*Step step step…*

Yan Hua and Sha Lan both had happiness written all over their faces as they excitedly climbed to the second floor of the Yong’an Building.

“Shaman, I’ve awakened as a Totem Warrior!” Yan Hua excitedly exclaimed.

After all, this was something she had been constantly wishing for. Now that she could finally get her wish, she was naturally delighted.

Just moments ago at the square, she had been grinning from ear to ear the entire time. If the ceremony had not still been ongoing, she would have definitely sought out Su Bai to immediately celebrate.

“Me too.” Sha Lan nodded happily as well.

Sha Lan felt the same way, though previously she had not particularly expected to become a Totem Warrior.

But ever since becoming the Shaman’s Shaman Priestess, her mindset had gradually begun to change.

“I told you both that you would definitely succeed.” Su Bai smiled.

Before the ceremony had begun, he had noticed that their expressions were all very tense.

None of them were very certain whether they could awaken as Totem Warriors, so each of their faces showed visible anxiety.

“Shaman, can I go to the Hunting Ground now?” The first thing Yan Hua thought of after becoming a Warrior was this.

After all, when she had wanted to go to hunt, she could not do so. Every time she wanted to follow along, she was stopped because she was not a Totem Warrior. The only time was to find horses and not to hunt.

So, the moment she became a Totem Warrior, the first thought that surfaced in her mind was that she wanted to go to the Hunting Ground.

“Ah’Hua, why is that the only thing on your mind the moment you become a Totem Warrior?” Sha Lan was simply gobsmacked.

“Haha…” Su Bai was also amused by Yan Hua’s words, saying. “Now that you’ve become a Totem Warrior, you can go, but there are still conditions.”

“Shaman, what conditions?” Yan Hua immediately perked up.

After all, the snow season and the eternal night had already passed, and now the Tribe could go out hunting again.

As long as she could go out, Yan Hua would definitely accept any conditions. She had really grown tired of staying in the Tribe during this recent period.

“You’ve just become a Totem Warrior. Shouldn’t you train first?” Su Bai asked in return.

Although she had become a Totem Warrior and her strength had become quite formidable, she was still like an eagle that had just learned to fly.

Even if one learned to soar, one still needed to carefully familiarise oneself with one’s wings, otherwise accidents could easily occur.

“Alright, Shaman, as long as I train seriously, I can definitely go to the Hunting Ground, right?” Yan Hua blinked her red eyes innocently.

She really loved the Hunting Ground. Whether it was the various Ferocious Beasts or the environment there, she found it all very appealing.

“Of course, when have I ever lied to you? As long as the Chieftain agrees that you can leave the Tribe to go to the Hunting Ground, I absolutely won’t stop any of you.” Su Bai said, taking a sip of tea.

He knew that Yan Hua really wanted to go to the Hunting Ground. Since she had already awakened as a Totem Warrior, her strength had increased accordingly.

Moreover, many people would go to the Hunting Ground together, so he did not have much to worry about.

After all, he had already given her a military knife. This weapon was more than enough to destroy many other types of weapons.

Most importantly, there were also firearms and explosive packages and such things, so her personal safety should not be a problem.

“Ah! Shaman, but I feel Father won’t agree to let me go to the Hunting Ground.” Yan Hua’s originally happy expression immediately fell.

She always felt that her Father liked to make a big fuss over small matters, especially after her Mother had passed away.

“Well, there’s nothing I can do about that. If he won’t let you go, it’s probably because he feels you are not strong enough. But if you are strong, he won’t refuse to let you go.” Su Bai said.

This was actually the result he wanted. After all, the Tribe had just overcome the eternal night, and many aspects were still not very stable. Furthermore, the Tribe was still abundant in terms of food. Even if they needed to hunt, that would be Cang Shi and the others’ responsibility.

The Warrior Trainees who had just awakened as Totem Warriors still needed to train properly to ensure their strength could match their current status. They should not end up in a situation where their status was that of a Totem Warrior, but their strength still remained that of a Warrior Trainee. That would be problematic.

“I understand. I will definitely work very hard.” Yan Hua suddenly became serious.

She naturally understood this point as well. Although she knew she had awakened as a Totem Warrior, she still felt her strength was not much different from before.

The only major difference was probably that she could now actively trigger her Totem Mark, but that was about it.

“Where have all the newly awakened Warriors been arranged to go?” Su Bai was rather curious about this point.

Since he had felt like returning to the Yong’an Building to rest first, and these matters were all arranged by the Chieftain, he did not know.

“Father told all Warriors to rest well first. Training will begin this afternoon.” Yan Hua explained.

In the Flame Dragon Tribe, everything they did was very tightly scheduled. Since they had already gone through the ceremony and awakened, training had to immediately follow.

“That quick? Well, it’s all up to the Chieftain.” Su Bai put down his teacup.

“It’s like this every year. As soon as one awakens as a Warrior, they are immediately arranged for training.”

Sha Lan swished her cat tail, continuing. “But this year is already very good. They’re letting us rest first. Previously, training would begin directly after the ceremony.”

The Flame Dragon Tribe was in survival mode. It was desperate for strength to survive.

So although each year’s awakening ceremony was exhausting, training was never neglected.

“Then you should go back and rest well. Don’t you have training this afternoon?” Su Bai said.

He knew why the Chieftain was letting them rest first. Probably so he could also calm his emotions. After all, this time, all the Warrior Trainees became Totem Warriors. It was a feat that would shock anyone.

Rather than training with shocked and flustered emotions, it was better to let them rest first so he could also settle his feelings.

“Shaman, I’m not tired. I’m too happy to rest. I finally became a Totem Warrior!” Yan Hua said joyfully.

She could be said to be radiant with energy now, which could be seen from her irrepressible smile.

“Shaman, the Tribe really has you to thank. Otherwise, not that many of us would have awakened.” Sha Lan suddenly said.

Sha Lan knew that this high rate was not a coincidence. It was definitely related to the Shaman. Without him, she doubted all of this would be possible.

“This is all because you’ve worked hard for it. I only helped a little.” Su Bai was rather dismissive.

Actually, everyone knew that as long as the Warrior Trainees and the people ate well, drank well, and slept well, many of them would awaken.
