Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

At the same time that the rabbit demon beast stepped inside the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao who had been cultivating back in his cultivation room while waiting for his two disciples to finish stabilizing their cultivation base, opened both of his eyes as a slight smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

So, it finally returned? Hehe, I guess Yi Min gave up on trying to keep up with its consumption of spirit stones and it finally remembered the spirit stones I promised it back then. Although, it did take a bit longer than I expected it to. Hm… Maybe it’s due to the new subordinate it took in using his own spirit stones?

Curiously examining the human following closely behind the rabbit demon beast as he thought about this, Xuan Hao still felt surprised that the rabbit demon beast had somehow managed to take in a human as a subordinate.

Even then, he didn’t plan to say anything about it, as it seemed like the rabbit demon beast got along rather well with this human subordinate… And from the awe plastered all over his face and the constant praise flowing out of his mouth when talking to the rabbit demon beast, it became clear to him that the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator was born to be a subordinate of the rabbit demon beast.

In spite of the fact that he had wanted to stop the rabbit demon beast from taking in human subordinates when he had first discovered that it had taken one in through a subordinate contract, he changed his mind after seeing just how the relationship between the two of them played out.

After all, a subordinate contract didn’t cause someone to change the way one acted and only meant that the master in the contract had a certain level of control over the other party’s life and death.

If the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator wasn’t sincere in the way he addressed the rabbit demon beast and acted around it, Xuan Hao was certain that he would have been able to see through it. Possibly resulting in him stopping the rabbit demon beast from continuing to keep this human subordinate, as it might negatively reflect on the Star Shattering Sect.

”Hm… Looks like I won’t have to interfere and can trust the rabbit’s judgement when taking in subordinates in the future. Even if these subordinates turn out to be human.” Muttering this to himself as he turned his attention away from the rabbit demon beast and focused his attention back on cultivating while keeping an eye out for Chun Hua and Chu Yang, Xuan Hao had unknowingly been fooled by the flawless acting skills of the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator subordinate of the rabbit demon beast.

In the end, the flawless acting abilities had ended up unknowingly dooming him to not being able to use Xuan Hao as a way to escape from his fate as a subordinate of the rabbit demon beast.

Not just him, but the future subordinates of the rabbit demon beast would also end up being affected by this, as Xuan Hao had decided to fully trust the rabbit demon beast when it came to choosing its own subordinates…

”This is the Star Shattering Sect!? Such rich spiritual qi!”

Unaware of all of this, the subordinate in question was making his way up the Ninth Star Peak with an amazed expression on his face as he marveled at the terrifying density of spiritual qi inside the Star Shattering Sect.

From the Star Shattering Sect being stronger than he had first expected and possibly a power that could rival that of the empire he had come from, the image of the Star Shattering Sect instantly grew to that of a power from the core region of the continent that had decided to hide away and settle down outside the core region itself.

The reason for a powerful force doing such a thing was still unknown, but he had his own guess about it. Believing it to have something to do with some kind of power struggle or something similar that forced them out of the core region of the continent and into the border region.

At the same time, this ”realization” made him feel less troubled by his new identity as a subordinate of a rabbit demon beast. Unknowingly causing his disguise as a faithful subordinate to become even better.

…

As the rabbit demon beast made its return to the sect and Xuan Hao was busy looking over his two disciples, somewhere in the sect, a large number of elders had gathered together to discuss an important matter pertaining a problem that had been affecting the Star Shattering Sect over the last few months.

”I never imagined that this would be a problem facing the sect, but we have to do something about it before it’s too late!”

”Indeed, it wasn’t something I expected either, but with the recent establishment of the Dao Enlightenment Monument by Grand Elder Xuan, it has become difficult to constantly repair what is destroyed.”

”Yes, we can’t keep repairing everything that gets broken whenever someone breaks through to the Domain Lord Realm! Elder Song, you have to help, we can’t keep this up or the budget allocated for the cultivation of the disciples from next year onwards will be affected!”

”Yes, not just that, but…”

As the group of elders voiced out their troubles one by one, everyone slowly focused their attention on Elder Song who was sitting at the center of the group. All of them understood that if someone was capable of finding a solution to this unique problem, it would be him.

”Hm… The destruction caused by the elders breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm is indeed rather substantial, but we can’t just chase them out of the sect to breakthrough in a worse environment…” Muttering this to himself as he felt the gazes of the surrounding elders focusing on him, Elder Song could not help frowning to himself as he thought about countless possible solutions.

Sending the elders about to reach the Domain Lord Realm out of the sect was possible, but wasn’t a good idea, as they wouldn’t have the rich spiritual qi of the Shattered Star Peaks to assist them in their breakthrough. Making the possibility of failure far higher.

Getting someone to watch over them and restrain their domain wasn’t really possible either, as only Xuan Hao or Pei Yang was capable of doing this without any problems, Feng Chen only able to do this to a certain extent. Not to mention, this was not a permanent solution and would require one of the three to constantly be ready for when someone broke through to the Domain Lord Realm.

Permanent solution… Wait! Maybe we can imitate those lotus shaped platforms on top of the Third Star Peak. Although it isn’t their intended purpose, they do absorb the impact of the cloud tribulation and prevents it from spreading out to affect others if someone breaks through to the Nascent Soul Realm on top of one of them.

If we can imitate this for the Domain Lord Realm and create a platform or cultivation room of some sort to absorb the impact of the breakthrough, we won’t have to worry about the damage caused by those breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm in the future. At the same time, it will also give a place for those breaking through to the Nascent Soul realm to break through in peace instead of having to go down the mountain and find somewhere isolated to undergo the cloud tribulation.

Thinking this to himself with all of the elders looking at him filled with anticipation, Elder Song felt that his idea of creating a cultivation room or platform of some sort to absorb the impact of the breakthrough seemed feasible- No, it seemed like a good solution to the current problem.

The only thing that might put a damper on this solution was the fact that the formation masters of the Star Shattering Sect weren’t knowledgeable or powerful enough to create such cultivation rooms or platforms ”Ah! Yi Min! We can ask her to come and help out with the formations!”

”Huh!? Elder Song? Do you have a solution to the problem?!”

”Yeah! Don’t leave us hanging!”

Exclaiming his thoughts out loud unintentionally, the rest of the elders who had been waiting for his answer curiously asked-

”Ah, it’s like this… I planned to create special cultivation rooms or platforms where…”

And without wasting a single second, Elder Song began to explain his plans and how he intended to invite Yi Min to help out with the formations of these new cultivation rooms and platforms intended for those wanting to either breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm or Domain Lord Realm.

”That’s great! I will get people ready for construction immediately!”

”And I will get the formation master ready to take care of the less complicated formations so as to not trouble Yi Min too much.”

”I will…”

Only a few minutes later, everyone in the room sprang into action. Fully intend on creating the cultivation rooms as fast as possible, as it would reduce the damage caused to the sect more the faster they were constructed.
