Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”So many people…” As the number of disciples and elders gathered around the library in anticipation of what the new wing of the library would be used for, Wei Chin emerged from the library with a somewhat shocked look on his face. Not having expected a crowd to gather during the short time he had taken to set up the Dao Enlightenment Monument together with a few elders from the mission pavilion.

I wonder if this is because news of Grand Elder Xuan being behind it leaked out…

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Wei Chin could not help marveling over just how much pull Xuan Hao had in the sect even though he hadn’t made any appearances over the past few years outside of a few lectures.

Then again, he was still considered the strongest person in the sect, something that had been acknowledged by Pei Yang during one of his lectures in the past. Making it well known inside the sect that Xuan Hao should have also surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm.

With such strength, it was only a given that anything he did would attract the attention of the sect’s disciples and elders. Especially when it also happened to involve the mission pavilion…

”Everyone!”

Seeing that a few of the elders had already noticed him and were looking towards him filled with anticipation, Wei Chin decided to speak up. Instantly causing the large gathering of disciples and elders to quiet down as they turned to look towards him with a similar look of anticipation. All of them wanted to know about the new wing of the library and what it was going to be used for.

”As all of you might already know, the addition of the new wing of the library was added by Grand Elder Xuan yesterday and the mission pavilion was tasked with setting up the place for use through contribution points. The new wing of the library is called the Dao Enlightenment Monument, it contains a stone monument covered in dao carvings left behind by ancient cultivators for the younger generation to comprehend.

According to what Grand Elder Xuan told me about it, the Dao Enlightenment Monument is useful to anyone below the Dao Seed Realm. Although, I don’t have a clue what that realm is, I’m certain that it should be somewhere above the Soul Ascension Realm.

Due to most of the people here properly wanting to enter the Dao Enlightenment Monument, a limit on the people entering will be in place over the next few weeks and will be lifted afterwards, as I doubt any of you will have that many contribution points left by that time.”

Finishing the introduction of the Dao Enlightenment Monument, Wei Chin didn’t bother waiting around to wait for the disciples and elders to react, as he directly turned around and made his way inside the library to become the first person to enter use the Dao Enlightenment Monument.

Given that the Dao Enlightenment Monument was still useful to someone like himself, he of course intended to take full advantage of it to improve his strength.

”This… Did… Did Elder Wei just leave to enter the wing of the library where the Dao Enlightenment Monument is located…?”

”Yes… I think he said it would be useful to anyone below this… Ehm… Dao Seed Realm? Although I don’t have any clue about the realm either, he did say it was above the Soul Ascension Realm. Meaning that the Dao Enlightenment Monument should also be useful to those in the Domain Lord Realm…”

”Wait… Isn’t this a perfect opportunity for us still stuck at the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm…?”

”This…”

”Indeed, it might be the opportunity we have been waiting for!”

Whoosh-!

Whoosh-!

Whoosh-!

Before any of the disciples standing around outside the library had a chance to react, the elders at the Later Stages and the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm who had also been standing around wasted no time as they rushed towards the Dao Enlightenment Monument.

Not caring the slightest bit about the large quantity of contribution points required for them to enter for even a single day, as they all rushed inside. Not intending to give up the opportunity to reach the Domain Lord Realm that had finally appeared in front of them.

Even though it was significantly cheaper for a disciple compared to an elder when it came to comprehending the dao carvings left behind on the Dao Enlightenment Monument, the spots on the first day of the Dao Enlightenment Monument being unveiled were fully occupied by the elders of the sect…

”Nooo-! I don’t have enough contribution points to stay any longer!?”

”Just a little more… And I would have been able to establish a pseudo domain of my own and take the first step towards the Domain Lord Realm!”

”Ah! I should have taken on more missions from the mission pavilion!”

However, when the second day rolled around, a good chunk of the elders who hadn’t participated much in helping the sect through taking on missions were forced to leave the wing with the Dao Enlightenment Monument inside of it. Giving the first few disciples of the sect a chance to enter the wing and comprehend the Dao Enlightenment Monument, while the few elders who had been forced to leave rushed towards the mission pavilion to take on missions from the sect to gain enough contribution points to return to the Dao Enlightenment Monument.

Soon enough, news about the Dao Enlightenment Monument spread across the entire sect. Instantly igniting a rush among both elders and disciples to accumulate more contribution points so they would have a chance to comprehend the dao carvings on the Dao Enlightenment Monument.

Even Feng Chen and the other Domain Lord Realm cultivators of the Star Shattering Sect paid a visit to the Dao Enlightenment Monument after learning that it would also be useful for those in the Domain Lord Realm.

Of course, Xuan Hao’s disciples were no different, as they also decided to visit the Dao Enlightenment Monument for a chance to comprehend the dao carvings left by the ancient cultivators.

Because of this, both Chun Hua and Chu Yang managed to rapidly improve their pseudo domains and grew infinitely close to forming a true domain and stepping into the Domain Lord Realm. Only needing a single opportunity to take the final step to reach the Domain Lord Realm, something that not only caught the attention of Xuan Hao who was looking forward to having one of his disciples break through to the Domain Lord Realm, but also happened to catch the attention of the different elders of the sect.

After all, even though they didn’t know much about Chun Hua, they all understood just how young Chu Yang was and felt a sense of urgency to break through themselves so as to not be overtaken by the younger generation.

In the end, five days after the Dao Enlightenment Monument was opened to the disciples and elders of the sect, one of the elders who had been stuck at the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm managed to successfully break through to the Domain Lord Realm. Marking the first person to reach the Domain Lord Realm since the establishment of the Dao Enlightenment Monument.

This person was none other than Shen Xuefeng, the young elder who had once been an elder of the Spring Flower Sect before the merger between the Spring Flower Sect and the Flying Sword Sect into the Star Shattering Sect.

Although she hadn’t been drawing much attention over the past few years and had been focusing her attention on cultivating, she was still a rather well-known figure in the Star Shattering Sect due to her small stature and the giant hammer more than twice her height that she used for fighting. Even resulting in her becoming rather known even outside the Star Shattering Sect due to her participation in the sect’s expansion into the two bordering regions not too long ago.

During her breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm, her domain had also become known across the sect, as it directly flattened the area a few hundred meters around her when she had broken through.

The dao that she had ended up comprehending was a rather unique one, the Dao of Gravity, that she could not only use to suppress her opponents and increase her own speed but could also use to adjust the weight of her beloved weapon. Resulting in the already massive hammer that she had been using before being replaced by an even larger hammer that was difficult for any other Domain Lord to wield due to its terrifying weight.

The hammer in question was created by none other than Yi Min, who could be considered the strongest blacksmith in the Star Shattering Sect at the moment. Even more so after she had been lucky enough to gain the inheritance of a Saint Realm Blacksmith together with Xuan Hao.
