Chapter 2293: Dragon Realm’s Perspective and Scheme

When Ammor said it, Zonaras took it as a humiliation, but no one refuted it when Orve said it.

”I don’t care about your descendants’ conflict. You can protect your descendants if you want to, but I am not going to join or help your stupid fight. Don’t you dare drag the Dragon Realm into another endless war because I will get rid of the troublemaker. It’s not like we are lacking the Dragon Guardian’s candidates anyway.”

The chilling warning silenced the Dragon Guardians even further. No one dared to talk back, not even Ammor.

”Is he really that strong, huh?” A deep voice joined the conversation.

Everyone recognized the voice: Tynayr the Galestorm Dragon, one of the four Dragon Guardians.

”He is strong, but his class is the problem; his spirits are the problem, and I have confirmed it myself. She is indeed Kankara’Xeo’s last descendant.”

Orve gave his honest evaluation of Tang Shaoyang: ”And I think he has more power hidden than from the information we have gathered about him so far. If you bother to read the report, he actually never has truly gone all out, whether it was his fight against the Emperor from the Void Realm or the former Executive Administrator. He was alive and kicking after each battle.”

”Have you truly confirmed that he truly killed Alderman Fiodor by himself without receiving any help from anyone? You know that Arion has a lot of nasty things that could be sent to help.”

Iandra calmed down and took things carefully. She realized that Orve and Ammor were not looking at her or the other two who fought Tang Shaoyang. It was a genuine assessment about Tang Shaoyang. It sounded unbelievable that a human who was not even a decade in the God Realm could receive such valuation from Ammor and Orve.

”Yes. My informant in the Administrator confirmed Alderman’s head. He also apparently met the Emperor of the Void Realm as well, yet he returned intact. Don’t you dare underestimate him if you ever fight him in the future.”

”Tch! I should have the one come to meet him instead of sending those two. I can’t believe I missed it.”

Tynayr left after saying, not interested in anything else.

None of them bothered to stop Tynayr to discuss the issue with them. They knew Tynayr so well that it was pointless to have Tynayr here anyway.

”You have been warned, as I said earlier. I will not side with you if you truly fight him, as long as he doesn’t drag the entire realm to a war; then I will just watch from the side. But that also applies to you all. If any of you try to drag the entire realm to wage war against him, then I will get rid of you!”

That was Orve’s last words before his figure blurred and disappeared. The entire realm was Orve’s domain. He could move freely anywhere.

”What are you going to do, Ammor?” Iandra asked right after the Dragon Monarch left.

She preferred that Ammor would take her side and fight Tang Shaoyang. Without a doubt, Tang Shaoyang would come for the Metarnian Clan. That would give her an excuse to make a move against Tang Shaoyang. She agreed with Zonaras that they must get rid of that cursed dragon along with the last Kankara’Xeo. She would also make the preparations while Tang Shaoyang had his own preparations.

Ammor shrugged, ”I will do nothing. Unless he comes for me, then I will not bother him. Don’t involve me in your stupid descendant’s problem. I will warn my descendants too that they will get expelled if they ever join hands with you.”

The Sky Dragon also left in a blur, leaving Iandra, Zonaras, and Nirdarth. Nirdarth didn’t speak a word, not because he didn’t have anything in his mind. It was because of his status. As the Dragon Guardian Candidate, he didn’t have the right to join when the four guardians and the monarch were in discussion unless he was told to speak.

The moment Orve and Ammor left, Nirdarth approached his descendant. ”What are you discussing with the Executive Administrator?”

Zonaras and Iandra were interested. What made the Executive Administrator come here directly?

The clan was of much lower status. If someone like Nirdarth was not allowed to interfere, let alone them. They lowered their heads and overheard the conversation. The shock was obvious on the Elders’ faces as well as Krazon’s face.

It was beyond their expectation that the Dragon Monarch would admit openly how strong Tang Shaoyang was. It was to the point of respecting Tang Shaoyang.

Elder Kryndor, along with the rest of the Elders, regarded Tang Shaoyang as lower than the Dragon Guardian. That was why they readily ganged up on Tang Shaoyang. Regret started taking over, regretting that they didn’t strike a deal with Tang Shaoyang.

Elder Kryndor stepped forward when his patron questioned, ”We haven’t discussed anything yet, Lord Nirdarth. But we plan to ask for cooperation with him for the God Realm Champion, and we are considering forming an alliance with the Tang Empire.”

Elder Kryndor changed his tune, lying to Lord Nirdarth. It was never about alliance, but vassalage. However, that might upset Nirdarth if he told the truth.

A clan from the Dragon Realm submitting to a foreign faction was humiliating in the eyes of the Dragon Guardian. He didn’t know what Nirdarth would do to them if Nirdarth found out. Lord Nirdarth might kill them all because of how humiliating it was to Lord Nirdarth that his descendant submitted to a foreign faction.

Zonaras’ eyes brightened as he thought of a good idea. ”We can use that event to kill him!”

”The Administrator can’t find fault with us if he died in the God Realm Champion. This might be our chance!”

”You can’t...” Krazon wanted to protest, but then a massive pressure fell on him. Nirdarth and Zonaras’ auras overwhelmed him.

Krazon fell to his knees, and soon his knees gave out. His body was pressed to the ground with his face kissing the ground.

”How dare you interrupt! It seems your descendant has grown some guts just because he is part of the Administrator!” Zonaras’s aura was mixed with killing intent.

”That’s enough, Zonaras. Don’t kill him.”

Iandra stopped Zonaras from killing Krazon.

”Why are you protecting him, Iandra? Even Nirdarth doesn’t say anything.” Nirdarth, who was the Stygian Wither Clan’s patron, did nothing, but Iandra, who was not related, meddled. That annoyed Zonaras as he tried to vent his frustration on Krazon.

”I am not protecting him. You need to rein in your temper and cool your head a little bit. We have better use for him than killing him now. We can’t join, so we need a lot of clan members to kill him. We can use him as a meat shield, or even use him to poison Tang Shaoyang since he is also from the Administrator.”
