Chapter 2267: God Realm Champion

Krazon tried his best to keep his expression neutral, but he ended up sighing, ”There’s no deceit or scheme, Sir. And yes, we mean well with the invitation. There’s something my clan wants to discuss with you. Something I can’t say here.”

”Something to discuss...” Tang Shaoyang muttered, ”We can have a discussion later, but you need more than that to convince me to meet your clan. The last time I had a meeting with a clan. It ended with a tragic end.”

He was talking about the Daenelis Clan, who tried to assassinate him.

”It’s about cooperation, and maybe more than just a cooperation talk. The Elders of my clan haven’t really decided it yet. But I am certain about the cooperation for the upcoming event.”

”Upcoming event?” Tang Shaoyang was unsure what Krazon talked about. He didn’t really know what the dragonkin meant for the upcoming event.

It was Krazon’s turn to be surprised by Tang Shaoyang’s response. He was surprised that Tang Shaoyang didn’t know about the upcoming event.

”You don’t know?” Krazon asked with uncertainty. No one knew about the God Realm’s event that was held once every one hundred years.

Krazon was surprised at first, but then he remembered that the man in front of him was not an old geezer, but a new generation with a meteoric rise. It made sense for him to not know about the event once in a hundred years, when this was not even his tenth year yet, since the man reached the God Rank.

”The event has many names. Some called the event Champion of God, some called the event King of God, some called the event God Ascension, and many more, but...”

Tang Shaoyang cut Krazon off, ”It’s one event, but why so many names?”

Krazon chuckled, ”It’s because the winner of the event named the event after themselves. It’s Champion of God because the winner called himself Champion among Gods. It’s the King of God because the winner titled himself as Godking. It’s God Ascension because the winner claimed the event is the way to be a True God.”

”What about the real name of the event then?”

”God Realm Champion.”

That was the first time he heard about the event. There were quite a few official events in the God Realm. He was so busy building his Spirit and Skeleton army that he didn’t really pay attention to those events.

It was because he was an Executive Administrator. He could get what he wanted with his privilege, which was why he didn’t involve himself with the event in the God Realm, or even attempt to clear the dungeons in the God Realm.

”So your clan wants cooperation for this God Realm Champion?”

Krazon confirmed with a nod, ”Yes, and there might be other things to discuss. It’s just the Elders of my clan are still discussing it.”

”But just so you know, inviting me to the Dragon Realm might bring trouble to your clan.”

Tang Shaoyang was not lying, and he was not talking about his issue with the Metarnian Dragon Clan, which was part of the Nirvana Alliance. He was talking about the Dragon Guardian. Baccara might want to settle her debt if they ever visited the Dragon Realm.

Baccara was killed by the Dragon Guardian, Ammor the Sky Guardian. His contract with Baccara was to assist him in her vengeance. So yeah, he might have to kill the Dragon Guardian.

If the Dragon Realm knew that he got into the Dragon Realm through Krazon, his clan would be in trouble without a doubt.

[Let’s save Ammor after your war, Master.]

He could feel the concern from the Black Phoenix. She was worried that the Tang Empire might have to face the Dragon Realm on top of the Nirvana Alliance and the God Order.

”You don’t need to worry about it, Sir. We are not afraid of the Metarnian Dragon Clan, or even the Nirvana Alliance. It’s something our clan can handle.” Krazon assured.

”There might be a bigger problem than that. Just so you know, I am a magnet for trouble.”

Krazon smiled, ”You don’t have to worry about that. In the end, it’s just a matter of time until you visit the Dragon Realm. My clan will just quicken the process.”

”Let’s talk again after the mission for the details, and when your clan wants to meet me. I have a tight schedule, but I will make some time to meet your clan.”

”I can tell you seem not to have an interest in the event, but I can assure you, Sir. It’s lucrative to join even for Executive Administrators. All Executive Administrators except for Lady Clementine and Sir Andre always join the event.”

Now Tang Shaoyang was curious, but he didn’t ask the details. He could find the details soon.

”Then I will contact you again once my clan is ready for the discussion, Sir.” Krazon left after that.

The first thing he did was to contact Feng Zhan, asking his intelligent agent about the God Realm Champion. If the event was as big as Krazon mentioned, then there might be a change of plan. He didn’t really have much time until the Nirvana Alliance and the God Order’s punishment was over.

They had served their punishment for four years—this was their fourth year. The war with them would not end in one or two years. They were a faction that had been ruling for thousands of years. The youngest faction was the Divine Church, with a few hundred years of history.

They had a lot of worlds they could escape to. Destroying them would take time, and he might not be able to get rid of them all even if he won the war. That was why he wanted to start the war earlier, before the punishment was lifted.

’That’s for later. I need to focus on the project that might help me in the war.’

Tang Shaoyang stepped out of the barrier and touched the falling black snow. He tried to sense the snow with his energy, trying to find if the snow contained the Void Energy or not. If it contained the Void Energy, then this might be poison.

There was no trace of energy in the snow. It should be safe for the other administrators. Then he dipped his feet into the thick snow on the ground, wondering if the pile might contain poison.

His body shuddered as the bone-chilling coldness reached his spine. That caught him off guard, not expecting that he could still be affected by the coldness of the snow.

[This place is unique... If you are affected by the cold of the black snow, you should find out what caused the snow to turn black. That might benefit you.] Avyn commented.

”Benefit me? What about you? Shouldn’t you be benefited as well?” He inherited her elemental power, so what benefited him should benefit her as well. The way she phrased her words was weird, as if this had nothing to do with her.

[While the snow doesn’t contain the Void Energy, the change is most likely affected by the Void Energy, and I can’t use Void Energy to make the change. The Void Energy is poison even for me.]
