I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

129: Chapter 129 Cola Centipede SoupQingshan Mental Hospital.

An old man paced back and forth at the entrance, gazing out repeatedly.

This person was none other than the director of the Qingshan Mental Hospital, Zhang Zhigang.

Upon learning that Chu Yuan actually intended to visit their hospital in person, Zhang Zhigang was overjoyed and immediately planned a welcome ceremony, only to be decisively rejected by Chu Yuan.

It was not that Chu Yuan intended to keep a low profile.

Having a Mental Hospital welcome him just gave Chu Yuan an awkward feeling.

If it weren’t for the intention to visit his old friend, Jiang Chen, he would never have come to such a place.

With his proposal rejected by Chu Yuan, Zhang Zhigang didn’t dare to say another word and could only stand at the entrance alone, respectfully awaiting Chu Yuan’s arrival.

Not long after, a motorcade slowly approached, and Chu Yuan appeared at the entrance.

”Young Master Chu, your arrival makes you a rare guest indeed.”

”That’s enough. There’s no need for polite pleasantries; take me directly to see Jiang Chen.”

Seeing that his flattery was treated as air by Chu Yuan, Zhang Zhigang had no choice but to put it away. He led the way, guiding Chu Yuan and his group toward the place where Jiang Chen was being held.

”Woof woof...”

”I am the Howling Celestial Dog under the command of the True Lord Erlang, where are you going, monster?”

As soon as Chu Yuan entered the room, he saw an absurd scene.

A four-legged beast was running around the room, occasionally barking like a dog.

Who else could it be but Jiang Chen, this Child of Destiny who possessed a system?

A dignified Child of Destiny who was a reincarnator and system owner, now having to bark like a dog just to survive.

Reduced to this state, he was probably the most miserable one among all Protagonists.

At the same time Chu Yuan entered, Jiang Chen, who had been acting crazy, suddenly froze for a moment, a flash of murderous intent appearing in his eyes.

Although it was extremely brief and cleverly concealed by Jiang Chen, it still could not escape Chu Yuan’s X-ray Vision.

Even if Chu Yuan didn’t have a system, or even X-ray Vision, discovering such clumsy acting would be completely effortless for him.

”Director Jiang, your old friend has gone through the trouble of coming to this ominous place to see you; hurry up and say hello.”

Chu Yuan beckoned to Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen, however, didn’t seem to hear Chu Yuan speaking and continued playing on his own.

Crawling on all fours, he ran around wildly, then picked up a bone in his mouth, having a great time.

”Kid, your Young Master is talking to you; stop playing the fool here.”

Chu Yuan might tolerate Jiang Chen’s behavior, but Mo Chou, standing beside him, would not indulge him.

Seeing that the other party was still playing with the bone on his own, he grabbed him and lifted him up.

”Let go of me, you monster, how dare you grab the Howling Celestial Dog.”

”I am the divine beast under the command of the True Lord Erlang, Yang Jian. Watch how I bite you to death, monster.”

As he spoke, Jiang Chen’s eyes gleamed with ferocity, and he bit down hard on Mo Chou’s arm.

Mo Chou was quick-witted and agile; before Jiang Chen could succeed, he swung with all his might and threw Jiang Chen flying.

Having lost his cultivation and been reduced to an ordinary person, Jiang Chen landed face-first on the ground in a pathetic heap.

This actually made Chu Yuan, who was watching from the sidelines, laugh out loud.

”Damn it, this monster is too hateful. The Howling Celestial Dog is no match for him; I should avoid his edge and hide first.”

Jiang Chen scrambled and crawled, shrinking under the table, appearing to be very afraid of Mo Chou.

”Young Master Chu, you have seen it yourself; Jiang Chen’s illness has become critical, and he has completely lost his sanity.”

”In this state, he is even worse than ordinary mental patients.”

”Tell me, how should we proceed with the treatment?”

Zhang Zhigang was now completely convinced that Jiang Chen’s appearance was that of a thoroughly mentally ill patient.

He was still worried that he might be blamed by Chu Yuan for using excessive methods and turning the other party into this state.

”You don’t need to worry too much. I have a prescription; as long as he takes it, I guarantee he will be cured.”

”Mo Chou, go prepare a bottle of cola, and catch some centipedes and earthworms; I’m going to add some potent ingredients for him.”

Cola, centipedes, earthworms?

Mo Chou was dumbfounded.

Zhang Zhigang was also stunned on the spot.

Even Jiang Chen, upon hearing this, was completely bewildered, not knowing what tricks Chu Yuan was up to again.

Could it be that he wanted to use these to test him?

No matter what methods Chu Yuan used, for now, Jiang Chen had no choice but to continue playing the fool.

As long as he lowered the other party’s guard against him and found an opportunity to escape, he might have a day to seek revenge on Chu Yuan.

”Young Master, are you sure you want me to prepare these as medicine?”

Mo Chou thought he had misheard.

If these things could be used as medicine, he feared that taking them would mean ’the medicine arrives and life departs’.

”Of course.”

”However, this cola is the catalyst; ordinary ten-year-old cola won’t do; it must be unique.”

”Come here, I will teach you how to prepare the cola.”

Calling Mo Chou to his side, Chu Yuan whispered a few words in his ear.

”Young Master, you... are you sure this will work?”

Upon hearing his Young Master’s instructions, Mo Chou was completely speechless.

Who could have imagined that the cola Chu Yuan spoke of was truly extraordinary, practically one of a kind.

”No need to say more, hurry up and go.”

”Alright... alright.”

Mo Chou didn’t dare to say anything more and hurried out to prepare the medicinal ingredients for Chu Yuan.

While everyone was still pondering how Chu Yuan intended to prank Jiang Chen, Mo Chou had already rushed back in, carrying the Cola Centipede Soup.

Zhang Zhigang was also somewhat curious about what this medicinal soup Chu Yuan mentioned could actually be, to be able to cure Jiang Chen’s mental illness.

With a bit of curiosity, he leaned forward to take a look.

He didn’t know until he looked, and upon looking, he was given a huge fright.

This special Cola Centipede Soup was yellow in color and steaming, with a centipede and an earthworm inside, rolling around.

The pungent smell of ammonia that assaulted his nose made Zhang Zhigang subconsciously take a few steps back.

Chu Yuan had no intention of looking, still wearing a smile:

”Mo Chou, take the special gift I prepared for Director Jiang over there and ask him to taste it.”

”This medicinal soup is something I spent half the night racking my brains over, tailor-made for Director Jiang; it will certainly cure him.”

Mo Chou held his breath, suppressing his laughter, and walked straight up to Jiang Chen with the medicinal soup: ”Howling Celestial Dog, you are in luck. My Young Master specially developed this medicine to cure your illness; hurry up and drink it.”

”Medicine to cure my illness?”

Jiang Chen’s heart was filled with mixed feelings; he did not believe that Chu Yuan would really cure him.

Cola, centipedes, earthworms.

Mixing these things together was clearly just to embarrass him.

Could it be that the other party wanted to force him to eat centipedes, or even wanted to poison him to death directly?

It was normal for Jiang Chen to have this thought.

Having failed in his contest with Chu Yuan and been forcibly treated as a mental patient and locked up here,

he had been suffering tremendously for some time; the hospital had tested every single method for treating mental patients on him without exception.

He was just worried that Chu Yuan was tired of playing and wanted to finish him off directly.
