I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

142: Chapter 142 This person is like a dog”You’re actually quite eager to run off and be someone’s dog.”

Seeing Family Head Wu Chengfeng, the head of the Wu Family, kneel directly and recognize Ye Xiaoling as his master on the spot, Family Head Guan Suo looked disdainful.

”A dignified head of the Wu Family, acting just like a sycophantic dog.”

”Family Head Guan, it seems you have other thoughts?”

Chu Yuan saw the change in Family Head Guan Suo’s expression clearly.

Patriarch Mei Ling and Family Head Wu Chengfeng had both already submitted. Did Family Head Guan Suo have other plans? This actually piqued Chu Yuan’s interest.

If the other party resisted, he wouldn’t mind playing along with them.

”Thump!”

To everyone’s surprise, Family Head Guan Suo, who had just been full of disdain, knelt directly in front of Ye Xiaoling.

”Miss Ye is above; please accept my bow, Family Head Guan Suo.”

”From this day forward, Family Head Guan Suo and the Guan Family are merely dogs by Miss Ye’s side. If Miss Ye tells the Guan Family to go east, the Guan Family will never go west. If Miss Ye orders the Guan Family to bite someone, the Guan Family will never slack off.”

The sheer contrast in Family Head Guan Suo’s demeanor and the absurdity of his display of loyalty made Ye Xiaoling burst into laughter.

”Godfather, why is this person acting like a dog?”

Ye Xiaoling blinked her large, bright eyes, as if to say: ”This dog is not fun at all.”

”Yes, yes, I, Family Head Guan Suo, am just a dog by Miss Ye’s side, forever loyal to Miss Ye.”

Family Head Guan Suo was very clear that whether he could escape punishment depended on this. He didn’t hesitate to do it.

Patriarch Mei Ling and Family Head Wu Chengfeng were completely speechless.

Only today did they realize that this guy, Family Head Guan Suo, could be shameless to such an extent.

Compared to Family Head Guan Suo’s exaggerated actions, the two of them were just like children putting on a show; it wasn’t worth mentioning.

The three men, including Patriarch Mei Ling, were too pathetic. Before Chu Yuan could even make a move, all three had already knelt and begged for mercy, making Chu Yuan and his group lose even the desire to act.

Since Patriarch Mei Ling and the others were willing to be dogs for his daughter Ye Xiaoling, Chu Yuan didn’t let their good intentions go to waste. He accepted it on the spot and had Ye Xiaoling become the nominal master of the three families.

Of course, his daughter was too young to manage these three families.

As her godfather, Chu Yuan had to work hard and act on her behalf for the time being.

After leaving, Chu Yuan didn’t choose to take a car back. Instead, he took Su Mingyue and her daughter, and the family of three went for a warm and romantic walk.

The family of three strolled slowly along the road until the sunset completely faded, and only then did they return to the villa.

”I haven’t walked for this long in such a long time; my legs are a bit sore.”

As soon as she returned, Ye Xiaoling found a sofa and sat down.

Ever since she was hit by Chu Yuan, she had been recuperating. The distance she walked today was probably more than she had walked in the entire month.

”Oh, it’s all Godfather’s fault. I forgot that Xiao Ling’s foot injury had just healed; I shouldn’t have let you walk such a long distance.”

Chu Yuan had a gentle expression as he carefully applied medicine for Ye Xiaoling.

Su Mingyue watched their actions and always felt something was a bit strange.

But seeing Chu Yuan applying medicine for Ye Xiaoling, and her daughter wearing a happy smile, she hesitated and ultimately said nothing.

Chu Yuan treated her daughter better than a biological daughter; why was she still here being suspicious?

Seeing the sky had turned completely dark and it was getting late, Su Mingyue said, ”Young Master Chu, you and Xiao Ling sit for a while, I’ll go make dinner for you.”

”Alright, I can taste your cooking again, Mingyue.” Chu Yuan said, ”Xiao Ling, let’s go back to the room first, Godfather will teach you something.”

”Xiao Ling, you should accompany your Godfather well. Your Godfather has great skills; it’s just the right time to learn more from him.” Su Mingyue said with a smile.

Ye Xiaoling nodded and agreed.

Seeing Su Mingyue wearing an apron and entering the kitchen, Chu Yuan picked up Ye Xiaoling by the waist: ”Let’s go, Godfather will take you in.”

”Godfather, what are you planning to teach me?”

Entering the room, Ye Xiaoling blinked her large eyes and looked at Chu Yuan with anticipation.

Looking at the brush nearby, Chu Yuan suddenly had an idea.

”Xiao Ling, do you know how to write with a brush?”

Ye Xiaoling shook her head and sighed, ”No, my family was poor when I was little, I never even touched a brush.”

Chu Yuan thought about it, and it made sense.

Su Mingyue, a woman, had already found it difficult enough to raise Ye Xiaoling; where would she have spare money to let Ye Xiaoling learn other things?

”Godfather, do I need to learn brush calligraphy?”

”That goes without saying. Brush calligraphy can cultivate one’s character and increase one’s temperament and cultivation. Xiao Ling should learn it.”

As he spoke, Chu Yuan spread out the white paper, ground the ink, and then had Ye Xiaoling sit properly at the desk.
