

”Now I just need to contact one of the elders from the mission pavilion and have them set up a formation that will deduct the contribution points of the elders and disciples who want to enter this place and comprehend the… Stone slab? Hm… it definitely needs a different name, but what? Dao stone room? Enlightenment room? No… Dao Enlightenment Monument? Yeah, that sounds nice. Dao Enlightenment Monument, a place for disciples and elders to go to comprehend the dao of ancient cultivators.” Nodding to himself as everything fell into place, Xuan Hao took out his communication talisman and contacted the current elder in charge of the mission pavilion to come over and set up a formation and price structure for disciples and elders who wanted to comprehend the dao carvings on Dao Enlightenment Monument.

Not intending to set the prices on such things himself, as he felt that someone like the elder in charge of mission pavilion would be far more suited to do such a thing. After all, being the one in charge of the mission pavilion also meant that one oversaw the distribution of contribution points inside the sect.

Such a person would have a far better idea than him about how many contribution points would be suitable to charge the disciples and elders…

”Grand Elder!”

Not even half a minute later, the person in charge of the mission pavilion arrived at the grand library.

”Hm? Aren’t you the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race?” However, after seeing who the person in charge of the mission pavilion was, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit surprised. Not having expected that the current person in charge of the mission pavilion to be the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race.

”Ah! Yes, I happened to be put in charge of the mission pavilion by Elder Song after I broke through to the Domain Lord Realm. Hehe, I was quite fortunate, as I didn’t think I would be able to get such an important position directly after reaching the Domain Lord Realm- Ah! And senior, you can just call me Wei Chin instead of using my title from back before I joined the Star Shattering Sect together with my people.”

”I see… Then, Wei Chin, I called you here to set up a formation to manage the disciples entering this place to comprehend the dao carvings on the stone behind me, I take it that you should be able to come up with a price to enter this place after taking a look yourself.”

”Yes, yes! Of course!” Nodding his head eagerly, Wei Chin finally noticed the massive stone monument behind Xuan Hao and was instantly spellbound upon seeing the countless dao carving belonging to all sorts of Daos that he had never seen before. Even finding a few corresponding to the Tempest Dao he had started comprehending upon breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm.

”This…” Not knowing what to say as he instantly understood the importance of this stone monument, Wei Chin could not help nervously turning to look back up at Xuan Hao. Wondering if it would really be okay to place something like that inside the library of the sect instead of locking it away in a secure vault.

”Impressive, right? It’s called the Dao Enlightenment Monument, I’m sure both the disciples and elders will improve rapidly after getting a chance to comprehend the dao carving left on it. Seeing as you understand the importance of this matter, I will leave the rest to you and wait for the good news of this place to spread out from the elders and disciples.”

Unaware of the thoughts going through Wei Chin’s head, Xuan Hao just thought he was amazed by the Dao Enlightenment Monument and happily praised it before turning around to leave after confirming that the rest could be left for Wei Chin to handle.

”This…”

Seeing Xuan Hao leave, Wei Chin froze for a short moment as he slowly turned to look back at the more than twenty-meter-tall Dao Enlightenment Monument covered in dao carvings left behind by ancient cultivators to assist the younger generation in their journey to comprehend the dao.

”Looks like I have quite an important task at hand…” Shaking his head as he muttered this to himself, Wei Chin narrowed both his eyes as he pulled out his communication talisman and began to prepare for setting up the Dao Enlightenment Monument and making it accessible to the disciples and elders of the sect as fast as possible.

…

As Xuan Hao finished setting up the Dao Enlightenment Monument and left the rest to Wei Chin, information about what had happened and the new wing that had been added to the library soon spread across the sect, causing both elders and disciples to rush over in anticipation of what the new wing of the library was going to be used for.

”Huh? A new wing appeared in the Grand Library? Did it perhaps undergo an expansion because of the recent influx of cultivation techniques from the new territory under the sect?”

”No, I was here yesterday when the place was built and witnessed a large stone monument suddenly breaking through the ceiling of the place. Forcing the elder building the place to increase the height to cover it up.”

”Really? What is it for then? Storing a large stone?”

”I don’t know… The place was closed off by the elders from the mission pavilion shortly after and you can’t approach the place without one of them showing up to chase you away. If I’m not wrong, it should be something we will be able to use contribution points on in the future and-”

”Haha! You guys are all uninformed!”

””Huh?!””

”Who is this?”

”Hmph! I’m an inner sect disciple! But more importantly! I happened to overhear one of the elders from the mission pavilion mention that the place was created by Grand Elder Xuan!”

””Really!?””

”Yes! I’m sure it will be something amazing!”

In the end, news about the fact that Xuan Hao was the one behind it also began to spread among the disciples, causing even more people to show up in anticipation of what was hidden in the new wing of the library, while at the same time putting more pressure on Wei Chin to finish preparing the place for use and allow the first batch of disciples and elders inside.
