[System, check in and open the Assistance Package.] Su Bai commanded in his mind as soon as he opened his eyes.

Su Bai looked at the bag of rice that appeared out of thin air on the table with great satisfaction, saying. “It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten rice.”

Ever since he transmigrated to now, he had only been eating meat, and it was only recently that they finally had wheat.

This had only given him a bit of variety in flavour, but back on Earth he was accustomed to eating rice. He had not eaten rice for as long as he had been in this place.

“Rice porridge, steamed rice, paired with a few pieces of meat grilled to a slight char would definitely be great.” Su Bai began thinking about tonight’s dinner.

*Creak!*

After changing his clothes, he walked out of the room, planning to have a good workout first. He picked up his Crocodile Blade in the living room and began practising with it.

Half an hour later, he was already covered in sweat. After a quick rinse, he brushed his teeth, washed his face, and had breakfast.

“Shaman, Ah’Hua and the others aren’t here…” Yu Ying suddenly said.

Yu Ying had felt this particularly deeply when preparing breakfast this morning, because every morning’s breakfast had to be prepared for several people. But this morning she only needed to prepare for two people, and without the cheerful laughter of Yan Hua and the other, everything felt very quiet. This hushed feeling made her miss them.

“They’ll be back soon. Today, I’ll take you to do something different.” Su Bai smiled.

Yu Ying tilted her head with a confused expression, asking puzzledly, “Shaman, do we have any special arrangements today?”

“Eat first, you’ll know after we’re done eating,” Su Bai smiled slightly.

Half an hour later, the two finished their simple breakfast. Today they had wheat porridge and fried wild eggs.

“Shaman, I’ve finished tidying up,” Yu Ying showed an expectant expression, wanting to know what they were going to do next.

“Let’s go outside the Tribe. Today, we need to organise the farmland.” Su Bai said calmly.

Since the snow season had passed, it was now spring. As the saying goes, auspicious snow heralds a prosperous year.

Such heavy snow had passed, so it was time to properly organise the farmland and prepare to plant more crops.

“Organise the farmland? Plant crops like before?” Yu Ying’s pink fox ears twitched.

“Yes, the Tribe has so many people now, we need to plant more crops over a larger area.” Su Bai nodded.

If they wanted the Tribe to be self-sufficient, then agriculture absolutely could not be neglected, especially since the Tribe could not survive on meat alone.

Agriculture could grow vegetables and wheat, which would allow the Tribe’s people to adequately supplement their vitamins.

Because there are many vitamins that only vegetables contain, eating only meat provides no way to supplement these various types of vitamins.

The Human body needed many types of vitamins. Lacking certain vitamins makes it difficult to maintain bodily functions. This would manifest in various problems, such as night blindness or frequent mouth ulcers, or other such symptoms.

“I understand,” Yu Ying swished her pink fox tail.

“Go and gather a group of people. Bring the cattle we used for ploughing before. This time, we must properly reorganise the farmland.” Su Bai instructed.

To reorganise farmland, they definitely needed manpower. After several months of snow, that land had long since become incredibly hard.

They would certainly need the cattle to pull ploughs to till the soil, so they could better plant crops and the crops could better absorb nutrients from the soil.

“Understood.” Yu Ying’s clear voice rang out.

*Step step step…*

The two left the Yong’an Building, got on a carriage and headed towards outside the Tribe, where there was a large area of farmland that had been cultivated before the snow season.

After more than half an hour, the two arrived outside the Tribe. With the carriage and flat roads, leaving the Tribe no longer took so long.

“Shaman, the farmland does not look that nice anymore.” Yu Ying surveyed the surroundings.

She remembered that before the snow season, this place was still lush and green everywhere, all planted with green crops that looked very beautiful.

“Indeed, have people plough the fields with cattle like before.” Su Bai instructed.

“Right,” Yu Ying turned to have people prepare.

This large area of farmland was not small, roughly the size of four or five football fields on Earth.

With the Flame Dragon Tribe’s current manpower, having farmland this large was already quite good.

But mainly it was with the help of those cattle, otherwise there would have been no way to cultivate such a large area.

Most of the cattle brought back from the Hunting Ground previously had been used for ploughing, because they were most suitable for this work.

Eight cattle moved slowly forward in the fields, dragging ploughing tools behind them that turned over the originally clumped soil.

The eight cattle were divided into two teams, with four cattle ploughing one plot each, making the process much faster.

“Shaman, cattle really are our greatest helpers. That soil has been prepared in no time.” Yu Ying sighed.

Yu Ying thought of when they first started, using wooden sticks to dig the ground and plant sweet potatoes…

Although farming tools like hoes had now been invented, relying on their own Human effort to loosen the soil was still very time-consuming.

“Yes, in future there will be even more animals that can help our Tribe develop further.” Su Bai smiled.

There were plenty of animals that could help. Back on Earth, there were quite a few, such as police dogs, draught horses, cats and other animals.

“Shaman, what should we plant after the soil is loosened?” Yu Ying asked expectantly, wondering if it would be the same as before.

“Cabbage, carrots, corn and wheat.” Su Bai smiled. This had been planned long ago.

“With so many people in the Tribe, will what we grow on this bit of land be enough?” Yu Ying thought about the Tribe’s population.

She had heard earlier that the reason for expanding agriculture was because of the Tribe’s people, wanting them all to eat crops they grew themselves.

Although the Tribe’s population was not particularly large, having these crops grown on this bit of land divided amongst everyone in the Tribe was still somewhat difficult.

“This current land definitely isn’t enough, which is why I had you call people over.”

Su Bai surveyed the surrounding environment and continued. “I plan to expand the farmland area.”

He was looking at the position near the Tribe’s main gate, which was very spacious, and besides, this location would not be used as the main gate in future.

Moreover, behind this was almost entirely forest, making this location most suitable for developing into farmland.

“Shaman, you plan to continue expanding outwards, don’t you? But that area is all weeds.” Yu Ying looked at the surroundings of the existing farmland, which were all weeds.

“Have them clear away all those weeds, and have the cattle plough over there as well,” Su Bai instructed.
