I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

117: Chapter 117 The Netherworld PalaceIn an unknown location abroad, inside a gloomy room.

”Underworld King, the three leaders of the Three Wolves Gang have all been wiped out by us, and the remaining small fry are no longer a threat.”

A burly, dark-skinned man was respectfully reporting to the handsome young man sitting in the seat of honor.

The young man was about thirty years old, of medium build, with a hint of resilience flashing across his delicate face, and a pair of eyes as cold as eternal ice, which made people tremble with fear.

”Very good. With the Three Wolves Gang wiped out, there is no longer any force within a radius of thousands of miles that can threaten my Nether Palace.”

The young man nodded in satisfaction and said, ”Leave the rest to you all to handle. You will also be in temporary charge of the Nether Palace. I plan to return to the Dragon Kingdom in these next few days.”

The dark-skinned man looked surprised: ”Didn’t the Underworld King say you would go back after a while? Why are you in such a rush?”

The young man frowned: ”I don’t know why either. I’ve been feeling restless lately, and I always feel like I’m going to lose something.”

”It’s been ten years since I’ve been back. I don’t even know what she looks like now that she’s grown up. Going back early will allow me to see her.”

”And Yue’er, it’s been ten years; I don’t know how she is doing.”

When speaking of that ”her” and Yue’er, a trace of tenderness finally emanated from the man’s cold eyes.

”Underworld King, could it be that you miss them so much that you’re having illusions?”

”No, it can’t be an illusion. I believe my intuition is never wrong,” the young man said firmly.

He was born with a sixth sense that others lacked, possessing an incredibly strong ability to foresee the future.

It was precisely this ability that allowed him to foresee the arrival of danger every time, enabling him to turn misfortune into good fortune.

This time, the feeling was very strange, and he didn’t know why.

He just felt that if he followed the original plan and returned three months later, he would lose many things.

”Xiaoyue, Ling’er, wait for me. I will be back soon. From now on, no one will ever hurt you mother and daughter again.”

Thinking of that gentle and beautiful figure, and thinking of his daughter, a hint of tenderness flashed in the man’s eyes.

Su Mingyue was Ye Yun’s woman, and they had even conceived the fruit of their love.

Ten years ago, due to a family tragedy, the Ye family was targeted by several major families in Shanghai and was wiped out overnight.

He and Su Mingyue took the child and fled separately. After luckily escaping, they were still hunted by assassins and chased to a sea cliff.

Like many a Protagonist, Ye Yun jumped off the cliff and did not die, but instead encountered a fleet heading abroad.

Abroad, he met his master and fought his way up, eventually becoming the current master of the Nether Palace and earning the title of Underworld King of the dark world.

”Oh, right, Underworld King, there is one thing I still need to report to you,” the dark-skinned man suddenly said.

”What is it?”

”A few days ago, Heiniu accepted a contract to assassinate Chu Yuan, a young master of the Shanghai Chu Family in the Dragon Kingdom. The mission failed, six people were captured, and Heiniu fled back in a sorry state.”

”What is going on? Didn’t I repeatedly order that without my command, no one is allowed to step into the Dragon Kingdom? How dare he defy my orders!”

Ye Yun frowned tightly, his face showing displeasure.

”It... it is said that he had leverage in that person’s hands, and coupled with the high price offered by the other party, so... so...”

”Stupid thing, dammit!”

Even with Ye Yun’s good cultivation, he couldn’t help but curse.

The Dragon Kingdom is a forbidden zone for mercenaries. Their Dragon Group is full of experts and is not to be trifled with.

Ordinary organizations would absolutely not risk such danger to go to the Dragon Kingdom and court death.

He had also issued an order that without his word, no one was allowed to enter the Dragon Kingdom.

This Heiniu dared to openly defy his order.

The target of the assassination was actually someone from the Chu family.

Although he was abroad, Ye Yun still paid attention to matters in the Dragon Kingdom.

He didn’t know much about the Shanghai Chu Family, only that it was a terrifying existence.

The Ye family of that time was considered a notable family in Shanghai, but even they had to keep their heads down when seeing people from the Shanghai Chu Family.

It can be said without hesitation that abroad, he could disregard the Chu family.

But in the Dragon Kingdom, especially in Shanghai, he wouldn’t dare to provoke the Shanghai Chu Family casually.

”Heiniu violated orders and acted without authorization. Give him one hundred lashes, lock him in solitary confinement for a month, and demote him to the lowest-ranking assassin.”

”As for Chu Yuan, since the mission has already been accepted, it must be completed. My Nether Palace will absolutely not lose its credibility in the eyes of the world.”

”And the Shanghai Chu Family—since we have already offended them, we must offend them to the end. Wipe them out together to avoid future trouble.”

Ye Yun’s expression was cold, possessing an air of majesty; he was awe-inspiring without even needing to be angry, just like an emperor.

After dismissing the dark-skinned man, Ye Yun temporarily canceled his plans to return to the country.

The power of the Shanghai Chu Family could not be underestimated. Talking big is easy, but actually doing it is not that simple.

Without absolute certainty, Ye Yun would not dare to act rashly.

”Ding! Because of the host, the Protagonist Jiang Chen has been suspended for investigation. The host has gained 4000 villain points.”

Just as Chu Yuan returned to the villa, the system delivered a belated surprise.

Zuo Shishi also handed over the latest intelligence from the Shanghai Police Station after Chu Yuan’s departure.

Jiang Chen had been forcibly suspended by Police Bureau Chief Jiang Haitian, placed in solitary confinement, and was under investigation.

Jiang Chen was, after all, the executive deputy chief of the Shanghai Police Station. Police Bureau Chief Jiang Haitian originally had no right to strip him of his power and position, but this time, for the sake of Chu Yuan, he had operated against regulations.

Therefore, he had hurried to meet with several big shots in Shanghai to report the situation.

To completely suspend Jiang Chen, there was still a process to follow.

Only after they held a meeting to decide and issued a notice would it be legitimate to strip Jiang Chen of his uniform.

”This uniform is crucial for Jiang Chen; he surely won’t be willing to sit and wait for his doom, right?”

Chu Yuan smiled faintly.

Holding the Case Solving System, if he lost that uniform, the system would be more than half useless. Jiang Chen would definitely not foolishly wait for the notice of his official dismissal.

”The Young Master is right. Jiang Chen is also making intensive preparations; it seems he is preparing to make things difficult for the Young Master.”

Zuo Shishi presented another piece of intelligence regarding Jiang Chen’s latest actions.

”That kid Jiang Chen was just a small policeman in his past life; he didn’t have much insight then, and it’s the same now.”

”He thinks he can shake the Shanghai Chu Family with those backups and connections of his?”

Chu Yuan sneered, completely unconcerned.

”Young Master, what past life and present life?”

Zuo Shishi looked at Chu Yuan in confusion, seemingly not understanding her Young Master’s words.

”It’s nothing.” Chu Yuan waved his hand, not wanting to discuss this topic further with Zuo Shishi, and changed the subject: ”Have you figured out which force the people who attempted the assassination tonight belong to?”

”The Underworld Palace.”

Zuo Shishi handed another piece of intelligence to Chu Yuan.

It was a report about the Underworld Palace.

It was the number one assassin organization abroad, whose leader, known as the Underworld King, was called the number one person in the dark world, with four great guardians, eight great diamond warriors, and twelve hall masters under his command.
