I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

137: Chapter 137 Directly Become a Monk”As my direct disciple, you will naturally inherit my mantle and receive all of my teachings.”

”After you have comprehended my Mahayana Buddhist teachings, I will take you to the Western Heaven to pay homage to the Buddha Tathagata.”

”Once you receive the Buddha’s blessing, from this day forward, you will surely be free from illness and disaster, and all your wishes will come true.”

Jiang Chen did not believe a single word of this nonsense about paying homage to the Buddha or being free from illness and disaster.

He only wanted to learn real skills from Jiesha to improve himself, so that one day he could take revenge on Chu Yuan.

A few days later, after being baptized by Jiesha’s Buddhist teachings, Jiang Chen accepted reality and followed Jiesha, embarking on the path of an ascetic monk.

His hair had been shaved off, several ordination scars were branded onto his scalp, and he wore a set of coarse cloth robes.

The wooden staff in his hand was the very fire-poker that Jiesha had specifically prepared for him.

His past arrogance and aura had completely vanished.

Even if he walked down the street, Chu Yuan might not necessarily recognize him.

”Young Master, didn’t you say this guy has great potential and is a scourge if left alive? Why let Jiesha take him away? What if...”

Zuo Shishi looked worried.

Chu Yuan smiled disdainfully, ”An ant is always an ant. No matter how great its skills or potential, it is all in vain.”

”He has been poisoned by me and his meridians have been sealed by my Huayang Needle Technique, which has completely restricted his potential. With Jiesha watching over him, he won’t be able to stir up any trouble.”

”I just want to see how vicious this dog will be once it’s let loose.”

Could Jiang Chen really develop and make a comeback?

Chu Yuan did not have much concern about this.

Although he possessed a system, without that skin to help him, and with himself watching him so closely, he had absolutely no chance.

Relying on his own methods, it was impossible for the other party to make a comeback and become famous.

As soon as Chu Yuan walked through the villa gate, he smelled the aroma of food; several dishes were already laid out on the table.

”Auntie’s cooking skills have improved; the food smells this good now.”

Chu Yuan was about to offer a compliment when he saw a beautiful figure busy in the kitchen, with Ye Xiaoling helping out on the side.

”Ms. Su, Xiao Ling, your injuries haven’t healed yet. Why are you running around working in the kitchen?”

”Auntie, are you dead? Why did you make Ms. Su and her daughter go to the kitchen to cook?”

Chu Yuan feigned anger and shouted to the side.

The Auntie nearby was already trembling with fear, stammering for a long time, completely at a loss for what to say.

Su Mingyue, however, walked over to Chu Yuan carrying a bowl of food.

”Young Master Chu, please calm your anger. Don’t blame Auntie; I was the one who insisted on cooking myself.”

”Is it because Auntie’s cooking isn’t good that you decided to do it yourself, Ms. Su?”

”No, that’s not it. I’ve been troubling you by staying here all this time, Young Master Chu, and I feel really bad about it.”

”So I thought I would cook some food to express my gratitude for your kindness, Young Master Chu.”

”Ms. Su, you are too polite. Truth be told, this is all my fault, Chu Yuan’s fault. Ever since meeting me, both you and your daughter have been injured. It feels like I’m a jinx.”

Su Mingyue was probably suspicious of this point.

After all, she and her daughter had lived perfectly fine before, without any major incidents.

Ever since Chu Yuan appeared in their lives, both of them had been injured one after another.

Chu Yuan guessed that Su Mingyue might have even suspected that all of this was related to him.

Chu Yuan decided to just lay everything out on the table.

Sure enough, after hearing Chu Yuan’s words, the suspicion in Su Mingyue’s heart dissipated quite a bit, and she could only offer a smile.

Saying this, Chu Yuan turned and walked into the living room.

Soon, Su Mingyue walked over carrying the last dish.

Ye Xiaoling took off her apron, served Chu Yuan a bowl of rice, poured him a glass of juice, and then sat down opposite him.

Her pair of watery eyes were filled with anticipation.

”This food looks very appetizing. Ms. Su is truly someone who can grace the parlor and handle the kitchen.”

”Young Master Chu, you flatter me.”

Su Mingyue smiled calmly.

Clearly, being praised by Chu Yuan like this, she was still feeling a little pleased with herself.

These dishes were truly a feast for the eyes, nose, and palate, with an alluring aroma that made one feel hungry at first glance.

Chu Yuan casually picked up a piece of fish from the side and put it into his mouth; his eyes immediately lit up.

”Not bad, this fish is truly not bad. I’m afraid even the chefs at five-star hotels wouldn’t have this level of skill.”

”Young Master Chu, you’re exaggerating. I, Su Mingyue, know my own limits; how could I dare to compare myself to a five-star hotel chef?”

”I am merely stating facts.”

”Eat, Ms. Su, Xiao Ling. You put your heart and soul into making this, and since you are both injured, you should eat more.”
